I don't know what I would've done without 4 Seasons last year. I worked in this food desert most of 2018. I'm not using this term to be funny or demeaning. Unfortunately, options in the immediate area include Mickey D's, Wendy's, KFC, Checker's and non-descript food trucks. I literally went here every day, usually grabbing a smoothie, juice or salmon bowl. Employees were always friendly. Knocked off a star for the long preparation time and the occasional missing items. 1st time coming here since a friend hyped up the place. I ordered a Strawberry, Beets and ginger smoothie and it was amazing. No artificial flavors just fresh and raw ingredients. I also love that dynamics of the store. They also have a fitness center inside as well. I will definitely come back to try different options. I've eaten here before; the food is okay for lunch or breakfast, I just feel they can work on being a little more organized. This spots primary customer base are students & employees of UMDNJ. They have a lot of heathy choices such as salads, fruits & smoothies, my average spending for lunch has been about $8.00 which includes my drink, but it can be more if I have a salad which is about $8.50. I would eat here ago, but I pray they learn to speed it up, after all my lunch break is only an hour. update: 09/22/2015 today's experience was better than my previous experience, I placed my order online through the yelp app, the food was ready when I got there & let me just say the salad was delicious, a salad is always just okay, but the shrimp were so tasty, very well seasoned; therefore I have changed their rating from a 3 to a 4. The 4 seasons is my go to for whenever I want to pick up lunch during a study break. Their chipotle wrap and 4 seasons wrap are super delicious, but if I had to choose one, I'd go with the chipotle wrap with grilled chicken on wheat. Usually this place is very busy during lunch hours, about 12-1:30, and there usually is a wait since everything is made fresh. Worth the wait though! Their smoothies are also very good. Came here for lunch with a friend. We both got wraps and shared curly fries. I got crispy chicken and honey mustard on mine and my friend got the Caesar wrap. I enjoyed mine! The price was fair for everything. I only wish the smoothies were a little cheaper, but people were still in there buying them so they must be good. Maybe I'll come back one day to try it! read more

I ordered brown rice , shrimp & salad. I also ordered a power green shake and a wheat grass shot. The brown rice is very very good and the sauce they top the shrimp with is awesome. I've been eating here since 2015 and 4 seasons is awesome. The Mayor special no banana, more mango is very delicious. I used to get the monkey power no banana, mango. The samples are there throughout the day. I don't eat red meat and I'm lactose intolerant so my stomach is very sensitive. I've had the breakfast and lunch my stomach loved it. I highly recommend this place for the active and non active community. read more

Love love LOVE this place ! The owner is a woman who loss over 80lbs from dieting and juicing . She is very acknowledgeable of the health benefits of many different fruits, vegetables, and herbs . She also makes juices by request depending on what you are trying to do (loose stomach, overall weight, maintain health ect.). Even if the owner is not there, she has an excellent well trained staff who are as friendly and helpful as it gets definitely a must go for health fanatics in the area! read more

It's really nice inside. Nice atmosphere & nice seats. It has its busy days. Sometimes they can be fast and sometimes slow but they're good. The things I did get from there, they were delicious. Everyone enjoys their smoothies, I guess I have to try myself as well. They have a gym in the back, you can sign up for a membership. It's really cool. It's a UPS Access Point, so If you live close and you feel as though you won't be home in time to make your package, you can request to have it delivered there. read more

I ordered lunch delivered for myself and coworkers. Order totalled over $67. I ordered early. I was told it would be 30 minutes. We are a school and have a specific lunch time. It is not flexible. The order took 90 minutes to arrive. Too late for lunch. Drinks were melted. We ordered and paid for extra salmon. It did not arrive with the order. I called. This place is AMAZING. This is my new favorite juice bar in NJ. The juices are organic and healthy. It's fresh and you can taste the difference in the quality of the juices. I had a shot of wheatgrass and a small power green juice. I also tried their 4 Seasons wrap which was also super good. The prices are also fair given the superb quality of the food and service. For as astoundingly crowded as 4 Seasons gets during lunch it should really have more reviews! A line almost to the door on weekdays between 12-2 is not uncommon, so don't expect to be in and out in 10 minutes. Smoothies and juices (for which there is a loyalty punch card, I think the 7th one is free?) are where this place shines. Food is a big ol' meh and much of the menu is unhealthy in contrast to the drinks. Big plus is that veggie burgers can be subbed in to any meal, but I do believe they're store-bought frozen as are the fries, onion rings, etc. Service isn't great; they've simply forgotten to make my order a few times and when they're emptier the staff can get kind of lazy and like to play on their phones. Definitely worth checking out if you work nearby but wouldn't come otherwise read more

Disgusting. Spent 30 bucks on wings and they were definitely the worst wings I've ever had in my life. Sauce was still visibly thick like someone opened up a bottle of bbq sauce and poured it over some thawed out wings and just served it up. Gross read more

The 'Power Green' is everything!!!! They also have two carafes of free refreshments while you wait. I think that's a nice touch. One is of fruit infused water, the other of a guava drink that is out of this world. It's the best juice -- that I have ever had. The food is good. Amazing!! read more

Food is okay. The children working the register and phone are annoying sometimes. Breakfast is eh. Although I've only had it once because They always run out of stuff. I hate when places are ALWAYS out of something. And This has happened on several occasions. The fruit and veggies used for the smoothies aren't always ripe so the smoothie can be kinda bland. There's free street parking right up front. I've been here twice and both visits were positive experiences. The cafe is small, but cozy. The greenery and natural lighting make it a welcoming space to meet up with a friend over coffee and pastries or to study. There's a few tables, a couch, and stool seating facing the window. There's also free wifi and outlets. The tables are on the smaller side and the cafe isn't that big, so it's probably not best for large groups. Their menu is simple and a bit limited. Honestly... I prefer it that way! They have your core espresso drinks and a few paninis and croissant sandwiches. They bake their own pastries fresh on the premises. I recommend trying their cookies - they are huge, soft, and chewy! They also specialize in custom cakes for special occasions. Everything is reasonably priced. Baristas are sweet and efficient. They make some tasty iced lattes! The espresso is strong, but not too bitter. It has just the right balance of coffee and milk. I recently tried the Ham Solo sandwich ($10) which included scrambled egg, ham, cheddar, and avocado on a croissant with a side of chips. It wasn't bad, but I wouldn't order it again. The egg was dry and the ham and cheese tasted like those cheap, pre-sliced ones from grocery stores. If I lived closer, I could see myself stopping by more often. Check them out if you're in the area!

Lots of work space to enjoy inside, on the counter, or outdoors. I think you can rent the upper level for meetings with a conference table and multiple seats. I give this coffee shop a 3 star specifically for my latte. Coffee was good, syrup was not. Syrup hurt the coffee. My colleagues enjoyed their coffee which did not have caramel syrup. They ordered a cappuccino and drip coffee. Friendly staff and very chill space. I think I will come back and get some work done. No syrup for me next time :)
