Disappointed. You order a chipotle wrap and it's dry very dry although it says it should have sauce. I asked to make sure there is enough sauce on this dry wrap. THEY DID NOT. It's so frustrating. -First Impression- Came in around lunch time, wasn't very busy. Everything seemed very clean and neat. -Food- Fresh and delicious! My salad was big enough to split into two, maybe even three servings, but I'm greedy lol. I chose the build your own salad option so I basically added one of everything lmao -Service- Staff was friendly and efficient. My order was ready extremely fast (orders through Uber Eats, took a 5 minute walk to pick it up) -Price- Portion sizes definitely justify the price. It's hard to tell the actual size of the salad is tough to judge from pictures, but trust, it's pretty big! -Did Not Like- Not applicable! -Noteworthy- I was only physically in the store for about 40 seconds to pick up my food, but I was pretty impressed in that short amount of time -Recommend- Would definitely order from here if you're looking for something healthy and filling. While staying overnight at the airport Renaissance hotel ( which does not have a restaurant), this option sounded appealing for its fresh salad options. Thank you, Yelpers, for your recommendation to download their app to save 15% of a first order. The make your own salad/bowl ingredients sounded so yummy that it turned into a huge salad costing $18 pre delivery and tip. Lol! Falafel tasted fresh as all the other goodies. Would have liked more quinoa and some seasoning in the lemon olive oil dressing. Greens were plentiful and the other items were ample if not plentiful. Next time I would only choose 1 green item instead of both spinach and arugula which may have impacted the ratios. Thanks for the healthy option to end my trip of way eating too much yummy NJ bread! I'm impressed. Pro tip: don't order on GrubHub if you have other options. The prices are a few dollars higher on GrubHub than if you order in person or through the Salad House app. Even better, your first order on the Salad House app gets a 20% discount. My first salad was the Fit & Fueled, a healthy option loaded with fiber, vitamins, minerals, and other healthy ingredients. Next time around I went for the Buffalo Jack. Oh baby, that fried chicken in the Buffalo Jack is delicious! Super tasty, though a teensy bit less healthy overall. You can also build your own custom salad if none of the signature options fit your fancy. Salad House serves wraps, bowls, and soups in addition to salads. Indeed, the menu is way more extensive than I had expected. You could eat here every day for weeks and try something different each time. The service has been exceptional both times I've stopped by. Ordered through Grubhub. I got the chicken Caesar wrap and the crispy shrimp. I def enjoyed the chicken Caesar wrap or,the shrimp. The texture and warmth of the shrimp wrap was not my favorite. I love me a make your own salad spot so I was intrigued when I walked past Salad House. We placed our order online which was a pretty seamless process. Pickup was expeditious and just as easy as ordering with a designated area to pick up your food. The staff were attentive and proactive in assisting customers as well. The spot is like your typical to-go spot, with few high top tables to enjoy your food, but to not stay for long. I did order the Backyard BBQ salad which is one of their signature pre-crafted salads. It had Romaine, BBQ Grilled Chicken, Black Beans (which I omitted), Corn, Frizzled Onions, and Cheddar Cheese. I got the chipotle dressing which had a nice kick to it. There was also a sweetness to the BBQ Chicken which complimented the dressing. Everything tasted fresh and it was pretty well mixed. I wouldn't mind a location in NYC, just saying. read more
