It's rare to fine peri peri chicken places in North NJ. Was very excited to try this place, and it didn't disappoint. Delicious chicken and peri peri sauce combo to brighten up your day. I ordered the all dark half chicken that came with three pieces of thigh+leg. It was cooked perfectly, soft and seasoned. The peri peri sauce added another layer of spice and citrus kick to it. Really liked it, wish it had more sauce. Main dishes don't come with any side, so had to order the rice separately. Sides range from $4-$5 The food comes out within 5 minutes, super fast. Restaurant is mostly clean with lots of table to dine in. They are popular for take out orders as well.

So I genuinely enjoyed the medium sauce on my chicken very tasty, however there's a few problems with the dish. The chicken thigh needs to be marinated in that peri peri sauce and the skin on the chicken needs to be crispy. I wish they would marinate it in the sauce and toss in the sauce before putting it under a salamander to char the skin some. I had the salad and corn which were both very tasty. I'll give it another shot just not right now, today is there second soft open day. The manager was super nice too. Cheers

Nice place with very authentic tasting Indian food. We had chicken with rice (both mild and extra spicy) and they were very good. The chicken was a bit raw but the rice and vegetables were very good. Place was a bit small with uncomfortable chairs and crowded seating arrangements. Overall, nice classic spicy food for the price.

If you are a fan of Nandos you will like this place! Dont get me wrong, it's not as good but if you want to save yourself the drive to DC. This is a great option. The fries were out of this world! Ask them to put the seasoned salt on them. The chicken had great flavor but i wish it wasn't just a sauce they put on top vs marinating it with it. The other thing that i noticed is you have to buy majority of the menu items separately, which i didn't like too much.

Clean, good food, really spicy if you choose the extra spicy sauce. If anything I would have wanted bigger serving size but small

So happy I decided to stop in. The service was great. Very kind, helpful and patient employees! I chose the rice and falafel bowl with a side of mixed olives. Everything was delicious. Portions were generous, but not overboard. The falafel was nicely browned with good crunch and flavor. The sauce drizzled on the falafel was delicious! Just a bit of sweetness to the dish. The side salad was perfectly dressed. The yellow rice packs some nice heat and perfectly cooked. Will definitely be returning!

Look at the delicious meal I enjoyed!! The macaroni & cheese was creamy and the chicken was perfect. I love the sauces.

Then the appetizer- we had the shrimp with garlic sauce, the chorizo and the grilled octopus. All 3 as if we were in Spain. Entree's all were accompanied by vegetables rice and chips. We had the cod, red snapper and halibut. Then we split a chicken Piaya - the house specialty. Having had piaya in the past it seems to be overwhelming rice but this was not. Great balance of ingredients sauce flavor and rice. We tried a couple of the sauces on the side for the fish and while excellent- they were not necessary as the fish was excellent on its own. We also enjoyed a flan for dessert and cafe and cappuccino. Considering the amount of food we had and leftovers I thought the price was quite reasonable. All servers and matre di were dressed in formal black and white and the room was a formal dining area. Truly enjoyable. We'll be back!

It was a large salad. Very tasty. Could have been more chilled. It was cool at best. I ordered the Paella Marinera. It was huge. Definitely shareable. Came with a half lobster, muscles, clams, and squid. It was really tasty. I usually have a pretty big appetite, but I could not finish it. After dinner, we order the flan and the pumpkin cheesecake. Both were good. Service was excellent. Multiple people handling the table and very attended. I highly recommend. Well visit next time I'm in the area

I enjoyed the contemporary design of the restaurant and the food was amazing. I had a dish that I normally don't make and don't see it in restaurants across the US - beef parmigiana. The meat was very tender, and the tomato sauce was well balanced without a lot of acidity, which I liked. It's a good size and you will probably take some home. Luis, the owner, is very proud of their vinyl equipment and says that the music selection of the DJs is very diverse and upbeat. This is a son and mother business and mom is in charge of the kitchen, menu design, produce purchase to keep everything fresh. I would definitely dine here again and I recommend it.

They had a wide variety of food, all ranging from beef, pork, chicken, seafood, and some vegetarian options. They had an extensive wine menu, and my boyfriend joyfully enjoyed a glass of wine. I got the brazilian fried chicken, which was extremely flavorful, and i was surprised there wasn't any breading on the chicken as typical fried chicken does. I much preferred the no-breading style, which I think is the Brazilian way. I would have preferred a boneless dish, as there were quite a few pieces with bones, and it was pretty oily at the bottom of the dish. It came with two very large sides, and totaled around $25. 100% would recommend this dish, but I do think at a lower price point, this could make do with just one side, instead of two, as the main dish was quite large enough to fill me up. My favorite part of this meal was the garlic butter bread that they provide for free. It comes out extremely fresh with lots of chopped up garlic, which is my favorite part of garlic bread. It was a great way to start the dinner off. The service was great and the waiters were extremely attentive. They regularly checked up on how we felt about the food and filled up our drinks. The restaurant was pretty empty while we were dining, but the space was laid out very nicely and the decor was beautiful. Would come again if it wasn't so far!

The Mixed Meat option had several different preparations of beef and a sausage served with a salad, french fries, and white rice. It was a generous portion of meat in a large plate. For dessert we all had the Serradura (Portuguese Sawdust Pudding) which was made with a meringued cream, whipped cream, and crushed cookies mixed together. Very delicious, not too sweet and not too filling. All around there was brick, stone and solid wood. I felt like I was in what I imagined a restaurant in Portugal would be like back in the day. The servers were friendly. I gives me the sense that it is a good place to have a range of events - from a business lunch to a celebratory party. There is lots of space in the restaurant with different rooms. One room seemed specifically set up for large parties whereas another room was set up like a typical restaurant. Our party was able to relax and enjoy ourselves without ever feeling any time pressures from the staff. It was quite an enjoyable experience.

I immediately brought the issue to the waiter's attention, yet no one from management came over to speak with me or apologize for what happened. What was even more disappointing was that I was not offered another meal or given the opportunity to order something else. When a customer is served food that is clearly unacceptable, I would expect management to take the situation seriously, check on the customer, apologize, and make an effort to correct it. Unfortunately, none of that happened. The food itself was bad enough, but the lack of concern and customer service afterward made the experience even worse. I expected much more from this restaurant.
