We re-negotiated the original, very generously low price and were able to get a very tough move on the road. Once they got to my house, the crew got everything off their trucks, and were able to assemble the beds they brought, and got everything done that was possible to be done. They ended up leaving our new home very late, but they got everything done great. My partner are very thankful we found them and recommend their moving services to anyone in the Capital Region.

The company worked with us to find a time that worked for everyone despite not having much availability. Our two-bedroom apartment was packed up quickly and efficiently with a 4-man crew. They wrapped all delicate items in moving blankets and packed everything with care in their enclosed truck; making only one trip from the apartment to the house. Charging by the hour I assumed they would take their time, but they were there to move us as quickly as possible. In our new home, all employees paid special attention to not tracking mud each time they came inside, something I was especially wow'd with. When the guys came down, it was a week after the big blizzard in NYC, so getting around was a bit rough, but these guys didn't blink. We also probably had about 10-20% more than we thought we did and the guys just kept at it. Seeing them pack the truck was like watching a real life tetris game. After the drive up, they loaded everything into our living room per our request, took a well deserved beer break (it was the least we could offer) and they even gave us some recommendations on where to get some dinner. Also, our household goods arrived in excellent condition without evidence of shifting, which to me indicates that the driver took great care in hauling the load. On both ends, the drivers also worked to position the trailer in the most advantageous spot for loading and unloading. The three days to load and unload are more than ample if you are organized ahead of time in your planned packing and unpacking. As a final note, everyone I spoke with in making the reservation and throughout the move was professional, personable, and helpful. First they piled boxes and furniture so high in the new location that I could not move around the rooms or move any thing myself. They charged me to come back the next day and move things around so it was more manageable. Then I started noticing all the damage to several pieces of furniture. My furniture had some surface scratches from my cats and child. However there are now gouges and scrapes on the edges of all my tables and the frame fell off the glass from the bottom door of the barrister bookcase. When I contacted the owner as stated in his contract for damaged furniture, he said he was sorry I felt this way , they did a great job and to send him the court date.

I have no complaints for the actual move of the items, none whatsoever. They were careful and worked fairly fast. Crew is A++++++. My only advice would be to ensure to get the size of truck and any other prices up front. This move ended being a lot more expensive than I had budgeted for. I was moving from a 2 br to a house, I was expecting one large truck but ended up being a smaller Penske truck. This led to having to do two trips. The biggest expense was the fact that I was charged for travel time, round trip for the time it took them to get to my place and time it took to go back to Clifton park after the move, which amounted to one more hour. This expense was never mentioned so it would have helped to know it ahead of time.
