AVOID USING THIS COMPANY. They are unprofessional from start to finish. They tried cancelling on me with less than 6 days notice, turns out they called the wrong customer. Then they showed up 2 hours late. Then they complained that I was unprofessional by getting up in my face and swearing at me. Mover Jay actually said, "What the fuck is with your attitude? You copin' a fuckin attitude with me like I did something to you. I don't even want to keep doing this move for you." For context, I was upset that he showed up two hours late with no explanation but continuously complained he was tired, and I got stuck with an additional fee for returning the truck late because of them. My "attitude" was actually, asking them to get started when they finally arrived. Don't waste your time with these assholes. They'll make your move more stressful, if they even show up. Just another joker who hires whoever he can get off of craigslist to do a move. Three guys showed up as arranged, they destroyed a $600 desk, damaged a wall in multiple locations at the delivery address, and didn't finish all the work as agreed upon. Dwayne (the owner) said that his company would take care of everything and then he ghosted me. I'm going to end up having to take this joker to small claims court (he probably won't even show up) to get a judgement and then go after him for damages. If only a zero rating was an option. I highly recommend this company if your wish is to pack all of your worldly possessions for a long distance move, only to not have your movers show up! Movers were supposed to arrive at 9am. Called at 10 am and was greeted by to a lovely voicemail. Left a message and was gifted with a return call 30 minutes later from an incredibly dismissive man only to be told I would get a call back in 45 minutes with an "update." 2 hours, 10 unanswered phone calls, 2 text messages and one email later ... I got THIS response: Dear Ms. Brooks  I regret to inform you that we will have to reschedule our upcoming move to a later date. I hope we can arrange a new move on a different day. Please let me know what day will fit in with your schedule. If not, I will be happy to discuss a time that is more favorable to you. Please call or email me at your convenience. Wow! Whatever your moving needs are, Pack it up moving is the place to go! They were responsive, timely, and efficient. We had Jesse and Wayne come unload our U-Haul and they were awesome. They unloaded a 15 ft U-Haul in less than 2 hrs. They placed all of our things where we needed them to go. They were kind and respectful. Customer service was second to none. Called them up as they were one of the only companies we could find with availability and were led to believe that they had agreed to come on Saturday. Called on Friday to confirm... got no answer, called again later. The person told us he would check when he got back to the office. No phone call/email/anything. Saturday rolls around. No phone call. We called them multiple times, finally got a person. We were told that they didn't have us scheduled (which we apparently should have known since "if we didn't call you back and give you an estimate, we didn't schedule you", which we had never heard before) and they could maybe do it later in the week, like Thursday (have to be out of our place by 10/1, which is the next Saturday. Extremely Unprofessional, Unresponsive, Manipulative. Avoid at all Costs My Story: I booked this company for a two-hour trash removal service. The two gentleman that came showed up on time and did good work for the first hour and a half. When there was only a half hour left, they went downstairs and said they would come right back to get more of my trash. Ten minutes went by and I did'nt see them so I started calling them. No response. I then called the company office. The man who answered said that he would send them right back. It is two weeks later and I'm still waiting on them to come back and finish the rest of the job that I paid them for. Lol! I called the company office back a few more times but they must've eventually caught on that it was me calling and stopped picking up. Moral of the story. These guys are crooks. For the amount of money they charge, one would expect even the most basic level of professionalism. Dont' book them. There are much better moving companies in the area that will give you what you paid for. read more

2 weeks ago we moved and hired the only movers that we could find that were available, Grandson's Moving. They moved us 2 weeks ago Friday and it was not a good experience. They showed up at 11 o'clock, an hour later than they said they would. We have a small 3 bedroom house and it took 4 guys until 1:00 a.m. to move us to the new house in Loudonville. They left a mess of this green wrap stuff all over the house, they completely busted a piece of our furniture beyond repair and they also gouged a scratch as well as other holes in our wall. They told us to file a claim with the company, which consisted of writing them an email. They are refusing to answer my calls and texts as well as emails. Someone else called them on our behalf and they said they aren't going to do anything for us. They only take Venmo which should have tipped me off so I can't even file a claim that way. I am filing a report with the BBB and Attorney General as well as filing with small claims court. I just want to let others know so they can avoid using this shady company. read more

I wish I could not even give this one star. I don't care how desperate you are DO NOT use this company if you want any of your items to arrive in the condition it left in. They recommend I get a truck myself which now I realize they probably don't even have one. I took the day off of work had to wait at the U-haul rental for almost an hr before they showed up. Everything was wrapped by them and several blankets were provided. They are extremely unprofessional and do nit handle ANYTHING with care. They ripped the storm door completely off of the frame at my new house then I noticed that my dining table had a corner broken off, the rest of my furniture had gauges taken and scratched, broke knobs off of my sons dresser, AND broke my living room TV They tried hiding certain things but I began inspecting things which they had an excuse for everything not apologetic and even rude. They told me they only had time to do one trip because they had another move scheduled, which was a complete lie. If they showed up on time they might have finished but as the rest of the day became more of a nightmare rather then a helping in any aspect. So this left at the very least half of my belongings behind which was the why I rented a truck for one day and took one said of work. Even worse they left part of everything at the other apartment like pieces to my bed to put it together (which they are supposed to do) they took the legs off of the couches but left them, my son's mattress but not the frame, my bedroom tv but not the wall mount etc.. I said so clearly I can't even put my bed together? He said no they will run back to the other apartment. They had a EMPTY truck, which could have easily fit the rest of my belongings and just be finished. They took and hr to drive to a place 7 min away to ONLY bring the pieces to my bed I couldn't believe that was all the brought back. We couldn't even sit on our couch because again they left the legs. So again they said they were going back for them. I said NO because I have ti pay for the gas and any extra additional mileage on the truck. The guy that was the one in charge of this nightmare told me he was taking paying for the gas and mileage. Another hr returning with only my living room tv, which I did not want them to even touch, and no legs for the couch I was in shock that again they brought nothing. I was so embarrassed listening to them argue which I finally told them to stop. It's not a good way to enter your house while neighbors listen, needless to say professionally I couldn't believe they carried on like that. I began to feel very uncomfortable with 2 men in my house while it was just my son and I and 2 men that clearly had no respect for me. When he told me the price it was $200 more then the quote. He told me when they get back to the "office" they would be sending me an email with an invoice for $0 for when they come the next day to finish. Also he said he was sending me the information I needed so I could file an insurance claim on all of the items they broke. They clearly were not leaving if I didn't pay them. I had to use Venmo because they do not take cards.. They emptied the gas on the uhaul and I had to pay for that+ mileage they added another $150 to refill the tank, going over mileage and a fee for not doing so. Find ANYONE else to move you, these guys need to be stopped. I'm working with the attorney general and will still pursue civil action. They are on camera taking this truck to my other apartment EMPTY. read more
