The issue arose when the insurance company was changed and proper follow-up was not completed. I contacted the office more than 30 days ago to have the matter corrected. At that time, I was told that they had contacted the mortgage company and provided the required insurance information. However, approximately one month later, I received another letter from the mortgage company stating that there was no insurance coverage on the property. I contacted the office again and requested that, since they indicated they would be emailing the mortgage company, I be copied on the correspondence. When I received the email, it was sent only to me and not to the mortgage company. Additionally, it contained incorrect information: it referenced the wrong insurance policy and the wrong property. The information was being sent to the incorrect insurance company. Specifically, the house that does not have a mortgage was listed with policy information intended for the house that does have a mortgage. At that point, I simply wanted the issue to be properly handled and resolved by their office. However, in their response dated 12/15/2025, they did not state that they would take responsibility for resolving the matter. As a result, I no longer had confidence that the issue would be addressed correctly or at all. Due to these repeated errors, lack of follow-up, and loss of trust, the matter remained unresolved and ultimately led to the termination of a long-standing business relationship.

Went to sign the return and were told choose between the credit or their guarantee to stand behind their work. Chase cashed the check for $2300 and then took the money out of my account and closed down my entire personal checking account as if I wrote a fraudulent check. Great Expressions has called Chase several times to verify the check however they are saying they still cannot verify the check. Great Expressions is a large corporation and has not had one problem with anyone cashing their checks. I worked hard to pay for my braces and they issued me a refund of the money I paid them so I could go to a different orthodontist. Now I have had braces stuck on my teeth rotting out because I cannot pay to go to a different orthodontist now. Chase will not even return the money back to Great Expressions. That is theft and that is morally wrong. Never ever bank with Chase bank they are the ones that are scammers and do unethical fraudulent things. I've always wanted braces and I am 38 years old and now I can't even get them finished. I just want my money back. They said it was their policy that they did not have to return any money not even back to the check issuer. Wtf!
