My closing was really simple since I docusigned a lot of the documents with my bank, probably took like 15-20 mins to get through the rest of them in office. They advertise "title loans" but then try to dodge that label the moment you call them out for unethical behavior. They lure you in with claims of "fast cash, low payments, and flexible terms," but in reality, they trap people with sky-high interest rates, misleading paperwork, and vague contracts that are almost impossible to understand. After borrowing a small amount -- around $5,000 -- I made my first payment, and immediately they began sending harassing calls and emails, even to my family members who had nothing to do with the loan. They use scare tactics, threats of repossession, and relentless pressure, even when you're only a few days late or have already communicated your situation. They also send unauthorized people to your property -- unannounced -- sometimes taking photos or making you feel unsafe. When I asked for documentation and proof of what they were claiming, they either ignored me or sent incomplete, contradictory paperwork. Their "customer service" team is dismissive, rude, and completely unwilling to help or explain. What's worse: they continue to advertise title loans online and in store windows, even though their license type doesn't legally allow those under Florida law. That's false advertising and deception, plain and simple. It's clear they're banking on people being desperate enough not to read the fine print. Embassy Loans preys on working families and misleads consumers with fancy wording while hiding the reality -- unfair terms, intimidation, and violations of basic lending ethics.
