I got the number to this locksmith from Andy's Lock and Key because they do not make keys for VWs. I called professional Safe and Lock, and they scheduled me right away. Mark came out today and made me a key for my newly acquired car. He was on time, and very courteous. He got right to work after introducing himself, and we chatted for the less than 30 minutes he was here. He checked all the locks and made sure everyone worked, and even made me an extra key. This review is long overdue! Mark at Professional Safe & Lock is so professional, quick, caring, and probably has the largest stock I have seen. I was actually referred by another business to him, in an emergency case. His rates are reasonable even for same-day! He was a minute away to create a Lexus keyless car (even the dealer didn't have it in stock and wanted to order) when I found the fob. He was very quick, and I'll be going in to create a spare soon. Was the only guy I could find in town that could make and program a second key for my 2023. Price was less than half what Ford quoted for OEM. This was a generic option though, and you can definitely feel the difference in key build quality over just the logo. Panic alarm button is wildly sensitive and sounds off every day. He did offer an OEM option, that was nearly the same cost as through Ford. Super nice guys! Couldn't be happier with their friendliness and honesty. Will definitely use them again. read more

My son lost his keys Sunday afternoon, so naturally the first thing I did was jump on Yelp to search for Locksmiths. Luckily Yelp has a "Request a Quote" feature, which sends a message to the business with the information I entered for a quote. I then selected the option to send my quote request to other similar businesses. This additional option is where I received a message from Mark at Professional Safe and Lock. We needed a transponder key made for a newly purchased car. Mark suggested that if we wanted to save a service call fee, we should meet him at another call he was on in the area. Now, this is total honesty and a business professional who does not gouge his customers. Met with Mark at a tow company in Sparks. He made our key and then told us that he did not need to do a step in programming our key so the price would be cheaper than the initial quote. Who does this??? I had locked myself out of my room and didn't have the key. It was an outdoor lock so I couldn't unscrew it or use a credit card with the way the door is. It was important to get back into my room because my breathing machine is in there for night. But that means after hour prices. Mark came within 15 min. Unlocked the door, then made me replacement keys to the door and then helped me reprogram my old key fob to work on my new to me car! Bought a house & was pretty certain the previous owner kept copies of the keys...I know I sound paranoid, and I was--for a very good reason, but we won't get into that. Mark expediently responded to my request for a quote & provided seamless scheduling. He & his lovely apprentice, Brandy arrived promptly, & taught me about smart locks (not keypads, deadbolts). Mark came through anew the other week. We came home late on a Sunday and for some reason, the key would not unlock our front door. Good thing i had just put in Mark's number in my address book since he fixed our storm door just a few weeks back. As advertised, the guy is truly 24/7 available and while he forewarns you of extra charges for emergency times, he still finds a way to lower your bill after he comes to fix the problem. The locksmith Mark was absolutely amazing. A had to perform a lockout of a tenant but i live in san diego. Mark met the sheriff at apartment, took care of locks and saved keys for me to pick up.
