He was prompt on answering texts and great at communicating. No one else would touch my 2001 VW Bug. He made me a spare and followed up. Kind, professional and great at what he does. It's hard to find that now a days and I'm glad I gave him a shot! I will absolutely recommend him to others and use him in the future. read more

Please make sure to look at the screenshots of the text interaction. So I have been using this service for quite a few years. I've had over 10 keys made, and four remotes purchased from this guy. I have five kids, and every time we buy them a used car, we make sure we have a spare key made. We have also purchased remotes for some of the cars. We got a 2015 Ford fiesta and started the normal process where I sent pictures of the key and remote asking the price. There was a guy that texted me that said he was the new '' associate' named Roger working with Santiago. I asked the price, and it had gone up significantly. From the $40, up to $$120 plus. I was a bit put off, but post Covid This type of stuff happens. In the meantime, I put out a request on Yelp to have a key made, and there was another locksmith (locksmith 775 ) that was willing to meet with us and make the key for $50. So I text Roger back and let him know that I was getting it for way cheaper, and that , we would not be needing his service. He text back and as you can read the screenshots, was not a very nice person . After using them for so many years, because I didn't want to pay $240 for 2 keys, he said they were going to block me and that I wasted their time . I was able to leave a text with Santiago, and let him know that I was willing to keep doing business with them, as well as keep referring customers if they were going to remain low price. His response to me was they were going to change their focus to people who want. It really isn't wasting time hunting around for a good deal. That's part of business. So yeah, even if I wasn't blocked.... I would never use them. read more

Everything went smoothly, and the service itself was completed without any issues. The work was done efficiently, and the overall experience was positive from start to finish. The only reason I'm giving four stars instead of five is that the interaction could have felt a little more welcoming. A friendlier attitude would have made the experience even better. Aside from that small detail, I was satisfied with the quality of the service and would consider using this business again in the future. read more

Absolutely the best service I've ever had from a locksmith. What he needed to do to get this taken care of was completely unreasonable and he did it. Lockouts are emergency situations and he treated it as such and that is so important. Thank you so much again read more

Excellent service and super nice. I was very pleased with the service and would use them again.

I have enlisted the help of Roger from Low Price Keys twice now, and both times the service was amazing! The first time I needed 2 spare keys made for company vehicles. Roger was quick to answer and scheduled a time and location that was convenient. True to his words, he showed up at the agreed time and was friendly, professional, knowledgeable and efficient. He even helped oil my co-worker's key entry on his personal vehicle! When I asked what the additional cost was, he said not to worry. Now that's good service that he didn't need to provide. So I, of course, called him again when I needed help a second time. Same quality service, same professionalism, same excellent experience. If you need help, ask for Roger. Can't beat the price or the customer service. read more

Very courteous, reliable, professional and efficient. Priced right and will use again. Everything was explained and Roger was flexible with the actual date, time and place to meet up. If you need car keys, no need to spend twice as much at the dealership. Call Roger read more

This guy never responded to getting my expedition rekeys so I went with someone else . He then tells me sorry about that got busy if it happens again I'll do it for 140. Well it happened again I asked him about it and showed him the screenshot of him saying it and he says he just changed his policy and doesn't accept work from people that went elsewhere for the job. Haha dude you blew me off now you blew me off twice what is wrong with you? read more

Amazing, fast, super friendly service! This will be the only local locksmith I will use from now on!

I am so grateful that I was referred to Low Price Keys! After I lost my only fob, Roger made me two new ones at a very reasonable price. I called all around and they were the best price by a mile! Roger was quick to respond, and I was able to make an appointment within a day. Professional, quick, excellent service, and the keys are working perfectly. They even came with a one year warranty. I highly recommend Low Price Keys and have passed their information on to another friend who is looking to get a 2nd fob made. I will definitely be back if the need arises. read more

I needed a key made for my work van and called several locksmiths around Reno. Most didn't answer, and the couple who did either gave me the runaround about scheduling or just didn't want to take on the job. After missing an entire day of work without a solution, I was getting frustrated and a little worried. Then, I found Low Price Keys, which specializes in automotive keys and programming, and decided to call. The automated answer said a technician would call me back, which I didn't expect much from. But, before I could dial another number, my phone rang. Roger introduced himself and assured me that he'd have the key ready that evening. From the first call to holding the programmed key in my hand, it took just two hours. This was impressive, considering Roger was in South Reno at 5 p.m. while I'm in North Valleys (if you know the area, you know the traffic struggle!). His price was more than fair, especially given the level of professionalism, communication, and punctuality. I highly recommend Low Price Keys and Roger's service! read more

Roger that!! I was passing through town and realized I had lost/left my key to my tow vehicle behind at last campsite. I found Low Price Key, along with several others, on the Internet. After being hung up on, quoted absurd dollar amounts for one key, and blown off, I finally dialed the right company!! They always say "save the best for last" do yourself a favor and call Low Price Keys first!! Ask for Roger. I was so frustrated, turned around after driving for an hour, looking for someone to help, he told me to stay put, and he would come to me right away he was so professional, courteous, and was ready and willing to help me out within the hour. I felt like I had known him my whole life. I am so grateful! Thank you, Roger! You made my day!! read more

I can't recommend this company enough. Last July, I had a car key disaster when it broke off in my ignition. Feeling embarrassed, I initially called another company, only to realize they were trying to scam me by saying I needed to take my entire ignition out and quoted me over $700. Desperate, I turned to this company. Not only did they come to my rescue in less than five minutes, but they also took the time to warn me about the previous company, which was known for scams. Their professionalism and kindness stood out to me. The fact that they went out of their way to explain the situation and educate me was incredibly meaningful. It was a valuable lesson that I still think about often. Their exceptional service has led me to recommend them to all my friends and family. If I could give them more than five stars, I absolutely would! read more

We just finished a project with this company. I must say they were a delight to work with; they delivered exactly what we wanted on time and schedule. The waterfall feature they created for our small yard makes us feel like we are in Tahoe. They also spent a lot of detail on the pavers, and fire pit. We can't recommend them enough both Trent and Jacinto along with their crews made us feel important and that they wanted us to be happy with the finished product above all else. What a delightful company. I plan on using them again in the future. read more

I text on a Friday afternoon and the tech had my car done by 5pm. This is after he had to travel over an hour to get to me same day. I'm so appreciative for the service Roger provided, he was patient and figured out exactly what was going on and fixed it. Roger was very communicative and helpful. I couldn't of asked for a better experience in my time of despair. My system immobilizer engaged and my key fob was damaged. Roger replaced my fob and reprogrammed it. Easy peasy for him lol. read more

Santiago is a true hero. I lost my car keys at the WORST possible time and was stuck on a ranch, 2 hours north of Reno. Santiago responded to my frantic texts on a Saturday night and drove out on a Sunday (his day off) to rescue us. He was able to program me a brand new Suburu key fob for my 2015 Suburu Impreza on the spot. He had all the right equipment and his mobile set-up was impressively organized. I appreciated his kindness, professionalism, promptness, COVID safety, and fair pricing. He even offered to program my back-up fob the next time I'm in Reno (I live in CA). Thank you Santiago for the incredible customer service and kindness. Also, sorry for the sheep on your way out!! read more

Haven't had the work done yet but when I texted Santiago questions - he answered them all very quickly. Very good communication.

Santiago replied to my text in minutes about a quote and had a service scheduled the next day. Rodger showed up and was very helpful & completed the task fast and efficiently. $200 for a fob and for it to be programmed. Very fair & very reliable. read more

The place to go for expensive import keys at a fraction of the price! Santiago is extremely good at his job. I had a 2010 Audi that I had a working fob for but the hard key that came with the car didn't work on the lock cylinder on drivers door. Santiago cut me new hard keys and programmed them for less than a third of the cost of getting just a key for the vehicle at the dealership (read stealership), that doesn't include programming either. If you need keys for your Audi or other import vehicle with expensive keys, call or text Santiago first. Support local owned Veteran businesses! read more

Don't go to anyone else, this is your new key guy trust me. Fast, friendly and way cheaper than anyone else in town. Incredible work!

I lost my key fob at Circus Circus and had to call this company for help. As I explained the situation Roger kept cutting me off demanding I get to my vehicle before someone steals it. He said he was on his way but people usually don't turn in lost car keys. He said they go out to the parking lot to steal the vehicle and I had better get there fast. Just as I got to my car the panic alarm was going off and two nefarious characters were approaching my car hitting the button. My husband ran up to the guy with the key and he played it off like he was a good samaritan, the other took off running. We got our key and car back quickly because of Roger's knowledge of the area and common criminal behavior. So although I didn't actually need their services they saved me from a complete mess. Im from another state and had my purse, wallet, and gun in my trunk. A HUGE THANK YOU TO THIS COMPANY for excellent service and having integrity to help. Highly recommend!!!! read more

Santiago is awesome! He did a pair of programmed Mercedes Sprinter van keys years ago and he just made me a back up key fob for a 2024 Subaru Crosstrek. Roger did a great job making two keys for my Subaru Forester. Fast quality service and reasonably priced. Highly recommended.

After my man lost, gave away, or had my spare car keys stolen from a bar, I was sure I would be paying some outrageous sum to replace the key and the wireless fob. After searching around on Yelp, I came across Santiago. A few back and forth texts to confirm my car model and a meet up spot, and I found Santiago's van parked and waiting for me in a predetermined location. As he opened the sliding door, I found myself looking into a highly efficient, functioning office; undoubtedly as or more organized than a hippie living the #vanlyfe. He took my key, rolled his sliding stool to the workbench, and cut it within 5 minutes. He tested it out on my lock and in my ignition, and proceeded to reprogram a new wireless fob. He verified that everything worked, and gave me his card in case the old keys were recovered and I needed to program the old fob (which I learned can only be reactivated with all of the working fobs present), or in the case that again I trust my keys to a sloppy evening. Once he left, I received a text offering a 10% discount on my next service, and a link encouraging me to post a review. I am 99% sure that Santiago is a real human, but he operates with the efficiency of a robot that deserves to take our jobs. I paid less than $40 to have some peace of mind. I hope there is no next time, but if so, I will find this office on wheels! read more
