Anytime Locksmith/David saved me!! I got locked out of my house on a Saturday night at like 8:30 p.m. It turns out my back door has a safety latch that can only be locked from the inside - but my devil cats figured out how to flip it and completely prevent the door from opening! I had no idea it was even there. I guess it's good to know and now I'll use it but...it is not relaxing to be locked out, and I didn't have my phone with me - of course. Luckily, my very kind neighbors helped me out! They called two other locksmiths that profess to have 24-hour service. One went to voicemail and the other said 2-3 hours. Anytime Locksmith to the rescue! They said 15-20 minutes and I didn't keep track exactly but it was certainly very speedy! David found a flashlight in his car and we went around back - he couldn't get the door open either. So he opened my front door in a matter of minutes! (maybe I have to get better locks, hmmmm) He didn't open the door, just made sure it could open. My cats would have tried to make a run for it so this was a thoughtful and super helpful approach that I appreciated very much. The cost was reasonable (I mean it sucks to need it but well worth it!!) at $119. I think after 9 pm it would have been $129. Also reasonable. This company and their customer service is phenomenal. We locked ourselves out of our car at 4am and had a flight to catch. After calling multiple places this was the only company who could dispatch someone immediately (versus saying it would be a minimum of an hour) and to save time he generally found out where we were to dispatch his crew and then collected the info he needed! They came to the Virginia City Highlands with snow-covered roads (They were plowed, however), and unlocked our plow truck within 15 minutes. He wasn't in a big fancy 4x4 vehicle either. These guys answered the phone immediately, late at night. I described the problem to them - my remote key fob and the physical key itself would not open my Honda vehicle. This apparently was a side effect of a recent repair on my car door, the original problem being that the door would not open from the inside's door latch (which was from a broken cable.) The locksmith who showed up worked diligently and resourcefully and finally was able to get me into my Honda. He showed up earlier than promised, was polite and professional, and quite chatty about the technical details of what he was doing, which was very interesting and useful to me as an engineer. I called and the man I spoke with was very friendly. The price was inflated because of it being almost 3:00 AM, but I couldn't leave my car parked at the gas pump all night and everywhere else would have been more expensive than this. I'd love to have written a review about Anytime's service, but unfortunately I can only write a review based on the fact that Anytime refused my business, and quite rudely. After contacting them to see if the could reprogram a key fob for me, I was told that my make and model of car was "a real pain", and that he "didn't want to do it". I'm all for businesses conducting themselves as they see fit, and I can understand a locksmith not being able to reprogram a certain make of vehicle (another locksmith informed me that they did not reprogram my make, and was perfectly nice about it). However, making it seem like you don't want to deal with a potential customer because their circumstances are "a real pain" may not be the best way to go about running your business. Please, take your business elsewhere. I made the mistake of calling Shay to unlock my car and while the task was completed, I was disrespected. When I made this public by writing a Google review yesterday after the incident, Shay proceeded to personally contact me and harass me via text. I've attached a screenshot of our conversation, and the original review below. I will be personally contacting the Better Business Bureau about the incident.
