I contacted Carl Nicosia of 775-Locks last night informing him that I couldn't open the door which leads from my home into the garage. He said that he would try to find a matching latch and arrange to come out the next day after 12 noon assuming he can find the right part. This morning, I woke up to a major flood in my garage due to the all night constant downpour of rain. Carl text me that he can get the part but probably wouldn't be able to get it until the next day. I informed him of my major flood and that I needed a way to get the door unlocked so that I can rid of the water that was coming from a bathroom (due to a roof leak) and seaping underneath the door with the broken latch into the garage. I told him that we can delay on the lock but if he could help me at least get the door opened, that would be helpful. Carl arrived within an hour and also found the right part for me. He was VERY professional, knowledgeable (even knew about the special French door locks we had) and most of all VERY personable. He was done with the job within 30 min, if that. What a great experience overall! I gave Carl a call on Saturday around noon because I wanted to get a deadbolt re-keyed to match the key for my front door. Carl answered right away and gave me the option to drop by his house to have the work done or to have him come out to our house. I decided to bring it to him (to save on the $60 service call) and he re-keyed the deadbolt in less than 10 minutes for $15. WOW! This was one of those pesky little projects around the house that I've been avoiding, but Carl made the entire process and task beyond easy. Only 775-Locks could arrive within 40minutes (the fastest) while providing the best quote (no bogus fees like "$90 to come and assess and an additional $50 to open the lock". 775-Lock's quote was at least 50% less than everyone else).
