I placed an order that was standard stocked but was not listed as back ordered. Waited 3 weeks, called customer service to be informed it would be 5 more weeks until shipping. It was a time-sensitive project so I cancelled the order with customer service. Then I get an email with a shipping confirmation. Called customer service, they were 'it would be great if you can use this product' , but will charge you a 25% restocking fee to send back. Reluctant to do this as I have zero confidence I would get the remainder of my refund. Save yourself the frustration, find a different vendor. read more

Absolutely horrible and finally getting around to leaving a review, I paid extra for faster shipping and it took HALF A YEAR to ship. It took so long I assumed the order was cancelled and sent multiple emails and never got a reply and when I called was told I will get a call back and never did. Worst company experience I have ever had. The two way acrylic mirror is horrible quality as well and arrived heavily warped and nearly useless. I tried making it work but it's just absolute junk. Extremely unreliable experience with my sales rep. Was told my order would be ready between 5-10 business days and after the 10th day I had to reach out to them and ask for an update at which time the salesman apologized for the misinformation and told me 3 weeks lead time for my order. So I gave them the benefit of the doubt and here I am going into the fifth week since I process my order and it's still not ready and apparently no one can get a hold of anyone who has any type of positive information as to where my order is or why it is taking as so long. read more

I recently began working with Professional Plastics in December of 2020. It's not even March and I'm done. Terrible customer service. My emails to my sales rep Ron are ignored for months at a time. When I call to follow up on my ignored emails my rep is extremely rude and tells me that he will no longer honor what he agreed to in December. In December I engaged in a blanket purchase order for 70 rolls of Mylar. 20 to be sent immediately and the other 50 on demand at a later time. My first order was delayed and received a month after it was supposed to be "expedited" to me. I of course paid for the expedited service that was not expedited. My rep advised me a month later after finally responding to my email that they sent it to him and not directly to me. I asked if he could remove the expedited fee and he stated he would discount my next order. Then they send me product I didn't order in early February and there is no discount. I reached out via email to confirm a couple things. One, why they sent it when I did not order it and two, are they going to hold the others like we discussed previously. That email was ignored, again so I called today. As soon as I got on the phone before I could say anything Ron stated "yeah, you want me to give you a discount for something that was delivered a day late and I cant do that." I told him that wasnt even why I was calling but we could get into that if he wanted to as that was not what his month late email said. Anywho, I asked him about our agreement to hold product until I ordered it. He said "oh yeah that was a mistake from our warehouse. I said OK and that was that but then he said "I also cant hold things for a year, thats crazy." BRUH, its been two months. And just so everyone is clear Im spending 6K or more per order with this guy. Obviously they cannot honor their own terms and the way I was spoken to today was atrocious. I told him immediately to send us our final order, discounted or not and that we would pay but that we would fulfil our needs elsewhere and that his conduct was poor. He responded with "Im sorry you think my conduct was poor? Not an apology... Deuces Professional Plastic. That's why you have a low 3 star consumer rating. read more

Review for Denver Location - it's been a while since I placed an order with these guys and I keep meaning to write a review! I had an interesting experience with Professional Plastics. I placed my order, was notified it was ready, drove the 35-45 minutes to the place to pick it up. Got there and the order wasn't even close to ready. About now you are asking - did you mess up your score? No. Five. Ten out of Five. The first guy admit its not ready, offers me coffee while I wait (mind you, this is a warehouse, no reception area, nothing. Offers me coffee, water, anything? Another person joins the first and they find and pull the order. The headquarters apparently does this to them on a regular basis. They made it clear I would be picking up my order that day. Another person came back and told me the order was being made. All of the conversations were kind, cordial, friendly. The order was made ready in I don't know, 20-30 minutes? (reasonable amount for the order), another person comes and tells me to back my truck in to the bay. The order comes out, and the guy says "Hey do you want a piece of cardboard to put under this in your truck?" It was absolutely impossible to be mad or impatient or .... to anything but like every person I met there. They were all SO nice. They seemed like a great team. They all had great personalities you just wanted to do business with. Order from them again? Absolutely - I would just call the warehouse before heading out. I hope headquarters knows they have a winning team in the Denver warehouse. read more

Just A Garage Project Guy Today, 03-17-22, I was working on a garage project at home and went to Professional Plastics in Fullerton, California to get information on materials for my project. When I got there, the receptionist was very polite and helpful. I explained to her what I wanted for my project and she connected me with Angela E. and Mike N. to get further assistance. Both Angela and Mike were extremely knowledgeable on the materials they had at Professional Plastics that will work perfectly on my project. But what was shocking was the fact that they took the time to talk to me and educate me on the various options available to complete my project. I am just a guy tinkering around in my garage and decided to make a device to make my life a little easier. Angela and Mike did not let that deter them, they still took the time to educate and help me. It was a great relief to meet someone who really cared about customer service and helping anyone that walked through the door. It was a pleasant experience talking them and I thank them for educating me and helping me make an informed decision as to the products to use on my project. I understand increased demand and shortages due to the epidemic, but this does not excuse repeated lying to a customer. When I placed my order in late May, they told me 2-3 weeks delivery. Two weeks ago, they promised that it would be "cut and shipped" in 2-3 days. Today they say there are other orders that were placed 6 weeks ago that they haven't gotten to yet, so I just have to wait my turn. I am going to cancel and order locally. read more

I was on my lunch break so I decided to drive a few blocks and just walk in. Receptionist greeted me nicely. I explained to her I need to make a prototype of something I have in mind. In a couple of minutes I was greeted by one of their sales rep Bradley. He was nice, courteous and very helpful. He told me that they have another facility at Santa Ana and that they may have some remnant pieces for me to sample. Their central phone kept on ringing so they probably have a lot of customers but they still managed to speak to me. If you plan to come over, it's probably a good idea to call for an appointment. That way they have somebody available for you for sure. I'm probably just lucky. Despite being over there for only a few minutes, their customer service is awesome. read more

Horrible service. I put in a test order for 5 pieces of Lexan to see how well they performed before I tied up the real order for 50 pieces. Good thing, because they couldn't fill even a simple order. After 2 weeks of waiting, with no communication, no response to my emails, no response to my phone calls, I finally got through to someone and was able to cancel my order. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!! I called to place a sizeable order for acrylic risers. The person who answered the phone very rudely and abruptly told me they no longer take phone orders and I would have to email or fax it in. I live nearby the company and started to ask if I could come in to place the order in person to save on shipping and/or view the product before buying. He cut me off mid-sentence and very oddly and unprofessionally said 'I have to GO!'. I immediately called back, with the intent of asking for a manager, the same person answered and again cut me off saying 'I HAVE TO GO". Very odd experience. I almost worried he was tied up or being held hostage or something. I tried to call back several times after only to go into voicemail. It was 9:00 am so someone should have been available to take the call at the height of business hours. Needless to say I will NOT be dealing with this company ever again and highly recommend anyone else doesn't either!! read more

I could have gotten that information off of their website. That was the reason I visited them in person. It contained nothing about what we had discussed. Apart from a 2 day delay processing the order the panels came very well packed and exactly as expected.
