I stop by here for the kid's workshop for my child. They always have these set up every first Saturday near the parking lot of inside the store (hot days). The associates are always nice when handing out the workshop kits to take home or work on there. They grill, fridge, stove, and lights section are vast and a kid's dream to roam around. They have seasonal items placed for you to test out, which Christmas is my favorite since Home Depot has the best decorations. The Gardening section is huge and has lots of selections from seeds and plants to gardening tools and pots. read more

$14,000 including permits for this. This is for the home renovation department of Home Depot. Lies, shoddy work, poor communication, pressure tactics. This project started in April and was supposed to take 2 days. It's September now. Three times the plumber didn't show within the scheduled time frame. I took time off from work and my time means nothing to them. They pressured me to sign off after the inspector approved everything and it still leaks. The video is my bathroom today. There's too much to write and explain I'm overwhelmed. read more

Okay, listen -- I walked into the Home Depot on Katella in Orange expecting the usual "DIY but you're on your own" vibes... and instead got a full‑blown Labor Day miracle. The pros in the lumber/paint area didn't just help me cut canvas frame pieces -- they basically adopted my project. We're talking: Measuring like they were prepping for an Olympic event Helping me pick the most cost‑effective wood without making me feel cheap Guiding me through tools that looked wildly excessive for one tiny art project And when the tool list started sounding like I was about to build a small house, they didn't upsell me -- they sent me to the Home Depot rentals at the Tustin location to get exactly what I needed. Respect. Maybe it was the holiday. Maybe the DIY gods were smiling. I'm not asking questions. I'm just grateful. Home Depot Katella team -- thank you for going above and beyond. You made one artist's chaotic little project actually happen. read more

I ordered a washer and dryer and they said it would be delivered. I've waited all day and still nothing. I called and said could be delivered as late as 8pm. I asked can you call the driver and find out where they are and they said no. It gets there when they do. I would have rathered just taken the appliance myself. Waiting all day and can't give me a time or anything is ridiculous. It's after 530pm and ive been waiting all day. I called and got transferred to someone. They left the call and a female got on and claimed he had to run and stop a pallet from falling over. I said no one is going to jump in front of a pallet from falling over. She said there is photos. Thensaid the morning manager at 10/07/26 will have pics. I had to call OSHA saying there was work place issues. I use to work in a place with OSHA. But over all no one could explain why my delivery never happened. read more

It's Tuesday and I'm back already. YAHIR offered great customer service ya hear me?! I got a Venus flytrap and another tomato cage. This location has a plethora of pots for gardening. All sizes. It's also the only location I've been able to find large cages for my tomatoes. Their Gardening Center seemed immaculate. I didn't find dust anywhere that I visited. I even picked up two little cute yellow cactuses. Never thought I'd own a cactus, but I bought two! The store is large, so I'm sure you'll find what you need. And the staff is great. I can't remember his name but on Monday night he was the only one working the gardening section. I want to say his name is Neal or something close to that. He was very helpful!! read more

Tucked in the end of the street with big parking lot. Clean, spacious and airy. Friendly & very helpful staff. Got my stuff with plenty of selection and choices from different companies and from reasonable to slightly high prices to pick from. Easy checkout since I used self checkout. Customer service was pleasant. Karen was very knowledgeable of this home depot. I asked about a specific tool and she directed me to the exact location of the product. My product was locked up and required me to scan a QR code to request for help. The only reason I gave this a 4 star rating was because receiving service seemed to be pretty slow for the amount of individuals who were in Home Depot buying products. I felt I could have been helped much quicker. read more

Go to Home Depot to fulfill any and all home renovation or design needs. There is only one wrinkle with meeting those needs though: Home Depot Orange Tabby Cat. Imagine being in a panic trying to find that one sink design, pipe, lock, or power strip, and then seeing a tabby cat deep in a state of blissful peace. Do rugs matter? Does the sky? Not to Home Depot Orange Tabby Cat. Home Depot is aware of Home Depot Orange Tabby Cat. The attention is not reciprocated. This cat does not know the meaning of home improvement. Try asking it what aisle cabinets are on. Tabby cat will not know on purpose. Home Depot Orange Tabby Cat is the best staff member at Home Depot. This cat values a Zen state of detached becoming. Wait in line, if desired. Home Depot Orange Tabby Cat will not give a bleep. I bought a power strip. Home Depot Orange Tabby Cat was too busy making its own energy to notice. I cannot believe I rely on electricity. Home Depot Orange Tabby Cat devotes its life to being its own light source unlike the EXIT sign I passed on my way out. read more

I had the pleasure of shopping there today and their associate Adam, was in the garden section and I asked where the sand was. He walked me to the location and loaded the cart and then he offered to have someone help load in my car. He was running cash register and nobody showed to help so he helped me load my car with a smile! And thanked me for coming in. It's customer service like this that makes me want to shop at a store! I visited recently to purchase some new plants and the cashier/worker at the garden section, Iliana, was wonderful. She took the time to answer all of my questions, gave me some facts about plants they had in current stock and made great recommendations. I really appreciated the amazing customer service, thank you! read more

I usually come to this HD to get my plants, even though its out of my way. The garden department staff know their stuff and always gave me good advice. I went this past weekend and it has changed. The older lady and gentleman that usually work there were gone, and no one knew what I was talking about or seemed to care at all. I was so disappointed, I hope they didn't leave this location, they were both great. read more

Make use of their curbside pickup if you can. Like most homeowners, we have been to Home Depot many, many times, sometimes to pick up a specific item, but other times to just browse for inspiration. As I've gotten older, it has become less interesting to me (mainly as I've found that I'm just not as good as contractors who can do it faster and with a far greater professional finish). But as we start on a reno for our bathrooms, we've made great use of their website and mobile app to browse, choose, and pay for bathroom fixtures. For the things that are located further away and could be transported without a truck, we have been picking them via our car. One of those things is a medicine cabinet with lighted mirror, which my wife ordered through the mobile app. It showed that the closest one for quickest pickup was in Orange, which is why we drove down here on a Friday afternoon. Just like a Chili's, there are numerically marked parking spots near the handicapped spots in the parking lot. My wife had let this Depot know that we were coming, and once we arrived, we typed in the parking spot number that were at. Sure enough, in under 5 minutes, Nathan showed up with the packaged mirror and helped me put it in our hatchback. My wife showed him her ID, and that was it. We were on our way. Great experience, for no additional charge. read more

Urgent: Unprofessional Treatment by Supervisor Marisol - Orange, CA (Katella Street Location) Dear Home Depot Customer Service, I am writing to report an extremely unprofessional and frustrating experience I had at your Orange, California location on Katella Street, involving Supervisor Marisol. I came to the store to return a vacuum cleaner I purchased using Apple Pay. I had my receipt, but when we tried to process the return back to Apple Pay, the system repeatedly displayed "canceled," which was odd. I then told Marisol that since the purchase was made with a debit card, she should simply give me cash back. Instead, she told me, "We can't do that." I asked her what I was supposed to do then, since I no longer needed the vacuum--I had already purchased a larger shop vac to replace it. Marisol flat-out said there was "nothing she could do," which is incorrect. If an item is purchased with a debit card, the refund should be issued as cash. What would happen if I lost my debit card and had to cancel it? In that situation, the only option would be cash, but she still refused. Her dismissive and unprofessional attitude was unacceptable. As a licensed general contractor who spends thousands of dollars at Home Depot, I expect to be treated with basic respect and to receive accurate information regarding your return policy. Instead, I was made to feel as if my business didn't matter. Because of this experience, I will never shop at this location again unless this situation is addressed. I demand a response from upper management regarding this matter. No loyal customer should ever be treated this way. Thank you for your prompt attention to this issue. read more

I'm a fan of this Home Depot location. I always find everything I need, and the staff is usually pretty friendly as well. I recently ordered some items online, and found out I could pick them up curbside at this location. Since both items were too large for me to pick up, I'm so glad I could have them brought to my car. When both items were ready, they emailed me a message. I guess great minds think alike because this store was so crowded when I got here. I pulled up to a curbside spot and texted the store. Within minutes, someone brought the packages directly out to me. Although the salespeople aren't always as helpful inside, the gentleman who helped me load both boxes was friendly and helpful. I really this store for it's convenient location and helpful staff! read more

Was being profiled as soon as I came in. Was looking to purchase flowers for my garden and the person insisted that I needed to pay for the flowers right then even though I told him there was still stuff I needed to purchase inside. Thank God this place has Damon! Pre ordered got there a lil early. I asked him while waiting in preorder pick up/ return line I'm here a little early app said 2hrs eta... he said wait in line and let them know. I asked an elderly Caucasian Gent that I'm a lil early, then a middle age Hispanic lady chimed in we came to the conclusion I should go get my own product. They sent me in my Mary way rather than getting an additional associate (younger Hispanic lady standing there appearing ti be doing nothing) to personal assist, on my way I asked Christian where chainsaws were. This review is for Todd at Home Depot #615 on Katella Ave in Orange. About a month ago we came in needing assistance with a little project - creating our own water misting device for a camping trip. Todd was immediately very enthusiastic about our project and went out of his way to help us figure out what parts we needed to complete the misting system. His customer service was really Above & Beyond what I expected. As a result of Todd's help, we had a nice little misting setup at our campsite! We probably would have given up on the idea otherwise. Thank you Todd!! read more

Store had everything I needed. The employees were nice especially Tony who helped me pick out a drill! He was quick and knowledgable!

I was in the paint section today. Picking up primer cause I had some other things i needed. Normally I go to paint stores for paint. Since it was primer it was negotiable. We all know everything has gone up in pricing. But somethings like "primer" has not changed. There is no new formula, or fancy can. It has one purpose, to make sure my new finish adheres. I asked for a manager of that dept to see if I could get a discount on it since it was 60.00 a gallon (normally 19.00-26.00) a gallon. Well I politely asked if there was a dept head of paint that I could speak too. A young guy answered by saying what do I need. Well I would like a discount in this material since I know I can get elsewhere for less. This young buck said, then go there. Then he continues to say, we are in a crisis man. And I asked, what kind of crisis are you taking about? He responded with an adult use and said, a midlife crisis. All the while with his phone in his hands. I don't know about Home Depot's Management. But if one of my subs told A customer to go elsewhere, he would be going elsewhere. I told the kid, I would never talk to a customer like that. Shook my head and walked away. The orange Home Depot in my experience has too many people standing around and not doing a job. I'm hoping management sees this and goes through checking on peeps that are standing around. I've seen it many times. Went down the street to Dunn-Edwards got a 9.00 per gallon discount and spent $535.00. Unbelievable to lose that kind of money because of an attitude. That paint dept will never get my business again. Oh I also have a pro account. Licensed. read more

I have to write a review about the Home Depot Christmas Tree Lot this year. As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, my husband and I wanted to celebrate the holiday season early, so we got our tree the day after Thanksgiving. So I came here to find good lights for my outdoor wedding. I came in to just browse potential options. After I entered the lighting department I was impressed with how quickly a person came to assist me. He could tell that I needed help and I was very lost with what I wanted to do. What I loved is how the man asked me what my "vision" is. He then walked me around the store to show me the proper extension cords, hooks, posts, etc that I would need for this dream to become a reality. Then he went over to the string lights and compared ALL the options. Gave me pros and cons with every kind and I greatly appreciated it! I initially walked in without the intention to buy anything until I get a better plan. With his help I was able to buy some lights and the extension cord today. I really appreciate everything and I'll definitely come back for more help! read more
