Ended up buying roundup in a Hudson sprayer type of bottle with a pump and spray nozzle. Along with a refill concentrate bottle of Ace brand weed killer to add some of to the roundup making a higher concentration solution. I've been shopping here for over 25 years, before they opened this location they used to be located off Santa Ana canyon, west of weir canyon in the festival center. Good prices, knowledgeable staff, and fairly large selection. I'll be back.

Hehe I had such a pleasant time here. They only have a few brands of teeny tiny paint sample cards (I collect them to use as bookmarks or affirmations to tape on my mirror, etc). I've always liked Lowe's, and we came here specifically for some fall flowers. Not necessarily fall colors, just some color for the patio. We saw some plants we liked, but most were already fully bloomed. They were pretty, but we wanted something that would last a little longer. We did find one plant we liked and were going to buy, along with some soil, but the soil bags were so dirty we didn't want to touch them. The bags on top appeared ripped, soil was all over the place, and you could tell they hadn't been cleaned since the last rain. Since we like to get everything in one place, we left and went to another "home" store closer to home, found exactly what we wanted, and even found a healthier plant. I'm not giving up on Lowel's, as they had some bathroom vanities I liked for when that remodel happens, but it was a little disappointing. Oh, did I mention they have clothes? Weird!

Literally the worst customer service experience I've had…read more I went in to return a few items. I didn't have my card with me, but I did have my receipt. I requested cash back for the return, and the cashier told me they couldn't do it because they didn't have cash in the register and would have to get it from the back. I asked if they could get it, and instead I was told to go to a different store. I asked to speak with a manager, and as the manager was coming over, the cashier suddenly started processing my cash refund. I didn't come in upset, but that situation was frustrating because they lied, instead of simply trying to help. When I spoke with the manager, Jason, he was being dismissive instead of trying to understand the situation. He kept repeating, "Well, you have your money, right?" rather than addressing the service. I asked for a business card or contact information for someone above the store level, and I was told they didn't have anything available. One that's unprofessional. Two I don't know if that was true. My issue wasn't the return itself. I got my money back. My issue was the lack of professionalism and the way the situation was handled. Good customer service means communicating honestly and treating customers with respect. I understand retail can be stressful, but being rude or dismissive only makes a simple situation worse. They were being rude and egging me on of course I'm gonna be upset.

Soil can often be messy, with bags ripped open, etc. And after a rain, it's even worse. The rows and pile of bags almost look like they were cleaned off. The garden center doesn't have self-checkout (thankfully), and the person who checked us out was super friendly and helpful.
