I have to say, this Costco location in Fullerton really impressed me. From the moment I pulled in, everything felt smooth and easy. Parking was quick, traffic flow wasn't chaotic, and getting in and out of the lot was honestly stress-free--which is rare for Costco. Inside was just as efficient. I grabbed what I needed without dealing with overwhelming crowds, and checkout was a breeze. An employee came up, scanned my items, had me scan my membership, and I was done in no time. Super convenient. I've been to the Garden Grove location before, and that experience was the complete opposite--driving around forever just trying to find parking was enough to make me leave. This Fullerton location felt like a completely different world. No anxiety, no hassle, just in and out. Overall this location made the whole shopping trip easy and pleasant. 915 am, Sunday, January 18, 2026 Hmmm, arriving just past opening hours for Executives. I parked, grabbed the nearest shopping cart and headed toward the entrance... No queue of folks, they're already inside! This is the sweet spot. Oof, I had a full shopping list today. Look out for Hot Buys starting this week. I believe I saw some items that were on clearance and had to take advantage of the mark downs. If the item is on sale, then I'm taking two if it's a commonly purchased item. I grabbed two cases of LA Croix, $2.30 off each. I also grabbed a tray of Mama Mancini's large Meatballs in marinara as it was the last day of the Warehouse Savings for January. So much for being efficient this morning! I circled back to grab a bag of KS Shelled Pistachios and then went to the cooking oils. Crossing the warehouse more than once is not how to get out of here quickly! Haha... I have warehouse layout confusion... I couldn't find the chips! Sooooooooo crowded! Man, it was so busy. Tons of people at the store yesterday. It made it hard to walk through the isles. I love the free samples, but people will block the path to walk. Maybe make a path please? Don't block everyone from moving around you. It took twice as long to do my shopping, just because of rude people. That isn't against the store though. We started at member service to sign up. I've had a membership in the past, but it has been a while. I stood in the membership services line for a while. It was slow. Finally got to the front, and it took a good 20 minutes to get everything situated. There was an issue and the manage had to come over to help. Eventually, got it all situated, and we were on our way. We found some great things here. Looking forward to saving money by buying in bulk. They also have Halloween stuff out right now! It's the cutest. Costo has a great selection of items. It is a good value if you factor in the price per pound or ounce. Maybe we will go at a different time, to beat the crowds. read more

Went to the Fullerton location to look for a cellphone for my girlfriend. Struck out with the cellphone but took care of my Costco run while we there. Good prices, nice selection, and reasonable lines. Parking is tough at most Costco locations and Fullerton on a Saturday had numerous people circling the lot looking for a spot. We lucked out and found a parking place after just a few minutes of looking. BTW the Fullerton location usually has the best price in orange county for gas, but be prepared to wait in line for a pump. read more

I wanted to use my shop card during checkout, but I wasn't sure why it wasn't applying. I usually use it at self-checkout without any issues, but I've only recently started using the shop card and mobile app, so I'm still learning how it works. Because of that, I was genuinely confused and just asked the cashier (YALDA) for help. From the start, her attitude came off as annoyed and dismissive. She told me it should apply automatically if it's turned on, which it was, but I still wasn't seeing it go through. I tried to explain that I always use it at self-checkout and wondered if maybe it was because she scanned the physical card instead of the app barcode. She immediately dismissed that idea and kept insisting it should just work, but her tone felt rude and unhelpful. I wasn't upset--I was just trying to figure out what was going wrong since I knew I had money on the card. Being new to using the app, I was simply looking for guidance, but instead I felt like I was met with hostile energy. At that point, I asked if I could cancel the transaction and go to self-checkout instead. She loudly called out "void" in a way that felt unnecessarily harsh and annoyed, which made the situation even more uncomfortable. Another employee came over, and I explained the issue again. Eventually, they tried scanning the app barcode like I had suggested--and it worked. That confirmed there actually was a reason it wasn't applying. Overall, I'm disappointed with the experience. Costco Hearing Aid Center The time finally came to make the decision to purchase hearing aids. I have had many professional audio tests by my medical provider and have been told that I should get hearing devices for both ears. The providers affiliated hearing center told me several years ago that I was looking at spending around $3K for a pair back then. Just this last week I stopped by Costco on Harbor Boulevard in Fullerton, CA. I got an appointment for just two days later. The technician, her name was Hang, explained everything perfectly and what she would be doing every step of the way. The actual hearing test was very thorough and may have been have even been superior to the other's that I have had done by professional audiologists. Well after the testing and setting up a demo pair on the spot for my testing right then. I was COMPLETELY CONVINCED that my time and source of purchase were correct. One week later I returned to pick up my new hearing aids. Hang, did some pre-sets and miscellaneous adjustments , explained all of the adjustments, warranties, fitting, services, and what I could expect to experience with them in the future. NOTE: Costco technicians are Costco employees and are NOT on commission. I definitely have improved my quality of life. My family can't believe the difference that has been made, no more having to repeat over and over. The TV went from a volume of 30 to 18. Spoke with a representative from the store for a black stone grill that I was looking to purchase same day for my corporation. I was told there were 5 in stock and there would be no issues with me coming in to pick up. Upon arrival, they were not on the display floor so I asked somebody and was informed that they were on the highest rack of the store. Instead of taking the time to get it down, they required me to come back and get it tomorrow. I got injured by the cashier lines and not a single employee of the five standing around supervising the register lines asked if I was OK, if I needed an ice pack or assisted me at all. I got to the register and I'm in tears and not even the cashier acknowledged me. I had to limp the whole way to my car. Someone should have offered me an ice pack and offered to get a motorized scooter for me so I could at least go to my car in less pain. The employees were too caught up gossiping and talking amongst themselves to do their job. Absolutely embarrassing and unacceptable behavior. Poor service. The meat department at the Fullerton Costco is ripping customers off! I purchased a 6 pound beef roast here last week and literally trimmed 1 pound of fat from the roast. This amount of fat should never be left on a lean cut of meat like this. I paid $7.99 a pound for pure fat! The meat cutters are more than likely intentionally leaving extra fat on their cuts of meat to boost their gross margins. Getting to this Costco location can be brutal due to the parking lot, which can get clogged due to its in-demand gas station, a nearby In-N-Out, an Amazon Fresh, and an AMC movie theater. I even tried going 30 minutes before it closed in the middle of the week to avoid the crowd and it was STILL packed. On the bright side, it does sometimes offer products I don't see at other Costcos, such as Chinese soup dumplings or other niche ethnic foods. The employees are nice from what I've experienced, and the store is well kept overall. My true rating is 3.5 out of 5, but Yelp doesn't allow for half stars, so I'm dropping it down to 3 out of 5 due to the traffic alone. If you are looking for croissants, eggs, milk, cheese, meat, etc this is the best place to get it. I love the rotisserie chicken which is so affordable. Basing my review off of today's experience. I had all my items barcodes face up (11 items) to make it super easy and convenient for the cashier and so he didn't havent to lift any item to scan. Upon at the checkout, i said i have all the barcodes up (with a smile) and he says "too much". And im like oh. No other words spoke. There isn't a Costco in Buena Park/Anaheim, and I think the next closest is in Norwalk. Let's just say this location gets crowded easily. You can find it behind the Banh Mi store. Swung by this Costco for the gas station! Upon entering, it was very confusing to navigate to the back of the line for the gasoline section. They have an extended queue line that goes on for much longer than is seemingly necessary. My boyfriend and I had arrived to the Costco around 7:38, and there was a very short line for the gas. It is the cheapest gas in the area according to gas buddies, so that's a big plus! The gas service station only has 2 gasoline pumps instead of the 3 to 4 that some of the newer locations have, so the wait time felt a little long. Gas line here is ridiculous. I waited almost 1 1/2 hours on a Thursday night last month. Because the 1st pump was only premiere gas. They should've had a sign somewhere. Didn't realize til we were about in line and no way to get out. Really ridiculous. So i deduct a star. For the Gas madness. If i had known that only one pump was for regular gas. I went to the Costco on 900 S Harbor Blvd to fill up my rental car. The car did not start again after shutting off the engine. No one felt inclined to help until I ran into a Costco employee (Jason) who worked in tire services. Jason tried using his personal battery charger, but when that didn't work, he drove his truck to the gas pumps to jump start the rental. Good deeds are never a big deal when good people are performing them but it was definitely a big deal to us. This review will get lost in the ether and Jason will never hear about it but hopefully this will just be a reminder that people will still go out of their way to help. read more

Before I begin - this review is rating the sushi/poke and Costco ONLY. Second, what am I doing buying sushi/poke from a grocery store-like place? Sometimes you just have that craving/itch and you get desperate. To reaffirm - this is comparing quality to other grocery store sushi options (not sushi restaurants). The Costco sushi is absolutely the worst supermarket sushi I have ever tasted. I love Costco but man everything that could go wrong went wrong. The rice was hard, the fish was fishy and disgusting tasting. The poke was passable but definitely way too salty. I don't know if it's worth giving it another try in the future - maybe they were just having an off day? I gave it two stars because the price is reasonable for the portion.
