I was not ready to relive the emotions again. How dare you ! I was going to keep other details out , but why don't I share them. The day of my wedding which was that weekend , I was getting bombarded with phone calls because apparently they lost my credit card information . They were desperate to get a payment. Payment I couldn't make the day this all happened because the power went out. My husband had to take the calls and explain to you we were on a plane trying to get to our wedding destination. Hours from getting married, all you could do is call non stop to collect a payment. It's not my fault everything was handled so poorly on your end. I was nothing but nice and kind to everyone at the salon. Money was never the issue. It's clear to me now you portray to be a high end salon when in reality your actions show that you have no clue how to treat your customers nor are trained to handle this kind of situation. I feel for your employees. Why don't you invest in a course for your management/ owner . You truly need it. I'm done with your nonsense and not taking responsibility for all your mistakes . Hope you follow my advice.

BEWARE of reviews from the other (unaffiliated) Halo Salons-double check the location. I think…read moreyou'll find the negative reviews are not the Fort Collins/Loveland salons. All the more reason I felt I need to do a review of my favorite hair salon and color specialist. This is looooong over due! I have been a client for a couple of years now, and a blonde all my life, so this is a WELL INFORMED REVIEW. Finding someone (even at high end salons) that can return my locks to the NATURAL looking blonde of my youth has been A LOT of trial & error; ending up either looking like a spotted leopard when my hair was pulled back (due to bleeding) or a bleach bottle blonde (due to overlapping) after a few cycles. Even if they could get it right the first time, being CONSISTANT was another thing. Dawn has DEFINITELY been consistent and my hair. My hair has literally never been healthier. If you can't get in with Dawn you're still in luck, because on top of the training the stylist come in with, Dawn provides each of her stylists with additional one-on-one training on her techniques. I love this because EVERYBODY wins!

I won't return.

I love Aveda products! It's a cool looking salon and there always seems to be at least a couple customers there. There's no way to book online. Their web presence is basically nothing. You have to call. The first time I called it was a little off putting because I was told by whoever answered that they weren't taking new clients and I was like ok so what about someone else and they gave me Courtney's phone number. Small town etiquette? Idk ‍ I got over it and went and have gone back for hair and massage. Massages with Josh are unlike any I've had before. Expect to participate and move your body around so he is able to massage muscles in a range of angles. Courtney is the sweetest hairdresser! I have very long hair and she will trim it without any convo about cutting it! Such a relief.

Then, it took them 3 months to call me back after the countless VMs I left and attempts to reach out. I am ready to request at least a partial refund so I can get what I paid for here, elsewhere. Since I clearly can't get it done here. However, it's impossible to get a call back from anyone. Ever! Nobody ever answers the phone, and nobody returns phone calls.... so I don't know if that's even going to be possible without walking in there and confronting them face to face. Which I might just have to do. This place is so unbelievably unprofessional! I'm so disappointed that I wasted SO much of my money here. Aveda salons are supposed to be high class and super professional. This one is NOT! I dont know how can they even call themselves a business while not taking care of the business side of things in an even semi decent manner. I've been totally ghosted, and for what reason?? They dont want to own up to their mistake because they got my money or what? Not a community business I want to support, and I will advise others against it as well. Seriously! Who does this to their customers? Especially if they want to keep their business!?? I own a business myself and mine would be bankrupt if I ran it even close to this way. The owner really needs to step up, read all of these terrible reviews, take them to heart by making things right, and start making some dang changes already! Or does she just not care, and therefore shouldn't own a salon in the first place?
