Well, I spent hundreds of dollars to get my hair done here and I left with something completely different than what I asked for. And they still felt right charging me hundreds of dollars... Then, it took them 3 months to call me back after the countless VMs I left and attempts to reach out. I am ready to request at least a partial refund so I can get what I paid for here, elsewhere. Since I clearly can't get it done here. However, it's impossible to get a call back from anyone. Ever! Nobody ever answers the phone, and nobody returns phone calls.... so I don't know if that's even going to be possible without walking in there and confronting them face to face. Which I might just have to do. This place is so unbelievably unprofessional! I'm so disappointed that I wasted SO much of my money here. Aveda salons are supposed to be high class and super professional. This one is NOT! I dont know how can they even call themselves a business while not taking care of the business side of things in an even semi decent manner. I've been totally ghosted, and for what reason?? They dont want to own up to their mistake because they got my money or what? Not a community business I want to support, and I will advise others against it as well. Seriously! Who does this to their customers? Especially if they want to keep their business!?? I own a business myself and mine would be bankrupt if I ran it even close to this way. The owner really needs to step up, read all of these terrible reviews, take them to heart by making things right, and start making some dang changes already! I understand this salon has a 24 hour cancellation policy. My daughter was not able to make it on the same day so she was charged a cancellation fee for a color service. I asked if I could use part of the appointment for a haircut so she would not be charged the full cancellation fee. They would not allow me to do this. I tried to ask Sarah why I couldn't come in for a cut during the time that was now open, but she was just argumentative and rude! read more

I went to Rumors for lash extensions and I couldn't be happier with my lashes and the service. The moment I walked in I was greeted and offered something to drink. The lady who did my lashes was late by a couple of minutes so I was given a paraffin treatment free of charge. Then when I sat down to get my lashes done Adele was professional and lots of fun to talk to. She did an amazing job on my lashes. I highly recommend Rumors for lash extensions! read more

We discussed my hair type and she suggested I have a consultation with Justine. After the consult I set up an appointment for base color, highlights and cut. Sherri & Adelaide are the best. Wonderful friendly service, very personable and they do a wonderful job on my hair. They also offer waxing, massages, everything to make you feel like a queen for a day. The thing I love about this place the most is that they give back to the community. Whether it's holding a fund raiser for a little girl that needs a heart transplant to making sure a bride is all prettied up for her wedding day when the entire town is without power after a tornado. They just go above and beyond and I love supporting a company that does that. read more

I'm new to Windsor and needed a low-light and cut before I left for a fun weekend. I walked in on a Thursday at noon and they booked me for 2:15 that same day (how impressive is that). Denise did my low-lights and manicure, Adel did my cut (just because of the scheduling). I loved both of them!!! The price was reasonable and I really enjoyed the environment. I had an amazing experience with Cassi, she did beautiful job on fixing a botched haircut from another salon. The salon itself reeked of cat litter box odor. The salon itself seems dirty, they really need to deep clean. I saw dust/heavy dirt on baseboards and hair/filth under stations cabinets. They have a nasty cat that strolls around the salon. I find it disgusting. Even more gross because of litter box odor. Sorry to say because of cat and smell I won't be back. Really sad because Cassi is really goid stylist. I came in over a month ago - I know, should have posted sooner! I came in feeling down about myself, badly needing a cut and color. I had had some really negative things happen and I needed pampering. I want to note that I didn't tell anyone there these things. I have never been there before so stylist Denise was recommended. Every time I've been assigned someone they usually give me the least experienced person, but I lucked out. Denise was wonderful and very experienced! From the moment she took me back she completely took care of me. She made suggestions about my color that would better serve the end result I wanted, and gave me an awesome haircut on top of it. Quite honestly this was the worst salon experience I have ever had. I waited two hours for a simple trim when I had an appointment with no explanation or apology! BEWARE if you are allergic to pets because there is a dog and a cat. I have severe cat allergies so I was sniffling the entire painfully long time. Ive had two disappointing experiences with this salon. I went in and had 14 inches of hair chopped off. Ive had highlights and coloring throughout the years but thought it could not be donated because of the highlights. After having the hair chopped and getting up to leave, the owner Adel, says "Oh we should have saved that! We just cut off 14 inches!" I said we couldn't because I had highlights and she told me that had changed about 3 years ago! Are you kidding me? When you held 14 inches in your hand to chop it didn't occur to the professional that it could be donated? I went back 8-10 months later, wanting to give a second chance. I looked up online pricing which said cuts are $35. I arrived and was quickly pushed through. I have very thick hair and made it very clear the whole head of hair needs to be thinned out and ends included. After an hour it was clear she had others showing up for appointments. She sped through the cut and I had to bring it to her attention that it was uneven from one side to the next. She never pulled the hair down to check, she was in a hurry to get the next person in. My ends were thick and the whole look was awful! When I went to pay, I was told it was $48 (not $35 as the website indicated) because Adel was a level 4 stylist. Again, are you kidding me? I just got a terrible cut from a "top stylist" for $48? I can pay $15-$20 and have the rushed feeling and get a much more professional haircut than what I received. If your business model is to make the dollar with # of haircuts than your prices need to match the experience. The model of hustling customers through at a premium price for crappy quality, cant last. I wont be returning or referring. read more
