Yes I was expecting some shock right and something new of course I was okay with. After the cut and blow dry I'm just so sad she butcher my hair. At this point there is no fixing I would have to just shave it all off! I don't even care about the money and I definitely don't need them to try and correct it because if I did this I would have no hair left. Please don't go here they are not knowledgeable at all. Then, it took them 3 months to call me back after the countless VMs I left and attempts to reach out. I am ready to request at least a partial refund so I can get what I paid for here, elsewhere. Since I clearly can't get it done here. However, it's impossible to get a call back from anyone. Ever! Nobody ever answers the phone, and nobody returns phone calls.... so I don't know if that's even going to be possible without walking in there and confronting them face to face. Which I might just have to do. This place is so unbelievably unprofessional! I'm so disappointed that I wasted SO much of my money here. Aveda salons are supposed to be high class and super professional. This one is NOT! I dont know how can they even call themselves a business while not taking care of the business side of things in an even semi decent manner. I've been totally ghosted, and for what reason?? They dont want to own up to their mistake because they got my money or what? Not a community business I want to support, and I will advise others against it as well. Seriously! Who does this to their customers? Especially if they want to keep their business!?? I own a business myself and mine would be bankrupt if I ran it even close to this way. The owner really needs to step up, read all of these terrible reviews, take them to heart by making things right, and start making some dang changes already! Or does she just not care, and therefore shouldn't own a salon in the first place?

I was lectured on how to care for my hair and told my hair was extremely damaged. I paid for a 3hr session and my stylist only gave me an hour and a half, barely spending 5 minutes trimming my hair, that turned out super uneven! And my balayage wasn't even noticeable(see picture). I left the salon feeling defeated and bullied and told it would take several sessions to get my hair light enough. After talking to friends and family I decided to get a 2nd opinion from an AVEDA salon, to which they told me my hair was NOT damaged and she was happy to help me with my hair dreams! I tried talking to Kristen, the owner of Urbane, to tell her about my experience before writing a review, only to be lectured more and she accused the other salon of falsifying a hair test strip and wished me "Good luck on getting your hair melted off!" The lack of professionalism and respect I experienced here is astounding and I wish it had never happened. (P.S. The other salon made all my hair dreams come true and with no melted hair )
