Went in for french mani for a wedding I'm attending and not even 24 hours later a good portion of the paint chipped off and I hadn't hit my nail against anything. So they have one of the best selection of colors I've seen including chrome. The lady who did my feet was just okay. And the girl who did my nails was awful. She didn't take the first layer of gel off enough with the file and tried to just scrape it off and I had to tell her to let it soak longer. I had to ask her to paint closer to the edges and down to the cuticle. She was messy too. I wish I had caught her "name". And what really made want to punch her was that she answered her phone, not once, but twice! Wth? Rude. She was not friendly at all and all of them just spend the whole time just speaking Vietnamese to each other and not interacting with the client. Learn ENGLISH! IT'S AMERICA! I recived a full set acrylic nails with red gel polish awhile back. I loved the shape and application of the polish. The problem I had was pricing. Nails start at $30. It was 5 dollars extra for length and another 5 for shape that's not square? I ended spending around $45 on the. Also after about two days the nails starting to uplift and fall off with daily use of them. I'm picky so I would recommend this place forthos who just want short and temporary nails. read more

I used to go here from my senior year in high school up until last year when I moved to Mississippi! Im back in town now, and I will definately be returning here! They do an awesome job, on my nails, and they dont use cheap products! Horrible place, it's my first and last time here. Walked in for a pedi asked for prices and they just shoved me on a chair then I got off to pick a color threw me back on a chair while they are just starting up the water. While my feet are in the tub, they then added soap and what not. Then the lady doing my toes made fun of my nail polish and the lady bugs on my toes thinking that I didn't know Vietnamese. Half way through my service her "old" client came in and she left me to start working on her other client leaving the other ladies fighting on who gets to do my toes next. I obviously went to a salon because I wanted to get my feet scrubbed and cleaned, if I just wanted them painted then I would have done them myself at home. She didn't even scrub my feet she just patted them and rubbed lotion on my legs. This second lady tried to make it seem like she had to do work on my pedi so i would give her a tip too. In the end they Didn't even do two coats of polish. Horrible. Clients were getting their brows done right there in the open, the first thing the workers do is approach you one after another asking if you want your brows done...they make you feel uncomfortable... The lady on my right was getting pink and white set, and her cutticles were bleeding...literally all five fingers were bleeding and the lady working on her just rubbed it off as if it was no big deal. The client on my left, the lady working on her cut her cuticle with the cuticle cutter, the client flinched and said ouch pretty loud and she didn't even say sorry. When I went to pay with my visa debit card, they guy took my card, eye fucked my name on the card. asked me what my name was, then told me he doesn't take debit cards but he will take it this time, and was giving me a hard time as if I should feel lucky that he's taking my card. I can easily have Hobbit feet between running, dancing in high heels and walking the dog in flip flops. But I don't thanks to pedicures at Professionail. I always return to this particular Professional because the massage chairs work here, my pedicures seem to last forever, the price is right, I never have a problem walking in without an appointment and I consistently get a great pedicure with my feet totally cleaned up, not just some polish slapped on. 2.5 stars from me. .. the lady I got for my Gel Nails tells me that " You need eyebrow waxing because your eyebrow look very bad." Really? I'll take care of them on my own Thanks. .. She litterally just squirt the lotion on and barely rubbed it in. I had to finish rubbing the lotion in myself. Boo. Then at the cashier they tell me they don't take Visa with a debit logo on it. Well, that's all I brought. So they tell me to go to an ATM a couple doors down that will charge me $4.00. No. The guy/assuming the manager finally says after digging in my purse for a hopeful 20 dollar bill (no luck) says ok ill run your card but I have to charge you $1.00 and next time cash or regular visa only- Go for it guy who reeks of smoke, I have no other choice. I really wanted to like this place because it's close to my home, I like the decor (compared to other nail salons in the vicinity) and sometimes they play spa type music. However, after several visits I won't be returning. Ambiance: This place not relaxing. I prefer a nail salon to feel like a spa. The workers here talk a lot, loud and they give you looks (you know the look!). This place is overall uncomfortable. Even when I'm seated at the table, getting my nails done, my chair keeps getting bumped because the space is so tight. Annoying! Quality: The acrylics here do not last. Acrylics typically last me between a month and a month and a half at other places. Here, every single time I got my nails done, within a week the nails were chipping and/or the gel is coming off. A couple of weeks ago my gel chipped within the first week. I went back immediately and they charged me to reapply the gel! The massage given with a pedicure is practically non-existence. It's more like just applying lotion. Once, when I asked for a stronger massage I was told by the technician she couldn't. Another instance, I paid extra for a longer massage. The massage was going well at first when the technician put a nice smelling lotion on. When the lotion ran out she reapplied but instead of using the same lotion she applied a mint type of lotion (it smelled like Vicks) and gave my feet a burning sensation until the next day. I have never experienced any thing like this before. Shouldn't a professional know not to mix lotions?! Price/Payment Method: This place charges more than the average in the area. For the quality, this place is definitely overpriced and they don't accept anything other than cash. This place is a total rip off! Mai does great manicures and pedicures, she's a little slower than the other ladies, but she really does a great job and if you don't like something she will re due it again for you. If you need a wax, Tina is the girl to go to! I was referred to her by one of my associates because I wanted to surprise my bf coming home from overseas, but I was nervous about all the horror stories I heard from brazilian waxes. After I gathered the cojones to go thru with it, I made an appt with Tina and drove to Professionail, (I live in Mission Valley). She was the quickest, most painless wax ever. Ok, so it wasn't 100% painless. It actually hurt a bit walking for a couple of hours. But after almost a year of monthly maintenance, my hair down there is thinner and more manageable and now its as petty as getting the eyebrows done. I have been living in the US for three years and this is my first time to go to a nail salon and have a spa pedicure. I was expecting more from their service since it's a bit pricy but I am a bit disappointed. I chose the european spa pedicure because I was expecting for a 30 minute reflexology but she just made gentle massage on my foot. Totally not reflexology. The place is clean and calm. Unfortunately my massage chair isn't working fine and I have to press it a couple of times for it to work. Their shelf for the manicure colors are overwhelming. I wish they could've organized it in such a way that all color shades are together. It's easier to choose that way. I also had my armpit thread out. My mom, sisters and I used to come here all the time. I slowly stopped because they always find someway to hurt me and they're kinda pricey. I went yesterday just because I was in the area (I now go to diva nails in cv) I can't remember the tech's name but she sat me right way for my pedicure. she asked me If I wanted my eyebrows waxed, I kindly said no thank you, then she insulted my eyebrows as if that is going to get me to do. I've gone to other places, and they all charge 50% more and do a horrible job. I don't trust anyone else with my eyebrows. I will advise, though, that you don't just have your eyebrows done by anyone here, because I have made this mistake in the past. The three best ladies for eyebrows here are (in order): 1- Tina, 2- Mimi, 3- Tiffany. I always make an appointment and most of the time I have to wait for over 10 minutes even though I have an appointment. Well these people are really nice and accommodating. Prices are good. When I had a facial wax my face broke out terribly so I won't do that again. I called them and they told me to apply Neosporin which helped somewhat.
