Overall the owner, Jerry ( I believe) of the nail salon is great and seems very kind. The reason I rated this salon because my nail professional or should I say unprofessional did a poor job on my manicure and pedicure. When Julie paired my nails she put lotion all over my rings. She never took time to ask me to remove my rings, she was aggressive and simply rude. When I said something to her about putting lotion all over my rings, she responded," oh it will be okay". Really, is she going to pay to get my rings cleaned? In addition Julie's application on my feet was sloppy and clumpy. Never again will I return to the nail salon because of Julie. read more

I've used this salon for a few years now. Initially, my experiences were good. Since they've re-opened after the pandemic, I've felt like I'm bothering them when I arrive for my appointment. Twice now I've made an appointment days in advance to arrive and be told that they didn't have me down, or that they were running behind and needed to reschedule me. For a working mother with two small children who has to carve out an hour to get her nails done, it's difficult for me to "reschedule" when the business cannot follow through with their own appointments. My first and last time at this salon. I rarely ever write reviews on yelp but this "basic gel pedicure" was terrible! Not only was receiving the pedicure at times physically uncomfortable because the technician kept poking me with a sharp, wooden stick and her own natural nail, but the polish is sloppy, my feet look and feel just as dry and rough as when I went in and they overcharged me $5. I REALLY wanted to like this place and is it came with rave reviews from a close friend of mine but it was HORRIBLE. Chris was my technician. I asked for a powder dip which is what I got but i wanted a CORAL color. I left with red nails. I was so frustrated with how my nails were "soaked" off with him using the Dremel tool almost to my natural nail. I have very thin nails so I was just waiting for the pain as he was doing it. Thankfully he didn't hit my natural nail too many times but that does excuse the several cuts he gave me along the way. They had about 10 colors to choose from and I even asked if this color was a coral and he said yes. He was SO sloppy and my fingers had red all over them when he was done. Not terrible, but not good. It is convenient and clean, but definitely not consistent. All of their manicurists are not at the same level. I have been here multiple times out of convenience (I blame myself for being lazy) and only two amazing "paint jobs", one gel manicure and one very cute matching mani pedi; but of those two, one price (the mani pedi) was extremely overpriced and they didn't tell me anything cost extra until the very end. It was very rude and unprofessional and definitely put a damped on my experience. I went again this past weekend (after at least a year since my last visit), and had hoped their service had improved. It is however still very average. The "callus remover" I paid for this last visit was less effective than a ped egg and was $5 extra. I'm sure it had more to do with the woman using the remover than the actual product itself. She seemed very annoyed at everyone and everything and that seemed to affect her work; she didn't even say anything to me the entire time. Wait, I take that back, she said " oh, you need eyebrows waxed, I can do that for more money". I'll probably forget or be in an insane hurry to get my nails done and go here again like a dummy but I do not recommend it. To be fair, the only reason I went here this time was because of a gift certificate. Oh, and they charge you $1 for credit or debit card. She was annoyed and argumentative when I requested my nails be trimmed. She refused to do as I asked, so I requested for her to at least file them down as much as possible. I really wanted to like this place because I know two people who love it.... I went here twice, the first time i felt like I was an inconvenience for the person doing my nails, i was in an out in 15 minutes, which would be great except my gel nails started lifting and chipping two days later. I tried them again in case it was a bad day.... I made an appointment a few days in advance for 11:45... they didn't seat me for my manicure until 12:40.... I waited almost an hour AFTER my scheduled appointment. The lady went as fast as she possibly could while doing my manicure, she didn't let them cure fully in between coats and only put one layer of top coat on, they looked nice so I was ok with it... again two days later they started chipping and lifting, I sit in a desk all day so it's not like I'm doing crazy things with my nails! Super disappointing since I've spent money on something I could've done at home. This picture is just one of the three nails that chipped and lifted two days later. I'm not at all happy with the fact that the technician failed to let each coat dry before applying the top coat, and then (even though I said, "my nails are still really sticky") told me, "you're done. They're dry, but be careful." This was my first manicure in my life (now I k ow why I avoid them... so sad with the experience, rushed and very stressful/bossy experience, and I tipped generously bc they asked for the payment before starting the first coat to avoid smudging). Well, upon getting up from the table, two of my nails got ruined because they weren't dry, just like I said! I wish I could add a photo, as thirty minutes later, my nails are still not dry. $65 spent on my own set (normal manicure, but a waste of money, as thirty minutes later everything is now peeling off) and my daughter's gel set plus $10 tip paid before coats were applied (to avoid smudging). We made an appointment one week before, and they were understaffed enough to rush and boss us. Stressful experience all around, and total waste of hard-earned money on a job my 12 year old daughter (the one who got the gel set, also her first time like me) could have done better. They charged me over $50 for a short length. when I try to politely point out that my nails were the lady grabbed my hand scratching my hand and told me she would fix it. This was my go-to spot until recently. The last two times I've been in for a pedicure, it's been seriously lacking. I usually get a "European" pedicure that runs about $35 (not including tip), and it's been sub-par each time. The last time, the technician failed to remove all of my previous toenail polish, so you could see it through my new polish. She also skipped the lotion, massage, and foot scrub. It seemed like they were rushed trying to deal with a group of women that came in without appointments, but that's incredibly rude to the paying customer currently receiving a service. I just came to this salon while awaiting my pup to get groomed. All started ok.... the lady first just quoted me for gel and I said no thanks just regular polish, no big deal. I sit in the chair and the lady is nice and chatting, she then quoted me a different price and I let her know I was told something different. She said ok no worries. My nails were not painted fully on some fingers and she tells me the top coat will fix it. She is done and turns the fan on blast to dry, a couple nails got messed up, my receipt went flying and I bumped my nails, I kindly asked if they could fix the two that were messed up and the very top of one next to the messed up nail, they did. I hate when a nail gets messed up but IT HAPPENS, so murder me I guess. She comes over with an attitude and said this is why you should get gel. If the gel wasn't $15 more and the nail polish on acrylics last the same time then maybe I would and it's my decision and maybe I didn't have the extra dollars today (been displaced by the fires and one of my jobs no longer is in need of my position, it's been a hella of a 12 days.) Guess what... the top coat didn't fix the unpainted part and then the lady from the front yells don't mess up a nail! Pretty rude experience but at least the salon was clean. Hopefully they got their rudeness out on me and everyone else has a pleasant experience. At least I can go back to my normal salon next time. read more

Worst nail salon ever. Son cut me on my finger and did the worst job I've ever had. Completely in pain as he wasn't even gentle buffing my nails as he continues to do my nails. It continued to bleed after i washed and he didn't do anything about it but put nail polish over it. Never apologized or did anything. I believed they also overcharged me or he added himself his own tip. Didn't know what the prices were but it says $27 on here and he gave me a receipt that said $31 as he already rung it up and charged my card before showing me. Polish wasn't evenly distributed over the nail. Like other reviews he missed spots, the acrylic isn't even over the full nail. Didn't even put top coat. Overall wouldn't recommend. read more

So sad to give a bad review but I have learned my lesson not Once but twice. I only go here for pedis as they used to be my favorite spot for a pedi. I went a few months back and got a lady tech who was rushing the entire time. When she cut my cuticle and tried to hide it I was pretty upset as I am diabetic and can't afford to have open wounds on my feet. She was rude when I told her to not paint my nails cause she cut me and she said well it's not bleeding. I was very irritated. I decided to go back because My regular nail tech from another salon has a pretty full book so I told her I was going to go just to get my feet scrubbed. Well I got a male tech and go figure... he cut my cuticle too. He took the clippers and cut so hard I jerked my foot back. Now I know there are a few good people that are gentle and don't rush. Both times I was cut... they were rushing to get my pedi done. This is why I see my regular nail tech because she never rushes me. I guess I won't come back here. Lesson learned. read more

Came in for a gel removal and manicure. As usual, the nail technician used a Dremal tool to scuff the gel top coat prior to soaking with acetone. During the scuffing, one of my nail beds got really warm to the point it was uncomfortable and I told her to take it easy. Second nail gets uncomfortably warm - pointed this out again. Third nail gets burned to the point where I winced in pain. The manager sends that nail technician to another customer and proceeds to do a complete hack job at finishing the gel removal and "shaping" my nails. I paid the $6 for the gel removal then promptly walked to Planet Beauty next door to buy a series of files and a buffing block, and fixed what the salon failed at. Never coming back. read more
