Beware if you're not using AAA. The service is second hand for non AAA calls. I called this morning around 8:30am to schedule a tow for a customer. I was informed that it would be appropriately 30 minutes. I waited an hour and no tow truck and no call so I called and was advised that they had received emergency calls and would not be able to pickup the car until 90 more minutes. I waited again and no truck or call after 90 minutes so I called back. I was advices that they have a priority with AAA and we're busy so I would have to wait another 45 minutes. I had already waited this long and was at there mercy. About 5 minutes later I received a call back that they would not be able to tow my car since they were busy with calls from AAA members. What a waste of my time and inconsiderate poor service on there behalf. So I called AAA to schedule a tow. The tow truck arrived in like 15 minutes and guess what company it was. (Pro Towing) I couldn't believe that a company would have such a horrible practice to only service AAA members. I wish they would have made that clear up front when I called and not wasted my time. Find a different company if you're not a AAA member. read more

I had stopped at Starbucks in a parking lot. Grabbed my coffee, and jumped in the car, pushed the ignition button, and .......nothing. Called AAA and they had contacted the tow company, Pro Towing. Pro Towing called me and said that the technician would be on his way shortly. He got there in a reasonable amount of time. The technician's name was Anthony... Anthony noticed that I had tried to jump my battery with a portable jump starter, but it was not jumping the car. Anthony noticed that the terminals on the battery had some corrosion, and with an educated and experienced assumption guessed that the corrosion was probably deterring the jump starter from being successful as well as possibly not giving a complete charge on my battery. Anthony took the time to loosen the cable from the terminal and clean the terminals and the cable before providing the jump start that I needed. Success on the jump start from Pro Towing and Anthony.. I was not expecting Anthony to do this service because prior technicians from competing tow companies have never done this kind of service. I just want to shout out to Pro Towing today! In this awful rain in a busy parking lot! They took special care not to damage my car even further since this was not an insurance claim. Shout out to the two drivers that came out Hector & Chris. I imagine that tow truck drivers face a lot of variations of circumstances and danger. People are sad and upset dealing with one of our most valuable purchases. It isn't easy I imagine. They were patient and respectful and helped us out. I'd like to mention names because employees come and go and sometimes those bad ones can tarnish a company's name! However Hector and Chris represent what I imagine the company stands for and were great and if I need service again in the future, I hope to run into them again! January 2023 Also, Aaa said they would be there at 11:53 and it took only 15 minutes to get to the location. I had such wonderful experience with all technicians after my car broke down bc of my transmission issues.. Customer service: 10/10 The initial technician that towed my Car was Jorge. The app said he would be there in 1 hour. We were stuck at some warehouses on a very hot day. Jorge showed up in under 30 mins (thankfully). Very attentive and went out of his way to see how he can help us and answered all my husbands questions thoroughly. The second technician was today, towed my car to the shop, unfortunately I didn't catch his name but he was awesome! Took care of taking the car to the shop and we followed after a few minutes. Dropped off the car and even turned in the keys for the shop to start working on it right away. The last technician was Hector, picked up my car from the shop and brought it back home. Very respectful and super helpful as well ! I'm so happy all these three technicians very helpful and friendly to ease some of the tension/stress of having a non operable car. Just got locked out of my car. Called AAA for lockout request, they initially said tow service would be out by 10:25pm. I just called and they gave me name of tow service and said they should be out by 9:25pm. I just tried calling Pro Towing from their website and it keeps hanging up! Just wanted to verify they my info was dispatched to them. Time is 9:08pm Hopefully they will be here shortly. Update: Alex the driver arrived 9:27pm. My wife called AAA after she came out to the driveway and saw her new 2020 Honda Civic had a flat. Eddie from Pro Towing changed out the tire, identified a screw in the middle of the tread and left. A couple hours later she pulled the vehicle out of the driveway ans heard a grinding noise and felt a vibration. We called AAA a second time and George from Pro Towing arrived. He took off the tire, inspected the components and reinstalled the tire. The vehicle still made a grinding noise and vibration. Without fixing the issue, George left. Concerned; I searched the internet and read the vehicle's manual. Apparently, you can not put a doughnut spare on the front of a new Civic because the differential will grind. They recommend putting the spare on the back and the full size tire on the front. I called Mike from Pro Towing. He sent Kevin out the next morning without charge. I showed Kevin the owner's manual and he put the rear tire on the front, the spare on the back and the noise was gone. Kevin also assured me we would only be responsible for one AAA call out. Day 1 the driver said he didn't have the right kind of truck so he called to a back up truck to come. I waited 1 1/2 hours and the second truck never showed. Day 2 the woman who was dispatching the work was extremely rude and hung up on us. What a classless operator. My friend who just lost her Husband 2 days ago had her vintage bug break a clutch cable. No biggie, life happens. She calls AAA and they subcontract these clowns. This tall drink of water named Jose V. Had a lovely attitude. When he first arrived he didn't say anything outside of, I need your ID. I kindly ask him do you have any wood that we can place under the front tires for bumper clearance? He doesn't respond. After he confirms her ID I ask him again, "my concern is the front bumper clearance". Still no response. He proceeds to hook the bug up by the tie rods and gets ready to retract it onto the flatbed. When he hooks the chains they are already smacking the bumper. I know in his eyes the 56 vintage bug is probably a pos, what he doesn't know is its a delicate patina 65k vintage collectors vehicle and it was being driven to a fundraiser for funeral Cost assistance. I'm currently still on the side of the freeway waiting for another another tow truck that may have some sort of decency and communicate. As for the owner of this company, Jose V is a liability and it's a matter of time before he puts you in a spot. If this was my Twin Turbo Lamborghini Huracan I would've let him pull it, damage the front bumper, intercooler, heat exchangers etc, Video recorded it, and taken you to courst for damages. Bear with me as this is a long story I locked myself out of my car with the car running at 10:30 pm. For obvious reasons, I couldn't leave my car running in my driveway overnight. I called AAA who assigned me to a random towing company in my area. I waited an hour and no one showed up so I called the towing company, turns out they don't do lockout services. I reached out to AAA to ask for them to assign me to another independent contractor just. I was basically told there was nothing they could do for me. At this point I start trying to Google ways that I can break into my own car... not a good idea ‍ I started calling all the towing companies in my area to see if I could just pay someone to come open the door for me, keep in mind at this point it is 2 AM on July 4th(for those who are not good at math, that's 3.5 hrs of waiting), it's not looking good for me The companies in my area either didn't provide lockout services, didn't have the personnel to send to me, or straight up didn't answer. Finally Joe from ProTowing takes my call! He was so nice and I told him my whole story and he drove over straightaway, he was at my house in 15 minutes! He even suggested that I call AAA and have them assign my roadside service to pro towing so that I didn't have to pay out of pocket. Reception is very rude. Understandable if she couldn't help me out although she wouldn't even allow me to state what it was I needed and who I was. I was there to retrieve a tracking device for an owner I was privately renting a car from. She told me she could not help me but would not let me state I filed the police report and my name is written in partial ownership of the car on the insurance.
