Fast forward to Wednesday at 9:40AM - No one ever showed and when I called I wasn't given any sort of explanation or apology by the receptionist. Just a simple "can we schedule for another time". When I further probed, is when she finally offered some version of an apology and told me she didn't see me on schedule. Why would I want to purchase a high ticket service from a company who can't follow through on simple appointments or offer any sort of decent customer service? Highly disappointed especially given the good reviews and the fact that I stayed home from work for this!!!!

In September, I hired them to tack shingles down on my roof. There was poor communication about when the work would be done. When the agreed upon day came, they did not show up. I called and emailed to confirm and Claudio said that the guys would be there at 9. It was already 10:30am at that point. I had to go to work and clearly requested via email that they not complete any work unless I was at home- I did not receive a response to this email and called to follow up. After hours of no communication, I was told that they would come another day. I was already frustrated at this point, but needed the work done. Finally, the day came and when Claudio showed up, he was by himself. I asked if he was going to complete the work by himself because the roof is pretty large. He told me that the guys had already come to do it on the first day (where I had to contact them and was told they'd be there at 9am). He was there for my payment. He insisted they came that day, but it isn't true. I was there myself and I think I would've known if someone was on my roof. Furthermore, even when I left to go to work, I have cameras on every side of the house. I was watching the surveillance and no one showed up. I paid him, because I don't believe in cheating people out of earned money, but after my insurance company came back to inspect them roof, it is clear that no work was done. Or was not done to completion (if I'm being generous). Stay away from this company. I've contacted them to have them come back and finish (or start) the work and have been met with voicemails and unanswered emails. I will be contacting the BBB, because this is unacceptable.

They put up tarps to protect the house from damage from the removal of the old roof. They put a huge dumpster in my yard and filled it to the top. They had at least six men plus a supervisor working every day for four days. They cleaned up every day so that two cars were able to park after they left. They were very professional and have a very impressive operation. They also replaced all the gutters. I am considering having them replace the siding. Their price was half of the estimate of another roofer. Highly recommend.

My schedule was tight and he did everything to accommodate me sending his guys on a Saturday and they stayed late too! My issue is 90% of everything ended up needing to be repaired afterwards... things were put on wrong /backwards (shower door), messed up my bathroom door where it wouldn't close anymore, did a job with tiles in bathroom and made a decision without consulting with me and I hated the results and told him so I'm stuck with it unless I pay to have it redone. Getting in touch with him and to return was challenging. I was told they would start on a certain date to fix the mistakes.... This is after months and renegotiating when they could come. The reason my ratings aren't lower is because Paulie did send his men to fix the issues (I sent pictures that were undeniable that the work was not up to standards). I decided to push for a week day (which he told me numerous of times it was easier to schedule). 2 men showed up and did a GREAT JOB in fixing the previous issues. So I say do not get work done on the weekends.... It was stressful, they also turned off my dryer or heater without telling me... of course my not knowing I thought it was broken.... We used a company that has been around since 1968 doing everything for a home from remodeling to building. Our roof was done by them about 7-8 years ago. During that time we had issues of leakage in the sunroom and living room, shingles came off from light wind and last night was the worst. All other neighbors didn't have that used another company. Based on this experience, I DO NOT recommend using Weather Tek in Dunellen, NJ. I hope they don't have any involvement in the new complex being built near the Dunellen train station. I was very pleased with the work done by Capital Home Design and Home Improvement. I needed the…read moresteel lintels on my doors, garage door and windows replaced and the bricks over the lintels replaced. I also wanted the air conditioner sleeves removed from the brick face and the bricks infilled to match the existing brick face. John, the owner, worked with me to do the job in the manner I requested. For the four built-in air conditioner wall sleeve units to be removed I wanted all the half bricks adjacent to the window sleeves replaced as I did not want to leave "scars" on the brick face where the sleeves used to exist. John went out of his way to source bricks that matched the multicolored bricks used in my home that was built some 65 years ago going to several masonry suppliers to source bricks that best matched. The results were just what I requested and envisioned. The company also repaired two balconies and replaced broken and cracked bricks throughout my home. The work was very professional and John's crew was very respectful of my home. The price for all the work was very reasonable and there were no surprises regarding the contract price we agreed upon for the job. Also, John kept me informed of progress and issues in a timely manner and was receptive to any questions I had regarding the work. I was informed of the quality and brand names of the materials to be used, especially for the bonding of new concrete that was applied to existing concrete and the stainless steel mesh used in the repair of the concrete patios. Each day, before leaving at the end of the day, the crew cleaned up the job site and left the area broom swept. The work was done to a very high professional standard and because of this my neighbor is using Capital Home Improvement and Home Design to remove their air conditioner window sleeves and infill with brick - the same as done on my home. John informed me of the start day for the work on my home and continued the work until the job was completed. When the rainy weather did not allow work to continue, John offered, at my option, to work on Saturday and Sunday at no additional charge. I accepted and we were able to use those sunny weekend days to keep the job on schedule. John went over the working hours with me before starting the job. Each day the crew arrived on time and worked until the end of the day. I observed that the crew worked safely and diligently. You could tell that the entire crew knows their craft and that they worked well together. I found Capital Home Improvement and Home Design when they were working on two neighbors homes replacing stairs that led to the second floor and that had the first floor entrance within the steps. I saw that they did a great job matching the bricks and that the work was neat and professional. I also saw that they made sure the portion of the steps that included the first floor entry was professionally waterproofed to ensure no water infiltrated into the first floor entryway. I was very impressed and I chose this company because of the work I saw that they did for my neighbors. I can recommend Capital Home Improvement and Home Design without reservation. They are an honest professional company that does what they say they will do, cares about their reputation and wants to ensure their customers are satisfied. I highly recommend this company for your masonry lintel and brick replacement.
