I took a long time before reviewing them.... Paulie came ready and prepared. He was on time and communicated well in the beginning. His workers speak very highly of him and he shows up in the beginning to make sure the job is started properly. My schedule was tight and he did everything to accommodate me sending his guys on a Saturday and they stayed late too! My issue is 90% of everything ended up needing to be repaired afterwards... things were put on wrong /backwards (shower door), messed up my bathroom door where it wouldn't close anymore, did a job with tiles in bathroom and made a decision without consulting with me and I hated the results and told him so I'm stuck with it unless I pay to have it redone. Getting in touch with him and to return was challenging. I was told they would start on a certain date to fix the mistakes.... This is after months and renegotiating when they could come. The reason my ratings aren't lower is because Paulie did send his men to fix the issues (I sent pictures that were undeniable that the work was not up to standards). I decided to push for a week day (which he told me numerous of times it was easier to schedule). 2 men showed up and did a GREAT JOB in fixing the previous issues. So I say do not get work done on the weekends.... It was stressful, they also turned off my dryer or heater without telling me... of course my not knowing I thought it was broken.... I was having a very hard time getting a contractor who would call back and show up and I really appreciated that their team not only responded but got our job done quickly. It was greatly helpful that they came to the house for a consultation first so that I understood that our double vanity install would require moving the plumbing and could adjust budget expectations before committing. Ricciardi Enterprises was one of three companies I called for an estimate on reconstructing my front steps, and I have to say that Paul (the 2nd estimate) pretty much had me at Hello. His price was more than fair, but more importantly, all his ideas and suggestions were outstanding. And the follow up and attention to detail was tremendous. Pictures, pictures and more pictures with no rush to make any decisions because I had essentially already hired him. Long story short - the front steps, the stone facing along the foundation and the electrical work are all top notch. I could not be happier with his ideas, his work and his work ethic, and pretty much whatever I need done going forward, Paul will be the one that I call. One quick story just to give you a clearer picture of the type of person you will be getting if you hire him: When Paul stopped by to bring over the contract and to accept a small good faith deposit, I was literally on my hands and knees up to my elbows in mud trying to replace three sprinkler heads in my side yard. The first one was working like a charm (first one I ever replaced!) but the second one wasn't working yet. So what does Paul do? Without asking, and with his assistant waiting for him in his van, he gets down on his hands and knees and starts digging through the mud with me trying to get this sprinkler head to work! Found them on Yelp. From the start they were quick to reply and answer any questions. We designed our kitchen to be mostly an update but with some bells and whistles. We weren't looking to get pushed into doing more than we needed or budgeted. The team was great. We talked through everything and checked in daily to address any changes in the plans that came along. Mostly minor, older home setbacks. They suggested dealers for supplies but did not apply any pressure to use them. Anyone they recommended and we used, they helped us to negotiate pricing and dates. They would even pick up items we ordered so that we didn't have to. We wanted our kitchen to be done in 4 weeks before thanksgiving and they delivered in 3.5. Paul and his team were kind and really impressed us. We had heard so many bad stories of delays and extra costs that didn't happen to us. We can't wait to use them again for our next updates! I cannot rave about Paul and his crew enough! Paul is a man of his word and he genuinely cares about his customers and the work he does. This renovation has been two years in the making and Paul has been kind and patient each step of the way. He did over the entire outside of my home....from deck to driveway, to everything in between. His estimates are fair and he makes sure to deliver on exactly what you want. My husband and I had him go through multiple options and price points to get to exactly what we wanted and could afford and Paul was great the entire time. During the renovation we found issues that needed to be resolved with our house once things were opened and Paul took care of them and took the stress off of us. He went far above and beyond on what we expected and we could not be happier with the results. He works quickly and so extremely clean. Most of all, he is such a nice guy. He's been here so much, he sort of feels like a member of the family at this point. We already have plans for another project for next year and we've recommended him to family and co-workers. You honestly cannot go wrong by choosing him. His work far surpasses anything I have ever seen. He even ended up fixing things that my previous contractors and plumbers did not do to his standard.
