Several months ago, my sinks and toilets were making a gurgling sound. I called Pro Plumbing Services, Inc. in Antioch. They sent Jose out that day and Jose snaked the pipes and cleared the lines. The cost of the job was fair. I was told by the plumber that they guaranteed their work. 3 months later I had issues with the clogged lines again to the point we could not use the toilets or sinks. shower. I called Pro Plumbing late that day and the receptionist reassured me they would have someone out that night. She would do whatever it would take to get a plumber out that evening. Jose showed up at 8:00 pm and cleared the lines again. The plumber would not take any kind of payment because of the guarantee of their work. Because of the pandemic we have done lots of remodeling and have used this company two times prior to this review. On this unfortunate occasion we noticed a leak from the ceiling in our kitchen, we called Pro Plumbing and asked for Jose! Well we were told that Jose was unavailable for several days. The office manager told us she could send out Ric and that he was the owner of the company. I agreed to using Ric and figured since he was the owner he must be at least as good as Jose. Well when Ric showed up I asked him if he was as good as Jose and he told me he was Jose's grandfather so now I once again knew I was in good hands. I don't know about you but when your ceiling starts leaking all kinds of horrible things go through your mind.....Ric and Julio quickly found the problem as we suspected in our upstairs bathroom shower. Wow, what a great experience with Pro Plumbing! Brian, Rick and his grandson (I forgot his name) were absolutely fantastic. Backstory: we have a 7 month old baby and as we were about to give him a bath we realized our hot water wasn't working. My husband tried to get the pilot re-lit but we were unsuccessful. After our homeowners insurance gave us the round-a-bout, we called Pro Plumbing because it said on our water heater that they did the installation. At 10 pm that same night, Brian called us, helped diagnose the problem over the phone and said he would send their "emergency services" to our home with a part that would fix the problem the next morning. We were amazed by the quick response and customer service, and were incredibly thankful! Rick and his grandson showed up at 11 am on the dot the next day. They fixed the problem in 1/2 hr and we had hot water 45 minutes later. They also fixed a small plumbing leak in the bathroom for no extra charge and consulted on gas line route we are considering in our backyard. All I can say is we were incredibly impressed by the professionalism, kindness, great customer service and quality of work. In less than 24 hrs, baby got a nice hot bath and mommy and daddy did too! Ditto everything that Betsy H. states in the other review of Pro Plumbing services. On the day after Christmas, our water heater leaked out all over our garage. Considering it was 30 yrs old, I figured we had it coming. We dont do a lot of work with plumbing, so I was a little lost on who to call. I tried the local plumbers and they were booked for the next 3-4 days. Ugh! I then did a dumb thing, I called Sears and signed up for a "Same Day" install if I purchased the Water Heater through them.... long story short, they never showed! Horrible... wasted an entire day and now was looking at 2 days w/o a shower. Thanks to Yelp!, I was able to find Pro Plumbing Services. These guys, father & son, were on time and did an absolute top-notch job getting everything replaced, up to code and cleaned up. Before the work started, they detailed all of the costs in writing. When they were done, they explained everything and were able to answer any/all questions on the work they performed. In the end, I'm happy that SEARS sucks so bad... Had a gas leak coming from some unknown pipe. Was told they be at my place between 12:00 -1:00pm. Ric showed up at my door right at 12:00pm. Friendly and talkative. Put me right at ease. He also let me know that they might have to get supplies if they didn't have the right plug to disconnect that pipe & plug it. Turned out he was able to fix it and plug the pipe.
