I don't get my nails done often--I'm NOT a girly girl--but more often than not, Pro has been my go-to nail spot. I don't know what happened, but ever since management changed and Chris left as the owner, it's just not consistent. I just got a mani/pedi ($35), tipped well ($15), and I'm looking at my nails thinking to myself how I could have done a better job myself! I'm just really disappointed. I might go back, but ONLY if Hope or Mimi is available. This older Latina lady just gave me the most lackluster manicure of my life, and at the end told me "your nails are too short." I asked for a pedicure and it was less than 30 minutes. The guy who was doing my pedicure dug his thumb nail into each toe when he was putting the polish on. I even asked him at 10 minutes why he was done already. I asked him to cut my cuticles and he didn't. I had also cut my nails before going to the salon. I just needed to have them filed. He used some old file that did absolutely nothing. I think it might be the owners husband. read more

Overall, this is a great nail salon if you're looking for a basic mani pedi. The staff is friendly and if it isn't busy, the manicurist/pedicurist will spend some extra time with the massage. My regular mani will last for at least a week (I'm hard on my nails!) and my regular pedicure will last for 2 1/2 weeks. It's a go to place for me. read more

Be prepared to get charged for everything. $10 callus is reasonable, but then they charge $20 for nail take off completely separate from manicure, and they charge $15 for gel take off when I only had like 4 nails with gel and it took her less than 2 minutes to take off and she didn't mentioned they were charging me to take it off till the y end when I was at the register. Unbelievable. I was getting the gel off my nails. The lady in charge ordered the person doing my nails to do a pedicure on someone. The worker left the foil and alcohol swabs on my fingers for 20 minutes. They began to burn. Finally my mother and sister called someone over. Another lady took the foil off and filed the rest of the gel off my nails. Then I was left again. They worked on people who can in AFTER me. I don't really blame the staff. Out of all the nail salons I went to in the past my acrylic fills n nails never looked more better and more natural. However be prepared to pay through the nose. I told the owner that I went to another place w my sister and she punished me by double charging me. I really wanted to give Pro Nails a chance despite the less than stellar reviews. Their customer service is great, the experience was great, but the end result? Not so much. Sadly, I regret going here and wish I had listened to fellow Yelpers. As mentioned earlier, my experience was great - honestly it was 5 star worthy. My nail technician was an absolute sweetheart. She was extremely patient with me as I took forever to decide on a color. She even made a couple suggestions and tried a few colors on me before I made my final decision. She made did a lovely job with painting my nails. She checked in with me a few times throughout the process to see if I liked my nail shape, color, etc. I also loved that she gave a quick shoulder massage as my nails dried. Such an added bonus! I have nothing bad to say about the technician or the relaxing process. Now you might be wondering why I gave Pro Nails such a poor rating despite my gray experience. Well, my gel nails started chipping THE DAY AFTER I got them done. Not one but three of my nails chipped. I've gone to many other salons in the past and I have never experienced this before. I know gels don't typically last too long but the inability to last less than 24 hours is crazy. Since the salon is closed on Sundays, I gave them a buzz on Monday morning to inform them of what happened. They took me in that morning and the nail technician happily fixed my nails. She even went as far to redo my cuticles and everything. They did this all free of charge. Later that night, I discovered the same nail chipped again. I'm currently 4 days out from when I originally had them done and I now have two chipped nails. I don't know if it is due to poor quality gel polish or what but what I do know is that it is a huge bummer to say the least. Pro Nails has everything going for it... except for a high quality, long lasting end result. For that reason, I will not be returning here and would not recommend to others. I've been going here for a couple years. I think it's clean, usually a bit slow, but they do a nice job. After my visit today, I won't be returning....... ever. I came in for a mani, pedi and eyebrow wax. They were busy, which I respect and acknowledge, but they made it apparent that I was not a priority. A woman came in after me for a pedicure (no appointment) and was serviced first. I didn't have a problem with it at the time, thinking that maybe since I was getting more done, they wanted to get her in and out. I had my pedicure done pretty quickly and then was brought to the drying station. I reminded 2 workers that I was also getting a manicure and eyebrow wax. They both told me to dry my toes first, which I was fine with. 45 minutes go by and I'm still at the drying station. Several people who came in after me have already gone from the pedicure chair to the manicure chair before me. I finally walked out and left my cash for the service and 20% tip. Don't go here unless you want to be over charged for average looking work. I payed $60 for a gel pedicure in which they didn't even give me the full experience. My feet weren't soaked first at all. They just started filing, cutting, and buffing the nails while they were still dry. I kept thinking okay it'll get better trust the process.. but it didn't. Polish was messy at the end. Would not recommend not only because of the quality but especially because of their prices. I have been going to Pro Nails for 7 years, but after my most recent visit I doubt whether I will ever go back to this spot. For many years, I've loved coming to this salon. The ladies are nice, and will always say hi and ask about my family. It felt comfortable and I never wanted to give my business anywhere but here. I think they've gone under new management in the past few years, and have recently hired a whole bunch of new employees, who, for lack of better words, are not professional and not good at their job. During my last visit, I got a manicure/pedicure. The first blip happened when I was getting my pedicure, and the technician poked me with the cuticle cutters and I jumped. She then proceeded to give me the dirtiest look, as if it was MY fault that she hurt me. That happened about 4 more times during the whole visit. She also didn't know what a callous razor was, and I literally had to point it out to her and tell her what to do. The second issue came when I was getting my gel manicure removed from my finger nails. The man who was doing it left the acetone on for literally a minute, and then started trying to take it off with a cuticle cutter. I immediately stopped him and said that I thought the acetone should stay on for longer so that it can properly come off and that I'd prefer if he used something less sharp so he didn't damage my nails. He very condescendingly told me that the acetone was worse for my nails, and walked away. He's probably right, but I definitely think it should stay on for longer than a minute. Anyway, after about 6 minutes, he sits down next to me with another client and starts doing her nails. Just leaving me alone, as if I was invisible. I asked the manager if someone was available to do my nails. Her response: "YOU HAVE TO WAIT. OK. Just be patient! You said you wanted to wait, and now you're waiting." The lady sitting next to me gave me a sad and embarrassed look and I was literally so shocked that I didn't say anything. She saw the other client's look and only then said, "OK someone come and take her nail polish off." I spent the next 45 minutes (yes, this whole process took 2 hours. Never have I ever gotten a mani/pedi that's taken so long) just waiting for it to be done and debating whether I should say something to the manager. I decided to write a Yelp review instead. There are definitely some amazing ladies who work at Pro Nails, and I've had a bunch of great experiences. But this was so awful that I can't ever imagine coming back here. They have a variety of gel manicure shades and when they do my nails I can push it three weeks instead of the normal two weeks. I am obsessed with the Shea Butter Pedicure. It is Amazing!! I went for the first time and they were good at greeting but when my nails were done - they charged me $50 instead of $30 - for gel manicure - price that is written on the board. When I asked why - they said "oh because it took too long to take your gel manicure off". Unbeleivable!! When I asked that you charge 66% extra to take off previous gel manicure - something other salons do without even blinking - they said - for the first time - but we will charge you $30 from next time. I did not like being ripped off like that. If they are charging 2/3 extra to a new customer - well, at least the decent thing to do is to let them know beforehand. This nail salon is top notch and works with one of the best supplies a nail salon could have. The workers are all professional and to top that off, they have the most kind hearts. The service is unbelievably good and I can't wait to keep coming here! It's a must try! Horrific experience!! I'm still bleeding. Run from this place. Do NOT GO. I asked for a manicure/pedicure if they had the time because it was close to closing. I would have come another time if I knew the outcome. The young lady for the pedicure was great, but the owners or managers who worked on my manicure during the pedicure were a nightmare. They continued to speak in a different language and were moving at a ridiculously fast speed. Not a good idea when holding a sharp item. Then I looked at my pinky and it was bleeding which they pretended didn't happen until I said something. (STILL BLEEDING) I think the new trend at these nail salons is NOT cut the cuticle because it requires time so they left two untrimmed. Now the nail polish is completely uneven and has already lifted from bottom up. I mentioned that it wasn't done correctly and she kept telling me to go try my nails. I thought she would fix it by the drying station. I had to get two nails extended and a polish change in a pinch. DO NOT BOTHER GOING HERE! There is a reason for the low ratings. I told the lady who was doing my nails that the extension she did was too short and she told me not to worry, she was not done yet. Then when she was done and I told her it was too short, she was annoyed that she had to fix it. Then when she was using the drill she actually drilled my cuticle down so far it split and I jumped in pain. So she took acetone and wiped my nails down and I asked her to please stop, that she was hurting me. She then told me that I was bothering her and she didn't want to do my nails! She said her back was sweaty because she was so nervous because she has a 'very dangerous job'. I mean seriously lady?? Then she said she wanted to cut all my nails and other things and I still have no idea what the he## she was trying to say. All I know is that if tomorrow was not Thanksgiving and if it was earlier in the day, I would have walked out.
