I think this is my new pedicure place when I want to "splurge". A spa chair pedi with additional callus AND sea salt scrub was only $23 before tip. Eyebrow wax was $7 There were two employees working on the Sunday I went and both were super polite and friendly. The gal that did my pedicure and eyebrows gave me a sincere welcome and thank you when I told her that it was my first time at the shop. After I paid and was on my way out she said "I really appreciate you giving us a try today and hope to see you soon". That was the perfect end to a much needed relaxing pedicure. What I LOVED the most was after my massage they wrap both legs in a hot towel and keep them wrapped as they polish. I watched both employees thouragly. I got a mani gel and regular pedi. Granted it was $40 total so what the heck and I still tipped $5/$5 for the appreciation of my laziness to give myself a mani pedi. ALTHOUGH, they are not good at cleaning your nail beds. Sadly my nail beds suck and getting it removed neatly is what I love about getting a mani and pedi. After their cleaning and applying the nail polish, they had uneven polish on my nail beds. I mean at least make the finished look not look like it was given to me by kiddos. So, my usual nail spa was booked and i found this place on yelp and its near my house. I called made an appt for gel mani and regualr pedi $41 plus tip. $41 is pretty reasonable. I walked in a saturday morning and it was busy, good thing i made an appointment. I really appreciated that they did honor my appt time and did not take a walk in over my time. I had 2 nail techs working on me. They were both polite, quiet (which i also appreciated i like to just go get my nails done without the small talk), both ladies got done to business, extremely fast, did a decent job and i was done in 30 minutes!!!! The 3 stars is because its your average nail spa you see on every corner, nothing fancy, nothing special, just a simple nail spot, it does need some cleaning of the gel "machine" you put your hands in. Average is o.k. this place didn't do anything special that would justify 4 stars. WTH! do they have you put on some OLD, CRUSTY, GREEN, SWEATER like material fingerless gloves before you put your hands into that dirty "gel machine " i have NEVER been to a nail spa where they ask you to put any type of glove on... it was totally gross and since it was my first time there i was caught off guard, confused and just put them on. Eeeeeew....... Would i come back? Yes, only if my regular spot is busy or for just plan old convenience. Would i recommend this place to friends? Depends on what friends. If you like simple, no fancy frill nail spot, then yes come and make an appointment they did get super busy on Saturday with walk ins. Not from around Torrance but my girlfriend is and every time we visit her back in her home town, she always has to take a trip to PRO NAILS! to get her nails done. Arriving inside the shop you are greeted with big smiles and load "HELLO!" if you have been going there as much as my girlfriend has they would remember your name. Making a appointment is very useful at this place. So we were sat down right away. My girlfriend always gets the medi and pedi. So they don't even need to ask her what she wants, only what color she wants to do this time. They do small talk and sometimes do big Talks. My first time here, and looks like I've found my new nail salon and manicurist, Helen. I made an appointment to get a fill and fix the mess of the nails left from another salon. I was able to get in at 530 on a Friday night and was out by 617. I went to Helen after reading all the other reviews, and let me tell you, the are all right, she's amazing. She gave me exactly what I asked for. She thinned out nails and made then more natural looking. She was very gentle and paid attention to details. I love the fact that they carried over 500 choices of gel colors. I was stoked they had spa pedi chairs. I'll be back for those. I recommend making an appointment and seeing Helen, and get the gel. I recently moved from Inglewood to Carson and had to find a nail spot that was closer to my home. I couldn't continue to drive to Culver City just to get my nails down. Plus, that shop wasn't pleasing me anyway, so a change was perfect. I was driving down Sepulveda and saw Pro Nails and instantly bookmarked them on Yelp. I went to work and saw the reviews which seem cool, so I went that day after work. I walked in the shop is really cute and clean. I was instantly greeted by a nice lady in the front. I told them was I wanted which was a Pedi and a Gel Mani. A nice guy who name I didn't get was beyond nice and gave me colors to look at. Another lady got my spa ready for the Pedi. I wish my water was a bit warmer, but it was nice nonetheless. The pedicurist wasn't very talkative, and that was fine with me. At times I just want to relax, so that was good. My feet do look beautiful and neat and I look them. I like that they put a warm towel on my legs...however she kept it on my legs the entire time she painted my toes and the towel was cold, so it wasn't very relaxing after some time. The guy who did my nails did them so neat and perfect and color I wanted was perfect. They also put these little hand gloves on you for the gel light dryer and I thought that was nice. I also go my eyebrows done and I loved that she ONLY CLEANED them and followed my shape. They came out good. My entire total was like $57 bucks and that is a total steal!! NEVER GET A PEDICURE HERE! Their pedicures suck! They only soak your feet and polish your toes everything else THAT SHOULD be included with a pedicure cost extra... which is pathetic!!! Zero stars my fist time going to this place because I work here in Torrance I went to get a fill during my lunch and I was so disappointed the second I sat down this technician was horrible he was hurting me like crazy he didn't no what he was doing he keep saying sorry....!!!! When he was buffing my nails he was doing it so hard that he cracked them and wanted to keep on doing it I told him to stop he said if I wanted him to redo my nails again but I was already in pain and bleeding do I said no and he told me ok bye what a horrible experience!!!! I have been going to Pro nails for years and I have always been happy with a simple pink and white acrylic set. They always do a beautiful job, and at a totally fair price! Today I wanted to try something different I took in a picture from Pinterest not sure how it would turn out. I am beyond pleased! For a small increase in what I normally pay, I got the most beautiful nails! Helen copied the designs exactly!
