I just moved to Ohio & was looking for a new place to start going to for my nails. I read the great reviews of this place & was super excited to try it out but I am so disappointed. I will not be coming back here. I was rushed the second I walked in, the guy rushed doing my nails & messed them up completely. They're all crooked, none of them are the same size, uneven, not the right shape, & none of them even look the same. First time getting my nails done here. I don't get my nails done ever, but was so comfortable with Lily! She explained every step along the way and made sure I liked what I was seeing before she would proceed. They stayed open WAY late to do an acrylic full set on me for a wedding I'm attending tomorrow. They scheduled me with no hesitation and welcomed me as if I was a regular! I have been getting a manicure and pedicure combo for as long as I can remember. (At least 20 years) This is by far the worst nail salon that I have ever been to! My nails look worse than before I came. It saddens me honestly. Not only do I have cuts to my cuticles now but I have gel on my skin and I still have cuticle that needs to be removed. I was a walk in and asked if there was availability for a gel polish change and a dip polish change for me and my daughter. They said yes, so we started soaking. Paul started first on my gel polish and we were informed he would do my daughter next (would have liked to have known that we wouldn't be done at the same time or close to it). Then someone came in with an appointment. Paul mentioned he would finish mine, do hers, THEN do my daughters. He was very rushed and left me mid-polish to help another walk in with a polish removal. He rushed through my gel polish which looks very messy (it was on my cuticles and uneven and I've tried to fix it). As I was checking out he was asking if we were coming back to have my daughters nails done, as I answered him he answered his phone and totally ignored me! We left paying for more than we should have for a gel polish and two removals. Very disappointed, won't be back unless they comp the service to try and earn our trust. read more

Ok so I have tried several different places and this by far is the best for balance on my nails and Lily is an expert in ingrown toe nails. All 3 employees are good. You will not be disappointed. You can make an appt which I highly recommend just because sometimes they do get busy and they do not ever have more than 3 working at a time. The salon is clean and they have an amazing selection of nail color choices. The nail polish is never old like it is in some other salons. Customer service is not good. I would not recommend. Paul is very rude and has been for all the years I have gone there. I am retired now and have time to shop around for a salon that treats you with respect and values your business and I am looking forward to it. Paying as much as it costs (and leaving a tip regardless), and be treated as he does, is not acceptable. Even after scheduling an appointment and being there ahead and on time does not protect you from being yelled, treated rudely (moved around to accommodate others) or getting your appointment time. Going from having dips, gels and acrylic nails for work to manicures and pedicures I was badgered in my 2-minute manicure for not selecting one of those and then directions yelled at me to go to the chair. Ever been spoken to and then before you can respond, have a person totally ignore you multiple times talking to the customer in the chair next to you. I felt insulted and made the decision this was the last time I would ever go to this salon, after having put up with it for years because of the location. So glad to be retired and have the time to find and go to salons and enjoy it. read more

Not ready for prime time. Dipping powder techniques need work. Tried three times, and the owner did the work. I have it done all winter out of state. Here they are not using the higher priced brand SNS and I had waves one time and the last time I am certain the top coat was not applied properly. It started cracking off and breaking my nails in 3 days over the holiday week end and I called to have it all soaked off. The owner would not even acknowledge my presence while I was there. I agree lily is very sweet and friendly. Owner made her do the soak off. Probably ok for other services. read more

I was very disappointed with the gel manicure service. The gel polish is over top of my cuticles so it will begin to lift in a couple days. The color has streaks through it where you can see that it wasn't applied evenly. I definitely will never be back to the salon to get a gel manicure. read more

I'm going to start this by saying i have worked in customer service (and currently do) and have never left a bad review for a single place I've been, no matter how bad it is. That being said, I went here for months a while back, because I went with a friend and was anxious to find another salon. They never did well. My nails always turned out uneven in length, shape and sometimes color. I almost always got Paul to do my nails. He was very rude to me and never remembered me even though I have pink hair and went in every three-ish weeks. Whenever I came in he would tell me I should dye my hair purple as it would "look so much better on me". He also would ask me about my plans for college (I was a junior and senior in high school at this time) and when I told him I was going for art, Paul acted offended. He would go on long rants about how I should go to school to a be a doctor or lawyer instead, how I would never make money with a degree in the arts. Even when I specified I wanted to do art education, he still was very rude and said I would be poor. This exact conversation happened multiple times. I always left with overpriced, terribly done nails and all while upset because of what Paul would say to me. I do not recommend at all. read more

My daughter, Amanda, treated me to a mani/pedi as a gift. I didn't often have my nails done, even though I worked in a nail salon years ago, it was a luxury I just didn't afford myself. Well, almost a year later, we're still going to see Paul and Lily every two weeks! The few places I have been were snooty or worse than that, barely talked to you at all. At Pro Nails, we are always greeted immediately with a smile and now by name! The place is clean and adorable. They are consistently friendly and accomodating to all that enter, whether they have an appointment or not. I was visiting from NJ last week and went with a friend who frequents this nail salon. I got a standard $18 mani from Lily with OPI polish. I have been getting manis every other week for about 20 years. Polish typically starts chipping on day 3 or 4. I am on day 7 with no chips. My nails look beautiful. I need to call Lily and find out what she uses as a top coat because it is magic! Well worth the $18. The place is clean, the team is friendly, and walk-ins are welcome. The spa is clean and the services are quick. Very friendly staff, Lily is always smiling, accommodating, and likes to talk to you during your service. This place looks like your typical nail salon. It's not ultra chic or modern decor. Just a regular old salon. However, the manicurist I had, Sally, was so professional, nice and thorough that I didn't care about the ambiance. It is clean. I'm there to get my nails looking their best and she did one of the best jobs ever. Since my nails looked trim, she recommended gel polish only, not a full manicure to save me money. They are always very friendly. My nails have always been excellent, and if something's wrong, they're quick to fix it for you. Great selection of gel colors, too. My only negative is, if it's busy when you go, they're a little hurried and don't do as good a job. read more

Really really great pedicures - always meticulous at shaping and cleaning up nail beds. Polish is always done with care. Even helped with an ingrown issue from running (has totally gone away now!). Place is a typical strip all nail dump. So sorry I went. Everything you hear stereotyped about Korean nail salons. I went in initially bc I couldn't get in ANYwhere for a solar acrylic balance for my birthday. The woman who squally does mine just wasn't available for days before. I called all the actual reputable salons in the area and everyone was booked. Hazard or having a birthday during the Month of Brides. Found this place via this other review on Yelp and thought I'd give it a go. I thought, aw heck, what can it hurt to do my nails here once? Went in, and of course can't understand anyone although they were pleasant. A guy named Tony did my fill. That was 3 weeks ago. Alton I had previously been getting a pink & white, I opted for just the pink balance and abolish this time to save money. They looked fine when i left. I was just able to get back yesterday (went back bc slightly cheaper than regular salon - should have known you get what you pay for) this time I got the owner. Who worked on my nails at same time as he gave a high school girl a gel mani. He went back and forth between us, to be sure to get both customers (I was totally put off by this). Then he takes my polish off, and guess who has fungus!? The guy first blames my previous nail tech then blames ME for not telling Tony to deal with my nails that had lifted and bubbled during the last fill. And that I didn't come in soon enough. Etc. I did assert to him that I had had the acrylics on for three months without incident and they were NOT polished until Tony's job, so I KNOW the fungus arrived after that visit. And to insist I should have told the tech essentially how to do his job is insane. Then he proceeds to rip and tear my acrylics off using a combination of nail tips he pulled from the box and his clippers. And then he charged me $15 for the experience and like an idiot I paid it. I'll be amazed if I don't have serious nail bed damage just from the "removal" experience, let alone the fungus (which thankfully is only on one nail). DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE. read more
