I had a not so pleasant experience with a male technician last week who did my dip nails. The owners reached out to me to fix them. I went back in today and I'm very happy with my nails now. I appreciate them making it right. UPDATE: 3 days later and my nails are cracked. 3 different nails have cracks in them. Avoid this place!!! read more

I have never had a bad experience with D Nails. They are my favorite shop in Delaware. The staff are always very nice and accommodating- even when they don't have time for a walk-in, they are nice about it. I'm a little high maintenance, and they don't bat an eye - they do exactly what I want. For example- I like dipping powder on my nails, and I always want plastic tips for added strength, even when my natural nails are longer. No problem. Pedicures? I want baby-fresh heels on this old, dried up hag. Every Single Time they give me exactly what I want - you just have to tell them what you are looking for. I've been reading through the bad reviews on here and wondering if we're even talking about the same shop? D Nails doesn't charge extra fees for using debit cards. They do request cash tips or cashapp or venmo, because credit cards charge fees on the amount charged - which can eat up a tip. (They're happy to explain when asked). Also, they won't refuse a tip on a credit card - they are just trying to make sure their techs are taken care of without inconveniencing their customers. I think that's fair. Sometimes there is a wait. It's a small shop. While I was there yesterday, a customer came so late the guy joked with her about getting lost. It was very jovial, nobody was rude, and they took care of her without complaint - but I can see how we all play a role in keeping the machine moving timely. It's like the doctor's office - if you're late, you make the next guy late, and the next guy. Unlike the doctor's office, D Nails doesn't send you away if you're a little late. I can appreciate that. My usual wait time is about 15 minutes. The longest I've ever waited was an hour - for a walk-in (no appointment) they squeezed into the schedule. There have been times when they didn't have time for my walk-in at all that day, and they have always suggested alternative dates/times. They have never been rude to me, I have never felt rushed, and I love these guys. I have always been able to rely on the service I get at D Nails. If I had anything to complain about, it would be not always being able to walk in and get quick service - but really - whose fault is that? If I planned far enough ahead and made actual appointments, I'd have nothing to complain about at all. read more

want to leave zero stars. Had nails done there ... turns out I wasn't even given a full set like I was charged. my nails looked so bad I went to another salon to have it fixed where they showed me they nails were not even properly balanced. I have requested a refund and been told I need to show proof. I would say ... yes the proof is in the refund request that you have ignored/denied. I provided that shows I was in fact a customer. read more

I went in to get a fill in and coffin nails. I feel like they were done poorly and they are sharp square looking nails! They look horrible! I'm so mad I feel like I got robbed after getting home and getting a chance to look at them! Worst nails I've ever had!!! read more

I went in and got a gel manicure Saturday, by Sunday both thumbs were peeling off. Now Tuesday all the nails are chipped. I called to see what they could do to make it right but since I am on vacation they're not able to help me. They ended up hanging up on me and said if I didn't come back today there's nothing they can do. I was rushed through the whole manicure which looks awful and now they refuse to make it right. Beware! read more

D nails was a great experience! Katie was so helpful and explained exactly what she was doing as she did my first gel manicure. I will definitely go back. The price is very affordable!! And everyone in the facility was very nice! A great experience. I got a chip in my nail after a few days and I went back and it was fixed with no cost. They thanked me for coming back, too. They were very nice. although I didn't feel like my gel nails lasted as long as I anticipated they would. read more

D Nails - Nails look great! - Nail Salons Near Me - Delaware, Ohio

Pedicure is very poor. VERY rude and terrible massage. They paint your toes first so they barely touch your feet during your massage, isn't that a BIG reason people get pedicures? The entire part of their "Deluxe Pedicure" pedicure lasted 25 minutes. Will not be back, don't waste your money. read more

Be aware they charged a 10$ fee to my mom for using a DEBIT CARD yesterday aug 23rd 2019 . Seems shady!! I won't be supporting that racket!

This place is amazing, the staff are so friendly. They are great at doing nails and pedicures. It's a very nice environment to be in this salon, not your typical sit down gossip salon mood. I would highly recommend this salon to anyone. I definitely will be back very sion read more

What a disappointment took my daughter today for a special treat before her first dance at school. I scheduled an appointment for both of us at 11:00 and showed up a few minutes early. We sat and waited 45 minutes before they we're ready for one of us. I told my daughter to go first because it was more important that she got her nails done for the dance. The reason I took her. I could tell that the other lady doing three other pedicures at the same time was going to be awhile. At this point I decided to forget about my service. My daughter showed a pictures of what she was wanting which was gel polish. He tried to out fake nails on her. I told him no, that is not what she wanted. Had to explain this to him several times. I asked if he could do what she wanted with gel and he said he could. When I went back over to take a look when her nails were almost done it looked terrible. She looked so bummed and I was embarrassed for her that she would have to wear them like that. They honestly looked like a 5 year old painted them. She wanted an ombré look and it was a hot mess. at this point it was clear they don't have the skills to do special techniques so I asked him to just paint over it all one solid color. I told him we would not be returning. They honestly did not care one bit. No apology. They charged her for her service and I did not leave a tip because I was so unhappy. They are really losing out on so much money. It's not what it once was 10 years ago. This was a real treat for both of us today that didn't go our way. read more

I'm very OCD when it comes to my nails so going to a new place always makes me skeptical. I LOVED IT! I had Stephen and he was fantastic, such a hoot! We laughed the whole time and my nails looks phenomenal. Get the mood changing polish, IT IS LIFE! I will be coming back if I don't move first lol. read more

I went here on a Saturday and they got me right in. Pedicure was ok but the polish job leaves something to be desired. There is polish on my skin they didn't remove, it looks like something I could have done at home. I was surprised to discover it was $35 when I went to pay! More expensive than other places I've gone where I've gotten more. Not sure I'll be back... I like the convenience since its close to home and there wasn't a long wait for a walk-in, but other places in town are better. read more

My technician seemed a little rude which made me really sad because I'd heard people rave about this company. Also my nails are a little crooked which makes me sad. I don't think it was too badly priced, but it was definitely get what you pay for read more

I used to come here all the time and loved it but decided to give my nails a little break. After a few months I came back and it's obviously under new management because I did not recognize anyone. The old owners were absolutely amazing and very personable. The person who did my manicure was super rushed (mind you I was the only client there so there was no need to rush) and I felt like they were trying to push me to do something different with my nail (i.e. dip instead of gel or acrylic) I told them I wasn't interested because of my preference and my job (can't have acrylic). I went in picked my color and ended up needing to go through three colors before they actually had the color I was requesting. I felt super rushed. I walked in at 9:55 and walked out at 10:20, yes that's fast but that may be too fast. I never write reviews on any place but I don't think this place is what it used to be, which makes me sad. They also were kind of rude and did not want to hold a conversation at all. Let's just hope the nails hold up. read more

I was very displeased with my visit, I had a pedicure and the nail tech did an awful job. I will never go back.

Got a full set of acrylics with gel polish, and am very happy with the results! Everyone there was friendly and made sure I was happy throughout the process. It didn't take long, and you can't beat their prices. I will definitely be going back. read more

i went here on a Friday and scheduled my appointment days before. i came there and told them my name and number and they told me to sit down and wait until they could help me. my appointment was at 3:00 and i did not start to get served till 3:30. they were very rude and rushed very fast. i had paint all over my cuticles and i asked them to wipe it off. the lady doing my nails just simply brushed me off and said "later" i also had a friend with me who got her nails done after me, as i payed and left the lady who did my nails also did hers, she talked terrible about me to my friend and her coworker saying i just had an attitude problem simply because i wanted her to fix up the paint job. it is now Monday and the paint is peeling off and one of my nails completely fell off ( i wasn't doing anything aggressive with my hands just simply looked down and my nails was gone) over all i spent 50 dollars to be disrespected, an appointment that ran 30 minutes later then scheduled and not even a full three days later nails are falling off completely and chipping. i want my money back. i payed for my nails hoping they would at least last considering i have already been treated so badly by this salon but disappointingly they did not even last near a week read more

Got there and they assured me they should be right with me... Waited over an hour as more and more people came in. They then proceeded to tell me they would take those people in front of my because they had appointments and they forgot about me. So incredibly dissapointed. Not wanting to wait another hour, I left without my pedicure. I can't speak for the quality of their nails but their customer service was terrible. read more
