I feel bad that I'm giving this place such a low review but I have to be honest. I like Christy and I want to support small businesses. She is a very sweet lady, and I've been to her salon several times since last year (2017). When I initially started to going, my gel manis would last about 10 days. But I ventured out during that time to other salons, and had such phenomenal experiences, specifically at W Nail Bar. Because of that, I'm now noticing how poor Christy's nail services are. She's rushing and not using good equipment. My last mani with Christy was just 8 days ago, and the appointment only lasted 25 minutes. My gel manis at W Nail Bar usually last 3 weeks. But my gel mani with Christy started to chip in 5 days and the polish application was very lumpy and even on my cuticles! The only thing this place has going for itself outside of Christy herself are the cheap prices. But your nails come out looking cheap, so the price isn't even worth it! I'm sad to say I will no longer be a customer of Christy's. The quality of the gel manis are just too poor. read more

Christy's Nails - Amazing french!!!!!!! - Nail Salons Near Me - Worthington, Ohio

So I really wanted to love this place because Christy is so super sweet and I always try to support small local businesses but I have to say this is maybe the second worst manicure I've had. My mom and I both left with rough, uneven nails and paint on fingertips and cuticles, and one of my nails even has a fleck of something in the paint. Anyway, definitely go for a personal, one-on-one experience, I just expected more from someone with 20+ years of experience. read more

Christy's Nails - Not really thrilled - Nail Salons Near Me - Worthington, Ohio

Christy's nails is such a quaint, comfortable, clean environment and the owners are exceptionally kind and friendly. Christy did an excellent job on my manicure and shellac nails as well as my eyebrow wax- I was extremely pleased with both the price and the service. I have returned for repeat services and will continue to highly recommend Christy's Nails to my friends and family. I love that there is no strong odors because Christy does only manicures and Shellac and no fake/acryllic nails. Just make sure to call ahead to make an appointment, as Christy is the only beauty tech so if you make an appointment there will be no wait, whereas she may be booked all day if you just drop in. Be sure the check Christy's Nails website for great specials! read more

Cleanest, most memorable salon experience I've ever had! Christy does a FANTASTIC job at what she does an is not your everyday nail tech. She is very personable and honest and only wants what's best for you. She disposes of all implements when she is done with your manicure so you don't have to worry about health factors. These are the nicest Shellac Gels I have ever had. Such a sweet place to be! She offered me a complementary water and gave me an adorable"good karma" keychain too for visiting! :) read more

Christie's Nails is the only place I will go to in the Columbus area. She can always get me in and the price can not be beat for such a great service! read more

Friendly and caring service as well as a delightful decore and amazing selection. Christy's and her husband are just the nicest people and I enjoy spending time with them just as much as I enjoy getting my nails done. Christy's Nails - Another awesome manicure from Christy! - Nail Salons Near Me - Worthington, Ohio

I absolutely love Christy and the work that she does. You can't get better one on one service anywhere else for the same price as anywhere else. She works by appointment so call first and you can usually get in the same day. Great atmosphere, no harsh chemical smell and her husband is great to talk to. read more

Christy's Nails - Basic flower petal pedicure with red polish. Two weeks later polish still fresh and feet still smooth - Nail Salons Near Me - Worthington, Ohio

The best.. Price and service wise. Christy is one on one and gives you her utmost attention. The price can't be best, especially considering the service you get. Not your typical "nail salon mill" where thy try to get you in and out. I had a pedi, mani, and waxing and she did an awesome job. I must say this.... This salon is pretty clean!! She uses a new nail file and buffer for every customer - and you get to take it home!!! I do recommend an appointment. Not sure if walk-ins are accepted. Also, check their website for weekday specials (I got a plain pedi, gel mani, an eyebrow wax all for less than $70). I live in Florida but this is my new go to place to get pampered. read more

I really like coming to Christy for my pedicures. The salon is so clean. An enjoyable and relaxing experience.

I walked in looking to get my gel nails filled in, upon walking in & everyone just staring at me, I kindly asked what was the wait time on gel nails & was told "we don't do that." Despite the sign outside & a customer sitting in the chair with her hand in the UV light, I was then told I could go down the street to another salon where they could help me. I'm highly disappointed because I've read such good reviews on this place, not sure why my money or business wasn't wanted, not going to bring race into this because I would really hate for that to be the case, but next time I suggest them not having signs up for something they "don't do." read more

I chose Christy's Nails because the price was right and she advertised the use of eco-products. The place is very cute -- a house turned into a salon. The owner was friendly enough. It was a little awkward being the only customer with just one worker. But I could have overlooked all of this if the gel manicure had been a good one. Unfortunately, this was not the case. The polish was applied unevenly and too thinly, so that the color didn't look even. The top coat near the nail beds was raised with rough edges; on the second day, the gel started peeling up at the edges next to the nail beds, when the rough edges would get caught. I needed a new manicure after a week. And I decided to go somewhere else. This salon either needs to use better product or better technique. The cheaper price is just not worth it. read more

From the moment I walked in, Christy only talked about her family's financial burden and health struggles. It was extremely awkward. She also had the appointment time wrong, so I had to wait 15 minutes for her to show up (open by appointment only). I went during the week for the summer special ($23 for a gel manicure) but was still charged $30. (She also charges $2 extra if you pay with a credit card instead of cash.) In terms of the actual manicure, it was pretty sloppy. She barely pushed back my cuticles, so the polish began peeling up after just a few days. There was a decent amount of polish on my skin that I had to take off afterwards. The place is very clean and she uses a new set of equipment on each customer, but overall, I was not impressed and I will definitely not be returning or recommending. read more

Best pedi I've had in awhile!! Going on 2 weeks with little to no chipping too which is fabulous!!! I will definitely continue to go see Christy. read more

I went here based on the reviews, and I was not let down! Christy and her husband are the most hospitable people, and he has quite a sense of humor. As she is by appointment only, you dont worry about being rushed or the place being full of people waiting (as its a bit small it would fill up quickly). I had a pedi and a gel mani and was very happy and impressed with the results. Her prices are fair and I love her work. She is definately worth returning to! read more

I'm not super pleased. The polish doesn't extend to the edge of the nail on some of my toes and my big toes look lopsided because the polish doesn't go all the way to the corner of one side. It was fine but I don't think I'll be returning. read more

Wow! This place is awesome. I had a mani pedi done with two of my girl friends 2 weeks ago and the nail polish on my hands and feet still look amazing!!! I've never had this be the case because I am rough on my hands. Their prices are great (and I looked around before going with them). Their website says that they are a green salon. My friends and I all agree that there wasn't any chemical smell (which is great because that always gives me headaches). I saw that they used OPI, which is an expensive and quality nail polish. They redid my friends color when she decided that she didn't like it and did not charge extra. I'm really happy with them and plan on going there in the future. Tip: You get charged less if you pay in cash. Also calling in and making an appointment is a must. read more

Found this little gem driving by & have been going back ever since! Christi, the owner, is the sweetest nail tech ever. Very personable small clean nail shop. Reasonable prices & very accommodating to her customers! I won't go anywhere else read more

A long time ago, I got acrylic nails for my wedding and the experience was so bad I haven't had my nails professionally done since. I'm glad I chose Christy's Nails for my second try. Christy is friendly and gentle, her shop is clean and smells good, and her prices are great! I'll definitely be back. read more

Christy's Nails is simply spectacular! My mother and I were looking for a nice and affordable place to get our nails done. Luckily, we found Christy's Nails and are so lucky we did! Christy was kind, respectful and courteous the entire time. Not only was she amazing, so is her work! I have never had a pedicure that incredible and my mom, who is hard to please, said that we have to go back. I think it goes without saying that Christy just gained some return customers! I will also be bringing my other family and friends here to get some awesome treatments. Thanks Christy! read more

Cristy is awesome! Great prices and great service! The environment is clean and enjoyable. Definitely would recommend!

CLEAN. Friendly, without being intrusive if you're talking to your friend. Doesn't judge nail biters. Took care of my damaged cuticles much better than I expected. Large selection of polishes, which all seemed in good condition. Regular manicure looks perfect, and my friend who had the deluxe shellac package was also very pleased. As affordable as some of the schools in town, but with a much better end result. read more

Christy was very professional, personable and definitely made me feel welcome. The Salon was clean and she offered every color of nail polish and gel imaginable. Her prices were very reasonable and she did a great job with the manicure and gel polish. I would definitely return and I highly recommend! read more

Checked the website before I decided to drive there and it said that they were open gave hours and days and said that sundays were by apt only. So I was surprised when after wasting my time to drive all the way there for the woman to tell MW she was by appointment only... Will not be making an appointment or returning read more

Went for brow & lip wax based on Yelp comments. Very clean surroundings. Christy was very friendly & professional. I'm very happy with the service & will try her for my nails soon! Usually go to Kenneth's, this was much better price and I enjoyed the "homey" feeling. read more

I REALLY enjoyed meeting Christy and her husband. They are hard working and dedicated to their customers. Christy is the only technician and she provided me with a fab pedicure for an excellent price. Make sure to call ahead for an appt! The owners recommend customers call before coming to the store. I stopped in on impulse, however, and was the only customer and was taken right away for a pedicure. Christy is experienced, friendly, and did a really good job with my basic pedicure. It is near my home and I will return to this business. read more

After my first visit I left a 5 star review...but my opinion has changed and I wouldn't recommend this place at all. My gel mani was very thorough and lasted more than 3 weeks... when I arrived at this appointment christy wasn't there so after waiting 30 minutes I called her & she came.... fast forward to second appointment... she wasn't there again at our scheduled appointment time and it's now 4 days after my gel manicure and nearly all my nails are badly chipped and even some nails completely broken. Her website says mention sale prices but she ends up never giving the sale price at the time of service. read more

Very sweet owner. Just she and her daughter own and operate the place. Very comfortable, thorough. I had one issue with the polish, which she fixed, but then 10 mins after leaving the salon I messed it up (in part due to the thick application because of the extra coat to "fix" the problem). I called back and the owner was quick to have me come back in and she completely redid all the polish. Great customer service. Complimentary water. Reasonable pricing. Overall great experience. read more

This was by far the worst pedicure I have ever had!!! There were two of us together that had appointments for pedis and they signed us both up like we would both be getting pedicures together! Well I guess that technically happened because the woman would do one portion of my pedicure then leave me and do my friends pedicure for a little while. During this time there is some salt s rub left on my legs burning and itching because she did a half a$$ed job of rinsing my legs and my water for my feet was cold by the end. a 40 minute pedi turned into an hour and half pedi! and there was no massage at all and she didnt even trim off the cuticles! I did pay at the end even though I was unimpressed, but I did think to myself that I would never return but I didnt want to casue any problems so i would let terrible effort of the place go. The owners husband is the acupuncturist there and just sat on his butt and helped her with nothing. Another customer came in when went to pay so Christy was doing her nails while we stood and waited to check out. her husband sat on his a$$ and said she will cash you out when she is done. WTF?!?!? Terrible service on his part!! We are already running late for dinner reservations because of them and now there is no effort made to cash us out promptly... when they knew we had dinner reservations and we were running late! AWFUL!!! So when I got home later that night I look at my feet closely and its the worst polish job EVER!!! I also have dried up skin on the bottom of my feet that she didnt even get off!! I have given myself a better pedi than this!!! Now that I really saw how poorly this was done I was getting angry that I did pay for it! So I called and told them I was unhappy with the work and I would like my money back, the husband told me "No refunds ever! you can come in and we can do it over."i told him I didnt have time for that and it should be done properly the first time and I wanted my money back. he got a complete attitude with me so I told him I would be posting reviews about his shop on every page possible and he had the nerve to tell me I could not do that and I better not!! hmmmm.... this is why this review has come about!! I would warn everyone to not go to this shop!! Awful customer service and terrible half a$$ed work! read more
