I'll cancel I said ok. Make sure I'm not charged twice.. We added $10 Total 49$ I have been charged twice. I brought it into the owner. She says it's a computer glitch. And it never happened. That everyone that day got charged twice. Noooo maaamm. Your employee wanted more $ and wanted to add a tip. I asked for a refund. Was denied. I called my card company, denied. went to this salon a few weeks ago to get my nails done for a wedding (my normal nail tech was out of town). the staff was nice and i was seated quickly, i normally get dip on my natural nails and it normally costs me around $60 at my normal salon. the color i wanted was only available in gel so i was recommended to get builder gel. we spoke about pricing and i expected to pay around $70 for what i requested and because i needed a tip for one broken nail. the tech did my nails and trimmed my cuticles and apparently that is a manicure.. fine. but the "trimming" absolutely mutilated my nail beds to where nearly every single finger was bleeding/burning. she was apologetic and she finished my nails. the gel was beautiful but when i went to check out my tab was literally $93. not at all worth the service i received and way off in pricing. i paid, left and definitely wont be returning. extremely sad about it too because everyone was so nice. read more

I used to love Allure! I would drive 45 mins just to see them. But my last visit was disappointing, to say the least. I'm shocked that this is how my nails looked after my appointment. What happened to attention to details? I don't mind paying a high price for a premium service, but this was not worth $85. I asked for a manicure, which was completed in 3 minutes. I have been to Allure a couple times for pedicures with decent outcomes. So just prior to vacation I splurged for my daughter and I to get pedicures and our our nails done. I chose a super simple dipped ombré French manicure, as apparently they couldn't do this with gel. The nails were super thick, glittery, and almost all white. I went back within a couple hours and they tried to drill down and add more pink, to no avail. The next day when we were at the resort my nails turned yellow. The entire trip I looked like a heavy smoker with glittery yellowed nails...ick. My daughter's gel manicure also completely peeled off by the second day. When I returned from vacation I had to pay another $20-30 to have the gross yellow nails removed. Waste of over $250 dollars. read more

I had an excellent experience! Allure is extremely clean and the owners Tracie & Kevin are very friendly and social. Diana is there too and she is hilarious! Tracie did my nails; her technique is gentle, precise and she had no problems maintaining my current nail shape and length. I got a fill in with a gel coat overlay. The price was also worth mentioning. They currently have 20% off balances (acrylic fill ins). I will come here whenever I am in town from now on! read more

I'm so very unhappy with this place and it's owner Tracy. I have went to this establishment a few times before this past Wednesday April the 13th and only because I couldn't get in my regular place I use so to them being so busy. I went in and my appointment was at 5pm so I got there @4:45pm and I was told I'd be with the guy who sets in the rear of the salon. That's no problem until I noticed something not right with this guy. He kept getting up out of his seat going to the back room/break room I'm told and not coming back for several minutes at a time. I noticed when he came back out set down his ball cap was pulled way down so I couldn't see his face/eyes. He continued trying to work on my hands while all the while he kept making weird noises with his throat and mouth,(IDK)but it really concerned me. After he set for a while I noticed him start nodding out continually with the brush in his hand while doing so. All the while he is dipping brush in solution and constantly nodding out and running the brush and solution all over my hands and up my arm. I counted several times him nodding out and I'm trying to get him to stay awake so I'm trying to clear my throat very loudly to startle him to awake to finish the job. By this time I'm so shaken by all this and while he's holding my hand trying to work on it he's really squeezing it hard and trying to stay awake. I asked for a completely different thing then what I got but I didn't make a deal because I was just wanted to be done and leave so I wasn't making a fuss of it. My fingers are very sore from the dremel he used from nodding out it kept burning my skin and my nails look awful and I've learned my lesson and I'll never go back to this establishment again. As soon as I left I called that night left a message for the owner and she had an employee call me back and ask the problem and I said I didn't wanna speak with her I wanted to speak with Tracy and she did call me back later the afternoon. I didn't get the impression she even really cared about what happened she showed no compassion at all and didn't offer nothing for my troubles and she has still never even apologized for anything. I did wanna go back yesterday and get my nails fixed or even today Friday but her employee and herself Tracy informed me they had nothing available so all she did was refund me my money and said nothing further.!! read more

This is the best nail salon in all of Columbus metro area. I chanced upon it when I used to live in the area. After moving all the way downtown I've been forced to continue driving up here because they're that much better than anything you could get downtown or in Easton. Dip manicures last way longer, they take care of your natural nails (don't over sand them), and they have a great points/ rewards system where you can actually shave dollars off many of your visits. Got a pedicure here before my trip to Florida. I have been here two days and already on one toe the polish has peeled off. I have had pedicures at other salons that lasted the entire vacation. Not happy that I will have to remove polish from the other 9 toes or else look like a slob. Other than that I have to say my whole experience there wasn't enjoyable. The water in the bowl was cold, the woman who did my pedicure was rude-no small talk just ordering me to "put your foot here" etc. when you pay $40+ for a salon service part of it should be the spa experience and relaxation. Mine was none of that. The salon is beautiful, clean and I would love to find someone there who could make the experience worthwhile. read more

This Salon charged me $5 extra for the length of my nails and they were active length. They charged me $5 extra for the shape of my nails which was coffin shape. $20 extra for gel polish $14 extra for the chrome powder over top of the gel. I mean they charged me for every little thing, i'm surprised they didn't charge me for sitting in a chair. I got a full set of nails and the cheapest pedi they offered and my bill was $169.00 after tip $189.00 absolutely ridiculous. Horrible I'll never go back!! read more

I have to say i have been to my fair share of nail salons. Being the savvy person I want to be, I often look for deals and groupons for a good service at an affordable price. In my search for yet another salon, I found Allure via Yelp. I figured I would try something new, as they are one of the newer salons in my area. After my visit, I will say I plan to not goto any other locations. This place was just great! The prices were right in alignment with all other nail salons, and if not sometimes a bit cheaper. They offer a 7% discount if you pay with cash!! (didn't know that my first visit but now i will for future ones). I was really unsure of what color to get, what I wanted as a design. But I just wanted something fun and different. The guy I had was so GREAT! He was interactive with me, helped by suggesting the color to get, and created a small design that went well with the color. It was simple but cute! Another bonus - they have several colors of GEL polish and MATCHING nail polish. No more trying to get the shades as close as possible. My Pedicure was the best I have ever had. Their chairs we also comfortable. I was there for 1 hr for Gel Mani (w/2 nail design) and Pedi (mid grade). It was great! **THIS IS A REVIEW OF THE NAIL TECH -- AMANDA -- NOT THE STUDIO ITSELF** My first visit to this salon was fantastic. It was quick, my nail tech was great and the price was fair. But then I went back and got Amanda. DO NOT GO TO AMANDA. I went to the salon and told Amanda I needed an acrylic full set. She started doing my nails and once we got to the end she said she was going to do a gel top coat. I asked her if they always do a gel top coat because I usually just get regular polish with acrylics and she said yes bc they have to with "the powder." I asked her multiple times what it was going to cost bc my friend had just been there and got her acrylic set for $32 dollars. Amanda laughed and said she must've just gotten a manicure, still not telling me what my total would be, but saying she'd have to go up to the register and "punch it in." Once she was finished she finally called my nails "solar" and I said, "I didn't ask for solar, I said I needed an acrylic set," and she told me that I sat down and told her I needed a solar full set. We got to the register and the total was $74.90...I told her "I'm sorry, but this is ridiculous I asked for acrylic nails. I'm not paying $74 f***** dollars for nails." Mind you, I was crying and low key hyperventilating at this point so I came off as pathetic, not rude for dropping the F-word. Amanda then proceeded, like a true sociopath, to tell me that I told her that I always got solar nails and I wanted a new solar set. She brought the manager up (lied to him as well) and then said if I didn't want to pay I could soak them off. So, while still crying, I sat down and waited to get my nails soaked off. The manager then took some pity on me and said I could just pay $50 and leave. Though the price was still $20 more than I what I wanted to pay, I really just wanted to get out of there so I took the deal and left. So, the nail studio itself was great the first time I went....but if you go, make sure you DO NOT get Amanda. read more

I came here with a friend to do my nails for the first time in a few years and I chose the dipped nails. I loved them and was thrilled to have something new, but there was a lot of separation between the nail and the extension they had glued on, I felt like this wasn't right but I am new to nails and I brushed it off. Eventually I had to get them removed and once off the man who was doing my nails that day remarked on how sanded down my nails were from the extensions. He wasn't wrong, my nails were very thin and went given too much pressure they started to split on the sides. He tried put polish on my nails, but after they had dried they already began to chip because six out of my ten nails were splitting. I work with my hands a lot and because of the weakness of my nails they are sensitive now. At the end of my session, no one had told me my nails were dried so I kind of just sat there for a while without knowing. read more

Fellas. If you want to surprise your wife with a mani/pedi don't do it here. My friend and I decided to hook our wives up. We went and paid for two allure packages thats was 78$ before tip. The guy asked if we wanted to add gel. What ever that is. We said yes. Do it up. While our wives were there we asked how it was going. They said it was good but they had to pay extra for gel. Since we told them they didn't need any money I ran back up to pay the extra and talk to the guy we set it up with. Of course he said it was extra and he didn't know we wanted it. So I paid an extra 14 to get them the gel. Once we got home we found out that they did give them what we paid for. They only did a basic when we paid for the extra. This is a dishonest establishment. I couldn't decide if I wanted to leave this review or not. I used to go here way back and had Tracy do my nails. She is wonderful and highly skilled. I returned back after a couple years to see their new salon. I had been unhappy with my acrylics and willing to pay extra to have perfection. I had a guy technician this time as I needed a particular day. I expected everyone to be good...not the case. I ended up leaving very unhappy and paid $70 for an acrylic full set with regular polish. Everything seemed to be an upcharge--$10 for length, $7 for shape, $5 for accent nails. I wouldn't have minded this so much if the nails looked halfway decent. However I've paid much less for much more beautiful acrylics. These are just thick and clunky, the shape is off and not even. I'm disappointed and will not go back. :( read more

Initially I thought this would be a great salon. My first few services were fine. Over time when getting balances on acrylic nails, I noticed air pockets forming under the acrylic. When air pockets are not filled, they spread causing more lifting of the acrylic from the natural nail which adds a greater risk of the nail breaking or worse-fungus. They dismissed my concerns and left the air pockets there. My last visit was my final one for several reasons: I had spoke directly with the owner to schedule my appointment. When I arrived she was working on another client and "forgot" about my appointment. She had me go with another tech who burned me with the drill and said both acrylic thumb nails needed to be removed due to lifting. Surprise--the air pockets had spread causing weakness to the nail. And of course they uncharged me for the nails separating due to the air pockets being ignored during fills. This tech was rushing-burned me with the drill. When I selected a color and he started polishing my nails, the polish was thick and not going on smoothly. He stopped to take it to the back room (presumably to smooth it out by adding polish thinner to it). When he came back he didn't remove the polish from the first few nails, but continued on to polish the rest. As soon as I got home I re-polished them myself. I won't be going back. As this place has gained more popularity through word of mouth around Lewis Center the quality has gone way downhill. read more

A fabulous belated Mothers Day gift from my eldest amazing daughter was an outing with her for a mani/pedi . My nail tech was Rachel who I think is a gem. I traveled from Colorado for this appointment that my daughter arranged , and could not be more pleased with my nails, and 3 weeks later my feet / hands still look fresh!!
