One of the best moving teams I've worked with. Juan and his team were professional, courteous, and very hard working! They packed up a 4 bedroom house in a few hours and unpacked in about half of that. They went above an beyond when it came to our washer and dryer being willing to pick up new ones at Lowe's and bring them to the house. It pains me to say this about a local business, but please beware of Pro Movers LLC, owner Juan Quinones. He had excellent ratings and I paid more because of his ratings and because I wanted to support a small business in our community. My recent move has been a nightmare. I had numerous issues, but the most troubling is damage to almost every piece of my new furniture that was moved. One end table was completely destroyed and Juan took ownership of that damage and he also took ownership for 2 chips on a very expensive nightstand. So far, I have discovered damage to 4 pieces of furniture and I still cannot get to my other furniture, unfortunately, I expect to see more damage. Yesterday, I contacted him to discuss a resolution and he turned the narrative around and put the blame on me, of course saying that all of the damage was pre-existing, even though everything is brand new, has never been moved before and I offered to provide my receipts showing this. He then told me to do "what I had to do", even as his website states " We're here to serve you and we guarantee your satisfaction." He had a new, inexperienced, very young employee and I definitely think that had much to do with the damage. Several times I saw both Juan and the other mover showing him the proper way to move things. I hold Juan responsible, as a new employee should be properly trained and qualified before they move a household of a person's valuable and sentimental items. read more

Love these guys! Did a yelp search, had 4 responses immediately they were first to respond. I checked them all out. What if you only have to move heavy furniture down three flights of stairs in the snow 1 mile to a consignment store? And you have to do it within the next 24 hours? Well I called and Juan and his team of guys came within the hour. They film wrapped my sofa and recliner, put mattresses in proper bags, delicately took apart bed frames and lamp shades. On and on, not a detail in top notch transport care was missed! And I was only going a mile. They also were willing to drop off a few items to the donation center. Call this group. I was impressed! In the past when I have needed movers I have had movers show up late and in one instance, they just didn't show up at all! Pro Movers arrived on time. They worked quickly and were polite. they were nice guys, and I was a bit disappointed in a number of things, even given it was a bit of a complex move. In hindsight I would hire a company that cost a bit more to get more reliability. Here's what they did well: - friendly - wrapped stuff well in blankets and shrink wrap where required. The things not so good: - no paperwork or signing prior to beginning. I realized I had no idea if they had insurance or who was liable for breakage. So I brought it up and asked that we handle that before they continue. Got it handled, just didn't seem very professional. - showed up with a 16 ft truck when the pics of what I was moving and descriptions clearly required a 26 ft truck. But this probably only cost me and hour or so as we needed two trips. - the assistant was a pretty skinny kid and while they had said they could move a piano, Juan was concerned the kid might not be able to handle it; a bit disappointing not to get the piano moved after they said they could do it. - canceled last minute due to an emergency so I had to reschedule some things for the next day - then arrived half an hour late on top of that (there was construction, but I took the same road and got there on time). - they were sent access instructions for the storage lockers directly by the agent, as the agent wanted only the movers to have the access codes. But they hadn't read the instructions and seem to have trouble following them (e.g .one required calling 2 hours ahead). So that was a bit of a mess until I got the instructions and managed it from there on. Anyway - nice guys - and we got the job done. Just a bit of uncertainty and took about 3 hours longer (and $500) more than I had planned on. In future I'd get a more established company running a tighter ship. Hopefully this feedback will help you guys to get even better Juan so these things aren't an issue in the past! Thanks for helping me with a complex move. read more

MAKE SURE YOU CONFIRM THE DAY BEFORE!! I wasn't on my computer the day before they were going to move stuff from my garage to my basement, so I didn't see his message on Yelp / email to confirm. I sat here waiting for them to show up for almost an hour before I decided to get online to look for their phone number. That's when he told me he hadn't scheduled anyone because I hadn't confirmed. They broke one of the tubs carrying stuff (I found the remains on my stairs - they never brought it to my attention). All of that being said - Juan did get a crew out to me the same day. Even though they arrived two hours after I was initially expecting, they got everything moved into the basement before I had to go. They really, really worked hard and I'm very happy to have it done. read more
