3 days agoNEW-Edit Delete In response to Justin/Todd B. from Skyline Movers - First, the foreman on my move did indeed offer to rent me moving blankets for the storage unit - one time, not three as he expressed. He did not talk to me about the importance of keeping the blankets on the furniture in the storage unit. He did mention renting blankets one time, and honestly one time is enough. What I was not aware of however, is how they would take the blankets off before putting items in a storage unit, which still makes no sense to me. Put the items in, move them where they need to be and then take off the blankets. My unit is large enough to where most all furniture, other one or two small kitchen chairs , does NOT have to be stacked and it was mostly not stacked (again other than the two small kitchen chairs). Non furniture items like the boxes were stacked. Also, even if they take the blankets off before putting furniture into a unit, they should still be careful with the items and treat them like they are their own belongings. In addition, the sofa would fit into the elevator. The first team that moved me, from Skyline, actually got it into the elevator successfully with no damage. So, what was stated is false. And lastly, the reason my nativity set (that was not glass) broke, is because the movers dropped the box. It would not have been broken had they not dropped it. _____________________________________________________________________ In March 2024 I used Skyline Moving Company to move from Colorado Springs to a storage unit in NoCo.  I had used them once previously (also in March 2024) and had a decent experience.  However with this move, while placing my furniture in the storage unit the movers damaged my furniture by scraping it against the concrete floor and banging it up against the metal wall.  They also dropped the box that held my nativity set (that cost $379.00). And taking my sofa down three flights of steps even when there was an elevator to use but they weren't skilled enough to get the sofa into the elevator .  When I filed my claim, the owner followed up with me, and told me it was my fault because I did not rent the moving pads to keep on the furniture for the storage facility.  And that it was my fault that the nativity set was broken because it was not wrapped in bubble wrap.  He took zero responsibility (other than saying he would refund me $150 for the insurance I paid) for his movers being careless. How is it my fault that they dropped my nativity set box?  And that they scraped my furniture across a concrete floor and banged it up against the metal walls? First the movers should have placed the furniture where it would go in the storage until BEFORE taking the pads off.  Instead of taking them off and then moving the furniture into the facility, causing damage.  Next, even if the pads were off of the furniture moving it into the facility, why on earth would you bang the furniture  up against the wall and scrape it against the concrete floor?? I am certain they would not treat their own furniture this way.  The owner's tone was hostile and when I told him that he and his company lacked integrity (which is true) he said he could say the same about me. He had no basis for saying this, as I was being honest with him.  The one positive is that the movers were generally nice (although they showed up at 10:15 am when they were supposed to be there between 8 and 9am).  Movers in general have a bad reputation, and this is the reason why.  Please steer clear of this company. read more

I chose to book with Skyline after reading their fantastic reviews. No regrets! What I look for in a moving company and what Skyline provided: - Easy booking process and good communication - Upfront, competitive pricing with no hidden fees or unreasonable add-ons - Punctual and prepared with all necessary materials - Friendly, "normal" movers - Efficient, but also, careful - Place furniture where I ask - Final bill is the same, or reasonably close to, the quoted amount The guys at Skyline met and exceeded my expectations! The booking process was super easy. My call was answered by one of the owners, he asked the basic/necessary questions, offered to do a free walk-through (which I declined), and gave me an extremely reasonable/ competitive quote (11th floor, 1 bedroom move to a 2-bedroom 30 min away). I even had to change the date of my move soon after booking and the owners were very accommodating. Throughout my booking and moving process I interacted with Kris, Dallen, Frank, and both of the owners, all of whom were extremely friendly and communicative. Kris and Dallen were my movers and they were amazing-- so friendly, respectful, hardworking, and efficient! I can't say enough good things about these guys! They called to let me know they were on their way, arrived right on time (actually a few min early), did a quick walk-through and had me sign the contract with an estimated time frame, hourly rate, and standard insurance options. The final bill was exactly within my estimated price range (and very reasonable). Moving can be hectic, and there were some unexpected/chaotic circumstances during my move (not their fault), but these guys handled it like the pros they are. Kris and Dallen were so professional, attentive, and friendly. Not one broken or damaged item, which is rare in my experience! Moving is stressful, so do yourself a favor and just book with them now. I would absolutely use these guys again! In case you're wondering, I did not receive any kind of discount or compensation for writing this review. I just want to help other stressed-out movers, like me, connect with a great company who deserves your business! read more

Our moving experience with Skyline this past week was hands down our BEST moving experience EVER. We had a team lead by Logan (Kody, Austin, & Tyler) of 4 guys who were top notch. We moved from an apartment in Cherry Creek to a house in the North Highlands. When you receive a quote, they give you an estimated range of time for entire move, ours was 4-6 hours - they were able to move us in 4.25! These guys were great, super nice, super helpful, and you genuinely felt like they cared about you and your furniture - not a complaint all day and full of smiles and boy did they HUSTLE. We had a terrible experience with movers previously so I called and spoke to Todd in the office and gave him a heads up - he was so understanding and definitely sent his A team! While the guys were moving us out of our old place, we actually had another resident tell us she was about to move and we recommended them on the spot! A couple of other things about Skyline Moving which make them stand out - 1) Many moving companies in the Denver area charge you by the hour but start the clock when they leave their warehouse (this is usually on the other side of the city). This can legitimately add 2 hours to your time if there is traffic that you are paying a company for and getting no service. Skyline doesn't begin your clock until they arrive and they stop it once you are completely satisfied with your move once it is complete. 2) Most moving companies also charge you a fuel surcharge - I found most to be between $100 and $200, Skylines was $75. 3) They take credit cards and charge no additional fee! We were going to move forward with another moving company until they told us they charged a 4% credit card fee - Skyline DOES NOT. 4) Skyline was able to fit us in last minute with no problem just a week before our move date - fantastic service! Lastly, there were no surprises or hidden fees. We got exactly if not better than expected and will ALWAYS use Skyline Moving in the future!! read more

This was the least stressful move I've ever had thanks to Skyline Moving and my husband. Justin came out to our home and gave us an estimate. He was very professional, upbeat, optimistic and confident that their team could handle our move. The house we were moving out of had a long, narrow gravel driveway and precarious stone steps up to the entryway. Moving in was a challenging mess, and let's just say that I will never use the other moving company again, but I would definitely use Skyline again in a heartbeat! Our moving team was comprised of Bret, Nate, Dallen and Logan. Each of the men was very professional, polite and efficient. They came prepared with plenty of blankets, plastic wrapping, tools and straps. They were very patient and Bret especially took great care with each of our belongings, even the artwork and some big glass pieces that needed to be transported carefully, he treated as his own. All of the men were careful, thorough and thoughtful with how they handled our things. Logan managed to get my fragile, decorative curly willow branches all the way to the new place without an issue. Dallen and Nate were very personable and prepared and very careful as well. The team communicated well with eachother and worked very well as a unit, especially when handling some large furniture that had to be removed from a loft down a wooden spiral staircase! Their communication, led by Bret, allowed the challenge to be handled with ease. My husband got the team a quick lunch and they even "clocked out" while they were eating and didn't charge us for the 30 minute break. Their pricing was upfront and the best rate we could find for 4 movers and a truck. I highly recommend this group and will definitely call them again in the future if we ever move again. Thank you Skyline Moving! read more

i have used Skyline twice within the last 4 months, Nalu, and Noah were the guys in the office who helped us schedule our moves and both are very kind & helpful. The star of our recent move, though was Christopher; he is one of the hardest workers I have ever seen on a move. Both our moves with Skyline went as well as I could have hoped for and both were under very different circumstances (I have previously left a great review for the first move; this one is for the second move): Christopher was the head-mover on our recent 2-man/1-truck move. He really is an amazingly hard worker! The move was not an easy job as it was from one apartment to another with a lot of boxes and heavy antique furniture. Christopher was kind all day long and we were so impressed with his efficiency and dedication as the move continued. Early in the day there was an unexpected change when the number-two guy on the moving team went home sick and a replacement stepped in to help finish our move. i do not mean to make this whole review about Christopher, but he was a methodical & unstoppable force in the face of many glitches that were beyond his control on move day. We also had some torrential rainstorms come through, which caused us all to have to wait until things could again be carried to the truck. He offered to help us with any little detail we needed at every twist and turn of the day. I was also in a fender-bender on move day and Christopher asked if I was okay and was genuine in his sympathy for my mishap. We thank Christopher & Skyline for helping our family with two big, complicated moves; obviously we would highly recommend them and would hire them again in a heartbeat! read more

After buying our first home together, we were recommended to Skyline through our Mortgage officer and couldn't have been happier with the experience! Hands down the best movers we have ever had in our entire lives. Period. My partner and I are both east coasters and have had our fair share of moves, him more than me (21 times!) and out of all 21 moves this was easily the best one with the best operating team. Justin was amazing from the start with delivering great customer service as soon as I told him I needed to schedule a move only 10 days away. Noah came by to do the estimate and was a pleasure to work with, followed up with a call and explained everything to me in detail. The estimate came in with very clear notes. On the day of the move, we had to last minute ask for some packing help and Justin was right on it and sent two extra people and an extra truck and some packing materials. If that hadn't happened we would have gone way over the estimated time and would have had to spend more time moving. Our move team was nothing short of world class: Joe, Brandon, CJ, Spencer, Cody, and Cameron were all exceptional. They moved everything with care and efficiency and worked so incredibly well together. We even came in right on time for the estimate, which has never happened in our experiences. We will recommend Skyline to anyone that asks because all movers should strive to work with such excellence as they do. Moving is never easy and is so incredibly daunting, but the team at Skyline made the moving experience both memorable and enjoyable despite the long hours. We can't thank you all enough! read more

I contacted 3 moving companies to compare services and prices. Justin was quick to get back to me, came out and gave me a very good estimate, and was very kind. From my initial contact to his followup about my move, I felt like Justin was concerned about me the consumer. (His crew talked highly of him too.) He is contentious young man who worked hard and diligently to provide me with any information I needed and he was very good with estimating what our moving needs were. He is also from the Northern Colorado area. Justin's crew was great too. We had Brendan, Zach, Logan and Tim come to help us do our partial move from Greeley to Ft. Collins. We are a retired military family and so we have several moves that we can compare this one too. This crew was outstanding. They worked hard, and they were extremely careful with our household goods. The communication from this group started with a "we are on our way" to an on time arrival, to "is there anything else we can move for you?", even after they were done for the day. They gave us notice of what they would be doing as they were in transit and let us know if they had any concerns with moving any of our items. Again, this group was fabulous and we really enjoyed having them with us. We have a partial move left and we will be calling and requesting this group again. Lisa (Jan, 2019) read more

Called a few highly rated companies on yelp and chose Skyline for our move. They didn't have as many reviews as other companies, but the reviews they did have were very good. One thing that stood out over and above the other movers upon initial contact was Skyline wanted to come out to my home to do a walk through and dial in the estimate. They did and the move ended up costing the exact amount of the estimate. They were really good with communication prior to moving day and showed up when they said they would. Skyline's "clock" starts from when they arrive at your property and start work, not when they leave their warehouse. I liked that too. We did have one major hiccup that they handled well: As they started to operate the liftgate on their truck one of the hydraulic lines burst and it became inoperable. They immediately called in another one of their trucks and in 2 hours they were moving. They did not bill me for the 2 hours we lost while awaiting the replacement truck. Also, the two movers Logan and RJ were awesome - very courteous, respectful and efficient. There was not a single bit of damage to any of our property, not even a scratch.. I know this is pretty hard to believe, but true. Next time I need a mover, We'll be calling Skyline. read more

Braydon and Brent did an excellent job moving me from an apartment to a house in Lyons. They showed up promptly at the start time, and were spot on to the estimate of time given. These two guys worked the entire time... and didn't slack off at all! I had just had new hardwood floors installed in the new location and they took care to set down the furniture gently. They even assisted me to re-position furniture as I was attaching felt protectors to the bases.Braydon and Brent did an excellent job moving me from an apartment to a house in Lyons. This was my first time using professional movers and it was the best experience ever! I made the move from NoCo to Denver and these guys were so fast, efficient, and careful. They took care of everything and I had nothing to worry about. They were so polite and courteous as well. Thank you Justin and Trevor for making my move the best it could possibly be. I really could not be more happier with my experience, and will make sure to tell everyone who will listen about them. When I was first looking around for a company to use to book, I noticed the fantastic reviews right away and after getting a quote from them, their rates were much lower than other companies. I was so satisfied with my estimate and service over the phone I convinced my mom to book with them for her move in the following week. (She refused at first and shopped around, until she realized the great pricing as well and also had a great interaction while getting a quote). There are no hidden fees, no surprises, they did all the work and we actually made it under my initial cost estimate! Thank you thank you thank you!!!!!! read more

I had a terrible experience with another company that left me with my furniture in pieces and heavy boxes all over the apartment, such that I could not arrange furniture and unpack. A friend hired Skyline Moving to come in and basically clean up the other company's mess, assemble my furniture, move the boxes, and help in whatever way I needed. Andrew and Brandon were awesome--they were professional, they strategized as to how to use the time I had most effectively, they made sure that they left me well positioned to finish the remaining tasks myself. They were also just friendly and nice--I am new to the area and they offered friendly advice and commentary. They called me "ma'am." They called my pets by name, stopped to pat them, and always checked to make sure no one was escaping the apartment. They were very careful to keep track of time and ended up using (and charging my friend) for one less hour than anticipated, having efficiently done everything we needed. I would hire them again in a minute. (Also, I have no idea why the icon says that I am in San Francisco. I am in Colorado.) read more

I cannot express enough good things about our experience with Skyline Moving company. First, scheduling with Noah & Jackson couldn't have been any easier and they were both professional, patient and kind. Then on our move day we had 5 guys and 2 trucks and the process was not only seamless the guys made it enjoyable. All 5 of them had such a positive attitude and were an absolute joy to be around for the entire 7-hour day of moving. Alex, RJ, Relijah, Sam and Ray were a dream team! The guys were helpful, kind, funny, respectful and professional. Not once did any of the guys appear annoyed or exhausted (and we had two 26 ft trucks - so a ton of stuff to move). They made our move memorable and easy. They treated our items with care and respect and nothing was damaged. We will never use any other moving company again and plan to request these guys again by name. If you are on the fence at all about using Skyline Moving, don't be - you won't be sorry you hired them to move your things. Thanks for an awesome experience! read more

Best Moving Company!!! I had the pleasure of dealing with Ricky Ashwood and Clayton Wright a few weeks ago- they are both extremely professional, polite and efficient. They both have excellent communication, letting me know when they would arrive at my home, how long the load would take and what the process would be once we arrived to my new destination in Durango. I knew exactly what to expect. They treated all of my belongings with care and respect, wrapping my furniture and items they felt where extra delicate in plastic to protect them. This move is a major life change for me, moving to a new community, starting a new job , beginning a new chapter in my life and they made the first step SO much easier that I could have ever anticipated. I would recommend Skyline Moving and Ricky and Clayton in a heartbeat! And when the time comes to move again I will be reaching out to Skyline Moving and asking for Clayton and Ricky. Thank you both for making everything so seamless and for treating me like family! :) read more

My review begins with the very first phone call to inquire about services and was asked to leave a message. Response back was within 10 minutes. Stephen was awesome! Initially stated a Friday move and asked on the off chance if they had a crew available next day, Wednesday and he did! Matthew and Jaxson arrive exactly as promised and communicated with me before showing up on time. They reviewed my move requirements and went straight to work. My 26' truck was unloaded and placed in the rooms I designated in three hours! The guys hustled! They were very friendly and talkative, reiterating throughout the process "we want your belongings exactly where YOU want them". I couldn't have asked for better gentlemen to help me on this move. Will definitely use Skyline again AND recommend them for my daughter's moves in Colorado. Highly professional and these guys were fabulous to work with every step of the way. Thanks Skyline, it's a pleasure to support small biz in these crazy times! read more

We looked and comparison shopped several movers in the area. Skyline was the most professional, had the best pricing, and was most thorough, ultimately, in the planning process. They came to our home twice before the move; once to give an estimate, then again a few days before the move to adjust their quote to be more accurate. They were prompt and courteous both visits. On move day, our guys, Mike G. and Paul, were amazingly fast and strong! We moved from 1600 sqft to 830 sqft and they followed our labels and got everything done two hours short of the estimated time! They also had a crew chief show up about an hour into the move to make sure we were happy with how things were going... just excellent customer service all around, guys! Needless to say, we tipped Mike and Paul as generously as we could. I hope not to move ever again, as it is a real pain, but these guys made it so much easier! I would definitely use them again and recommend them to others. read more

Skyline Moving is hands down the best moving company in the area! They arrived right on time and started prepping all the furniture for the move. We couldn't believe how quickly they had everything prepped and the care they took to pack our belongings. We have a lot of antiques and they were careful to do things like remove mirrors from the top of an antique dresser, decorative hooks from a hall tree, great wrap our curved glass curio, and take the beds apart. When we arrived at the new home they placed every piece exactly where we wanted it - sometimes even moving heavy pieces a few inches to get it just to the right spot. The beds were all put back together and placed just where we wanted them! This company really cares about their customers and has the expertise and equipment to get the job done right. They have our wholehearted recommendation and we will make sure all our friends know about these guys. Thanks Skyline for a top notch moving job! read more

can't say enough positive things about Skyline Moving Company!! Our crew of Mark, Chris and Yared did an incredible job. We had some unplanned last minute packing to do and while this could easily be burdensome to most the crew made it feel the exact opposite and quite painless. They made this move from a four story apartment into a three level home seem elementary to them. Their strength and stamina throughout the entirety of the move was quite remarkable. They worked very efficiently as a team and were just delightful to work with. I could go on and on about how wonderful this team was and how they exceeded expectations through and through! But if you are looking for a professional, respectful and all around great moving company who will make sure to take care of your belongings than Skyline Moving Company is the ONLY way to go. Thank you again for making what would have been a stressful day a completely uncomplicated and smooth process!! read more
