I had numerous issues, but the most troubling is damage to almost every piece of my new furniture that was moved. One end table was completely destroyed and Juan took ownership of that damage and he also took ownership for 2 chips on a very expensive nightstand. So far, I have discovered damage to 4 pieces of furniture and I still cannot get to my other furniture, unfortunately, I expect to see more damage. Yesterday, I contacted him to discuss a resolution and he turned the narrative around and put the blame on me, of course saying that all of the damage was pre-existing, even though everything is brand new, has never been moved before and I offered to provide my receipts showing this. He then told me to do "what I had to do", even as his website states " We're here to serve you and we guarantee your satisfaction." He had a new, inexperienced, very young employee and I definitely think that had much to do with the damage. Several times I saw both Juan and the other mover showing him the proper way to move things. I hold Juan responsible, as a new employee should be properly trained and qualified before they move a household of a person's valuable and sentimental items.

The move was across town. 15 minutes later we arrived at the new place and they got to work moving me into a 2BR apartment on an elevator-served 3rd floor. It only took 1-1/2 hours to unload everything (1hr less than estimated), including unpacking my clothes into the closet and putting all the big pieces exactly where I want them. I don't like moving (who does) but would definitely use Pinkdotmoving again if I did. Highly recommended!

After I informed the movers of the first damage, to the bureau, I overheard one of the movers mocking what had happened, saying that on his suicide note it would read that he damaged a bureau. This morning, I discovered the entire front part of my electric piano leg was ripped off. All of the damages (of the ones I have found so far, as we moved just under a week ago) were completely avoidable and are reflective of the lack of care and respect for us and our things.

We kept going back to Watson because of Jordan, and eminently professional mover with an excellent eye for negotiating large furniture through tight hallways. our amoire alone has daunted other moving guys, but not Jordan. One of their guys suffered a knee injury so the next day the owner of the company, Joel, came out to cover for him himself! It was a big move and there were lots of challenges, but the Watson guys never complained once and kept a positive attitude throughout. The 'Manager' texted and said they will not be finishing tomorrow and will not call us back. Do not believe their quote. Do not believe their timeline. Do not believe they are professionals. Do not believe the job will actually get done. And do not believe they will actually show up on time.

To start, the two movers were kind and polite - I want to give them credit for that. My reservation was for 12 PM, and I was told they'd arrive between 12-1, but I didn't receive a clear heads-up on timing and they showed up at 11:58 AM. They began billing as soon as they arrived, and since I don't live on-site and was running behind picking up the truck, I ended up being billed for that time. I understand part of that is on me for running late, but clearer communication would have helped. Unfortunately, the actual move is where things went downhill. Furniture was dropped, pushed through doorways, and not handled with much care. I have a white couch that I've kept in great condition, and they laid it on its side and dragged it across the floor of the storage unit and truck. By the end, it was covered in black dust. At the time, I was trying to be understanding and didn't say much - especially since the manager asked for feedback over the phone while I was standing right next to the movers. After everything was done, I discovered damage to multiple door frames in my home. That was the tipping point for me. I now have to pay for repairs and likely professional cleaning for the couch. I wasn't planning to leave a review, but given the extent of the damage, I felt it was important to share.
