Since this was our third time using Watson Moving and Storage, they were kind enough to give us a returning customer discount. We moved from Texas to Estes Park and they unpacked our truck into our house that time, then came out a second time to unload another truck from a storage unit we had in San Diego and then when we finally bought a house down in Loveland, they came up a third time to move us down there! We kept going back to Watson because of Jordan, and eminently professional mover with an excellent eye for negotiating large furniture through tight hallways. our amoire alone has daunted other moving guys, but not Jordan. One of their guys suffered a knee injury so the next day the owner of the company, Joel, came out to cover for him himself! It was a big move and there were lots of challenges, but the Watson guys never complained once and kept a positive attitude throughout. Now that I've moved into my house, it's unlikely I will need them again anytime soon, but I recommend them highly. read more

A complete joke. I do give credit to Jordan and the moving team, but beware of the "office and ownership" They do not honor their responsibilities... then treat you as if it's you're fault that they don't do their job. I have contrtacts that state what they must do monthly. THEY DID NOT. Oh, then the calls ...almost stalking me. No bills, statements, I called and they originally made me believe they were owning their mistakes... but no. They are tryimg to charge me more. AVOID THIS JOKE OF A COMPANY AT ALL COSTS! They may have been been worthy in the past, and I imagine the father figure that started this is rolling over in his grave. SAD! read more

I would not recommend this company to anyone. The experience necessary to estimate a move was significantly off [Was quoted for ~2k and the cost came in over ~3k], the moving date was rescheduled due to their own staff quitting without notice, they supplement their own moving staff with labor from Labor Ready [but charge you the same rates as the employees from Watson Moving -- which is more than labor ready is charging], and they send out smaller than necessary teams for large moves. In the end, I ended up helping move my own house [that took ~17 total CREW hours to complete], working with people that weren't employees of Watson moving and storage, and receiving a total of $200 discount [Which didn't even cover the day I took off from work to help the understaff crew finish my move]. If you're stuck between moving the items yourself or hiring Watson Moving...I would recommend you go to Labor Ready or another staffing company and hire people from there. You'll get the same quality of people, have to provide the same level of supervision of the crews, AND you can get your house moved for less. read more

Do not use this company to move you! It has taken me a long time to calm down enough to write this review because it was such a horrible experience for me last year. I had used them three times previously and had a wonderful experience, HOWEVER, I found out that another person owned the company at that time. He had some health issues and sold the company to his nephew, the current owner. If I told you all the things that happened, this review would be pages long! Trust me. Any ratings you see that are good about this company are not recent ones. The owner quoted me a very high cost for an out-of-state move. I asked him numerous times to explain why it was so high. How did he come up with that? No answer ever. He charged me the wrong amount for insurance and added on different bogus charges after the contract was signed. He was rude and unprofessional during the whole process. I put up with it because all of my possessions were in his storage area for a short time and I was afraid he would hold them hostage if I stood up to him. Only until after I had everything unloaded and in my house did I let loose on him. There were so many unethical and unacceptable things that happened but it makes my blood pressure go up just talking about them so I am going to stop. No one should go through the experience that I had but, reading some of the other stories, it looks like I was not the only one. I had to talk to a lawyer to get him to stop sending me extra made-up charges and threatening me on the phone that he would do more. I paid way more than I should have and had to go through hell getting my stuff delivered. You get what I'm saying. Run the other way! read more

Just had Watson Moving and storage move our kids today and it was a great experience! On time, personable and competent. I only got Keith's name but he and his associate did a wonderful job! Huge, HUGE buyer beware. I know this is long but please read prior to making your decision on a moving company. To Joel of Watson Moving and Storage, and whom it may concern: I do not appreciate being hung up on or accused of harassment when your company is acting extremely unprofessional and is not returning our messages OR following through with anything you've promised to do. My wife and I have every right to contact your office to obtain insurance information and ask why our calls are not being returned. We have every right to call and demand our property be returned immediately. You have an obligation to provide your insurance information. You have absolutely no right to keep our property, whether or not your employees damaged said property. Also, I don't appreciate being lied to. I demand my headboard- the headboard your employees ruined- be returned to me today! As a result we have a $5000 mattress sitting on the floor and I do not have a place to sleep. Physically, I am unable to get up and down easily from the floor, thus this needs to be remedied immediately. All the while Joel is refusing to return our messages. Now- We purchased your "insurance" which clearly states 'a $500' deductible and "full replacement". I have argued with Joel, "any damages caused by his team need to be fixed by your company". Joel has insisted the insurance (insurance I was coerced to purchase on the day of the move) needs to cover the damages. What I have found, is the "insurance" your employee coerced me into purchasing is non-freaking-existent. It does not exist. Joel has also stated your insurance will only cover $.60 a pound. Two things...First, this is a lie. Second, I did not opt for the insurance waiver, which specifically states on my receipt "full replacement" up to $25,000 with a $500 deductible. Joel has also stated he went over the insurance with me when he gave the estimate. Again, this is a lie. I was told insurance was specifically for the items I was planning on storing with your company- specifically as it pertained to my firearms. I told Joel in no uncertain terms, if he insisting the insurance I purchased (from Watson) cover the damages, I will pay the deductible and see him in court for the amount of the deductible. I'm certain a judge will rule in my favor specifically because you are duping and coercing your customers into paying for a pseudo insurance plan- POTENTIAL CUSTOMERS NEED TO KNOW THIS Lastly, Joel states I requested the headboard your employees damaged be repaired. This is yet ANOTHER lie. I did not request the item be repaired. I was not given an option. Once again, I demand the headboard be returned to me IMMEDIATELY, and I demand a replacement be delivered ASAP. ONCE AGAIN, the furniture company we purchased the bed from has the item in stock. Additionally, your guys damaged (ruined) a new 65" Sony TV, my daughter's desk, my son's shelf/cabinet, scratched our dining room table and put a hole in the wall of the new condo we are leasing. I have repeatedly requested Joel contact us about the additional damage and he has not returned a single message. We have ALSO requested Joel come to our home to inspect the damage ON THE SAME DAY OF THE DAMAGE, and again he refuses to return our messages. At this point you have not left us any alternatives. We demand you forward your insurance information immediately. We have contacted our insurance company- State Farm- and they have contacted their legal department. State Farm is now requesting your insurance information. I have a call scheduled with an attorney at 3PM and he has requested we obtain your insurance information as well. Please stay tuned for updates and we apologize for being repetitive, but you will be seeing this review on Google and every other social media site we can find! BUYER BEWARE! SHADY, SHADY SHADY. We had the privilege of using their services twice in the last six weeks as they moved our old furniture into the garage to make room for several rooms of new and then moved the old into a storage unit when one became available in town. They fit our needs into their schedule, were incredibly polite and efficient and treated our antiques with care. We will certainly call on them again for help in moving all the items out of storage to their final destinations. We heartily recommend them. read more

Had a sliding door they removed when moving items out of house.The door would not slide easily and would bind. Called several times to have them come by and repair and they said they would be by to look at. Never heard from them again, not one to complain about small stuff but repair and inconvenience a bit pricey. Also other damage to furniture which were minor, If you hire them, good luck! read more

These guys are awesome!! They just moved all our belonging into storage for us. There was a little glitch on the pup trailer our things were suppose to be stored in, it was leaking, and of course they could not put our things in a leaking trailer. They bent over backwards to solve the issue and put our items into a storage unit. I did not want my things moved twice before we find a house but they took extra care with everything. Positive attitudes even on a cold and snowy day! Pleasure working with them. I look forward to having them move us in. read more
