Our experience with Progreen has been nothing short of a nightmare. Despite paying them in full, a staggering $21,680, for what was promised to be a professional and satisfactory wall installation, they left the wall INCOMPLETE, failed to meet the necessary building codes... and worse!! Progreen had not worked with a qualified engineer for the project, even though large walls exceeding 4ft in height require expert engineer guidance throughout the construction process. Our wall is 6 ft high and 71 feet long. Progreen texted that an engineer was not involved and proceeded to write that an engineer did not have to be involved-- demonstrating ignorance of code and raising huge liability issues Adding insult to injury, Progreen disregarded the approved design that was agreed upon by both myself and documented on the site plan and instead installed a completely different shape of wall without permission. This alteration not only violated our agreement but also raises serious concerns about their integrity and credibility as a company. When confronted with the issues raised by the inspectors, I reached out to Progreen in search of answers and resolution. Shockingly, their response was rude and dismissive and bordered on gaslighting. They dared to label our valid concerns as "crazy" before abruptly cutting off communication entirely. In light of these appalling circumstances, I strongly advise anyone considering hiring Progreen to hire someone else. Their lack of professionalism, inability to meet code requirements, and willingness to alter approved designs (without any communication, discussion, or approval) demonstrate that they are an unprofessional and unsafe company. read more

I am the President of our HOA - we had them for our common ground landscaping - last year was the first year and it was great! Jonathan was on the crew and things looked good - this year the crew was changed - had no idea where or what to do - did nothing this spring to the trees or weeds in the beds - didn't cut the grass where they were suppose to - crew was fired but can't blame them totally - they were never given any instructions for our property- had several conversations with the owner Todd - he always seemed peeved when I called - left an overgrown mess for our new company to clean up! Less than 1 star in my book for sure! This company will promise you the world and you will end up with weeds and overgrown shrubs and grass! read more

Beware of Pro Green! If there was a way to give negative stars with this, I would do it. I have spent the past several months trying to redo the mess this company caused. "Landscaping" by this company was given to me as a $7000 gift from a friend. This job is sub-par, incomplete, and a disaster that I'm redoing myself even though the crew knows I'm disabled. We are both extremely disappointed in the workmanship, lack of professionalism, and finished product. Todd claimed to be a landscape architect but we couldn't find this info on his card or website. The group of workers seemed very concerned that they got in and out as quickly as possible they would arrive at approximately a 9:45 AM and they had to leave by 330 pm (so they would miss traffic) they also took at least an hour long lunch with no real concern about finishing the project or about making sure that it looked good. Three times I had to request that they not return with certain workers who just stood around not working. They didn't prepare the land before they put down the sod so the landscape has as many weeds as when the project started. On emails and in texts sent to Todd, the scope of the project included digging holes twice the size of the plant's root balls (they dug tiny holes, smashed the plants in) resulting in over 50% of newly purchased plants to die within 3 months), they never did the 4"-6" borders specified for the borders and sod and all garden areas where they were to install black rubber/plastic borders similar to the one installed previous to the project. They planted flowers and bushes on top of grass without preparing the soil, and they did no spraying of the beds for weeds or grass and just threw the mulch over the weeds and grass. This took place in Sept-Oct 2016. When I contacted Todd by text in January February and March 2017 he asked me to send pictures of all of the weeds and how bad the yard looked along with the weed killer that I had already spent more than $200 on. I sent what he requested multiple times and asked several times how he planned to move forward and finish the project and got no response. Three weeks ago I finally sent a text saying that if I didn't hear from him within five days I was going to put this information on yelp. When he called back he was on speakerphone and a friend and I listened as he cursed and screamed at me then promised he would come back spray the yard and the garden beds, mow the yard and spray the sod, that he would make sure that they did the edging as promised and then he hung up on me and of course I never heard back from him worst "professional" I have ever had to work with and absolutely the worst $7000 ever spent. I have spent weeks spraying, digging up and moving or throwing away bushes, trees and flowers, and pulling weeds. I hope yelp allows pictures so you can see the "job" that was done. I'm sure Todd will respond to this with anger and lies. He can use anger management, ethics and positive communication classes. Worst/wasted $7000 ever spent and the only negative Yelp report I've ever been moved to write. Beware of them and don't work with Pro Green if you want a good job done well! read more

Pro Green saved us in a big way! We had a "professional" install pet turf in our back yard. Before going out of business, this company did not irrigate properly, compact the dirt properly, lay the proper gravel and did not lay any infill. In less than a month we realized the turf would need some major repairs to correct the problems. Pro Green gave us several options and prices. We chose to have them make everything right. We have been extremely pleased with the work they did. They corrected all the errors and omissions from the other company. We had a slight ancillary problem - it was addressed and corrected within 2 days! We are very, very pleased with Pro Green. We heartily wish we had known about them when we first started this project and recommend them highly!. read more

I have had service with pro green in 2013 for fixing the grade for my backyard and fence. They were very expensive and I expected a good quality work. However, the quality of service and customer care were horrendous. While they were doing the work, I have had to tell them that they were not doing right to the manufacturers specification and showed them the videos on the catch basic installation. They were very unhappy that I was correcting them and gave reasons that did not make sense. They did not carry proper basic tools to get the work done. Also they did not use any tools to measure the gradient, I even asked how can they make sure the grade is correct. The answer was that they were professionals and that they just know it from experience. I trusted them. Part of the work was to fix the grade near the basement to drive water away from basement. After the work is done a week later it rained and grade was still bad as before near basement. Water was still flowing towards basement. I called and mailed them to complain about it, after many calls they told they would come but never turned up. After that I have mailed and called so many times over 3 month period got zero response, I had to give up. Now I plan to put a concrete slab to fix and end spending another grand on it. I would not recommend pro green to anybody. I have had the most unprofessional experience with them. read more
