We went to InOut labs in Morton Grove and can I just say what an AMAZING experience we had! I spoke with a live human here multiple times (Aileen) prior to going and she reassured me, took her time and talked to me as to what to expect. We made an appointment and we were the only ones there. They don't take insurance but we knew this ahead of time and obviously we can submit for insurance later. We just went to get her blood drawn and after prepping our daughter for weeks, I can just say she did amazing! The lady there are even had some little toys for her that you know she probably went and bought on her own in anticipation of My daughter coming. Thank you a million times!

Since you're working with medically mindful people, it feels very professional and safe, especially during the pandemic. You name it. If I qualified, I've done it: supplements, fad diets, desserts, snacks, paper towels, plant-based meat alternatives, just to name a few. If you're in one of the more extensive studies, they have dieticians and doctors on staff to monitor your vitals and other conditions. You're in good hands. The pick-ups for product testing are pretty efficient and most taste tests take less than 30 minutes. I like the setup for the tastings, too. You kind of have your own little cubicle and the food is passed through a sliding door. At this time, contact with others is pretty minimal, they do a decent job of social distancing, and masks are still required. The only thing that's not my favorite is that you get paid by a debit card that gets loaded with funds and that can sometimes take a few business days.

This is the only time I can remember feeling like the doctor wasn't somehow antagonistic or condescending. They also seemed to place a pretty high priorty on mental health, which is really vital for me personally. The app is also quite nice. Like it shows all your vitals and history and stuff. I'm too anxious to take advantage of the 24/7 chat thing, but that's an awesome feature for times when you just need to know what to do. It's hard to believe that the one star review guy below is being honest, because at my baseline after 6 years of not being at the doctor, they didn't spring a bunch of random issues on me to extort money. In fact, the one plan we made was for me to work on my sleep patterns and exercise, which requires no money. Seriously felt like the first time I wasn't being pushed towards spending more. There's also the fact that their monthly plan generally means no extra costs, which means they have no incentive to push anything on you cause it won't get them any extra money. On that note, the one downside is the price. It's $150 a month. If you have high income, I think it's a no brainer. If you have to go to the doctor frequently, like if you have many medical concerns or are a senior or whatever, then it's also pretty good and could end up saving you money. Another possible use would be if you can pick a much cheaper insurance plan that just costs covers hospital visits and other externals, and then let this be your complete primary care, you might save money there too. For anyone else, it's probably not worth it honestly, no matter how cool and comfortable it is.

We have seen her once a year or twice a year for three years for my two son's various flu and other injuries. We are so grateful she is there. Please don't leave, Dr Kelly! If every provider were like her, our medical field would be serving all patients SO well. Here's why: She always thinks of everything without me even asking, from meds, to at home things to do, to a school note, without hesitation. She always makes a little bit of small talk with my sons, but it's like she really cares. Bonus: The place is clean, the front desk staff is friendly, calm and efficient. They smile and are efficient and great with insurance and I haven't ever received a crazy bill from them ever. The wait time has never exceeded 15 minutes. We are out within 45 min including payment and lab tests. I am not getting paid by them to say all this stuff LOL haha! I made an initial appointment with a doctor at One Medical after my health insurance assigned their…read morepractice as my designated PCP. I was really pleased with how easy it was to set up an appointment on the app. I uploaded my insurance information on the app and presented it again to the receptionist when I arrived for my appointment. I saw the doctor and was pleased with my care. However, I needed a prior authorization for a prescription and everything went downhill. Long story short, I contacted One Medical three times by app (as instructed) to request the PA. The app has read receipts, so the staff saw my request. I never received a response. A week before I was going to be out of my medication, I was finally able to get in contact with a customer service rep at their corporate office. She was very apologetic about the issue and had the office manager reach out to me. The office manager told me they didn't take my insurance and that they would not do the PA. I felt like the office manager was blaming me for the issue. However, my insurance company assigned One Medical to me, said One Medical was a participating office when I called, and had them listed online as in network, so I didn't appreciate the insinuation that I did not do my due diligence. One Medical had multiple opportunities to let me know that they did not accept my insurance, but chose to ghost me until I reached out to corporate. I was left without care and with an empty prescription. It was difficult to find a new provider on such short notice, so I had to go without my medication. Had One Medical paid attention when I booked my appointment, showed my insurance card to the receptionist, or during the 3 times I reached out about my PA, I could have started the search earlier and found a new doctor. One Medical is careless at best and negligent at worst. With so many other options in Chicago, I could not recommend One Medical in good faith.
