My collector, Aileen, was not only very kind, but she made me laugh, and she made the situation very calm.

So, I did, but every time I did I got the same error message. Then, about 5 minutes later all of the time slots that I had chosen were "accepted" and I got about 10 emails and text messages saying that my appointment was confirmed. I'm not sure if I ever did have an actual appointment but I went to this location anyways since I had to get a screening done before a certain day. When I went I wasn't able to ask anyone what was happening with their online system since you are only able to check in at a kiosk and there is no person working at the desk. After the time had passed that my appointment was for I tried asking someone working there what was going on (as they were walking another patient out) but they said to just wait. Eventually, I was able to be seen even though they claimed that I had never made an appointment even though I got a verifying text message and the kiosk even scanned my ID. When I was finally seen it was very rushed and I could barely understand what was going on and what I was supposed to do since the woman helping me was talking so fast. Overall, would highly recommend not going here if you can help it, although I've heard the Park Ridge, Peterson Ave and Milwaukee Ave locations are not much better.

She couldn't take out the way and didn't know if I have an ear infection or not. I hate waiting and waiting to see a nurse practitioner. It took me like 2 hours almost 3 for me to leave there. They were so disorganized too. If it was a Sunday and I really needed to see them then I would go but otherwise I wouldn't.

Though this is an immediate care center, and they see patients for all sorts of reasons, our personal experience has been fantastic. We are always juggling my son's school schedule, and we've never had to wait in the waiting area longer than 10 minutes. And this is during the pandemic! The front help desk couldn't have been nicer and more thorough. Since my son's doctor is out of the North Shore network, they called our dermatologist to make sure his standing order was confirmed. There were others waiting in line, but that didn't make them rush. Not to be too gross, but my son is really new to this whole drawing blood procedure (he's 14). They were careful to find a good vein and made him feel very comfortable and safe. He can't handle a shot, but drawing blood is a smooth process here. The waiting room is very spacious, and they only let a few people in--even if it's a walk in. If there are too many people in the waiting room, they will send you back out and have you wait in the car until called. Upon entry they took our temperature and asked us the typical Covid screening questions. There used to be two access points, an elevator and stairs, but now you can only enter via the elevator and exit via the stairs. This is a safety precaution to keep people moving in one direction. They have plexi shields everywhere, including on their faces. We felt 100% safe. We were in and out of there in a matter of 20 minutes. We have a closer location we could go to, but we will be back at this location next month, since they've been so great to my son. Parking is plentiful.

I visited here for my child to see an ENT. The facility is fine; it's essentially a doctor's office…read moreassociated with Lurie rather than Northwestern, as there's no emergency services here. I was more than a little surprised that they don't have any sort of toys here for kids. My kid's pediatrician, dentist, etc. and even some children's stores we've been to have some sort of children's activity to keep them occupied. There was also a woman here who just was not friendly and seemed like do judgy, like she doesn't expect children to act like children--for instance, when my kid ran behind their reception counter because they left the door door to that area. There's lots of parking, so we had no issue there. Our appointment was fairly quick; from check-in to leaving took at most 45 minutes, and that's including seeing the physician and getting an x-ray. They must bill in 30 minute increments because the doctor said he saw us for 30 minutes, but he was with us for MAYBE five, so if they don't that's a little questionable.

From start to finish, the nurses were so kind, patient, and informative. They went out of their way to make sure not only my son was comfortable and happy, but that I felt supported and at ease every step of the way. Thanks to their care and compassion, my son went into surgery with a smile on his face--and came out with one too. I'm beyond grateful for the amazing team at Lurie's. We truly couldn't have asked for a better experience!
