The building was confusing to navigate, parking was unclear, and there was a line at reception when I arrived. By the time I was finally able to sit down at the reception desk, I was two minutes late. Despite that, the doctor refused to see me and told me I would have to reschedule. I understand offices need policies, and I respect that appointment schedules matter. But for a first-time patient dealing with an unfamiliar building, unclear parking, and a backed-up reception area, refusing care over two minutes felt unreasonable and dismissive. There was no flexibility, no understanding, and no effort to account for the circumstances. This was a very frustrating and disappointing first impression, and it left me feeling like patient experience was not a priority here.

Really? I have no idea what those questions are. Another bate and switch, this time by the doctor's office and my insurance, Its the new "pre-existing" conditions so that insurance doesn't have to pay. I asked the doctor to change the coding on the annual visit and he wouldn't. I'm not going back and deciding my next course of action. I warn you to stay way. Find an honest healthcare system to work with.

What's more, I was frustrated that I would still not be guaranteed a visit with the actual Dr. on my billing and listed with my insurance - the person I actually made the appointments to see. I stopped seeing my former PCP because I'm working from home instead of downtown now, but I'll just make the trip. Check-in is always a breeze, the nurses and assistants are always friendly, the overall feel of the place is professional and clean, and I've never had any billing issues. They're also patient and kind indulging my nerves when I'm getting blood drawn and getting vaccinated! I've seen a few doctors here and have always had great care. My primary care physician is Dr. Jessica Kennedy and I can't say enough positive things about her. She's knowledgeable, listens carefully to my concerns, and either has the answer or refers me to an excellent specialist. I'm also very happy with Dr. Mark Romanelli, a dermatologist who does annual skin exams and recommends great products to ensure healthy skin. As good as it gets!" and in this case, I could not agree more. The office itself is great. The staff are nice and seem pretty organized, and I book my appointments online without issue. I am also usually able to get a spot within a reasonable period of time (not 6-8 weeks out like so many Chicago doctors). However, the real reason for the 5th star is Dr. Reyes. Dr. Reyes has the best bedside manner of any doctor I've ever seen. She actually takes the time to listen to your symptoms, concerns, and history. Dr. Reyes also seems to genuinely care about my health and well-being as much as I do, acting sympathetic toward even seemingly minor complaints. Miraculously, she is able to give this much attention to her patients and STILL her office runs on time. I don't know how she does it--I've never waited more than 5 minutes for an appointment. I first saw Dr. Reyes in January 2014 when she was with the Advocate group. I was disappointed when I called later for another appointment and they told me she was no longer there. The staff had no information on where she was practicing or how to contact. I was forced to try other PCPs, and it was only when I needed a check-up in 2017 that I finally found Dr. Reyes again. The new location is beautifully appointed in a modern mid-century minimalist style. There's a parking lot for free parking. There's a fully stocked Keurig coffee/tea machine and two comfy stylish lounge areas. The staff is wonderful and accommodating. Dr. Sunje is so friendly and nice! I know I am good hands in his care. (I don't know what that previous 1 star reviewer is saying... Anyways it's common sense to delay treatment of veins if you are trying/ or are pregnant.) I also have seen Dr.Chan and he is a great and friendly doctor as well. I have had two procedures here: ultra sound guided laser and schlero therapy. I have already noticed an improvement in both legs in terms of circulation. This office also has a cosmetic side: Cosmetic Institute of Chicago They have great facials! I go to his office once a year for an annual physical and when I am very ill. He has a smaller practice that allows us to have more time with him, not just a nurse practitioner. He also uses an online portal to schedule visits (even on the same day). One of my favorite things about his practice is the ability to be able to contact him (with serious questions) without having to go into his office. He offers his cellphone number and will actually answer and/or call right back. Once I was out of town and needed a referral for an out of network hospital visit; he gave the referral over the phone and even gave me necessary paperwork when my insurance tried to bill me for being 'out of network'. The office is always clean and I appreciate that he is not pill happy. In my experience with Dr. Lindeman, I would say that he does not overprescribe medications. Sometimes my husband and I will joke that the opioid crisis would be solved if we all had to go to Dr. Lindelmen for our prescriptions. In 12 years, he has only prescribed me with 2 or 3 different medications when I really needed them. And once, after a severe allergy to a penicillin (penicillin was prescribed by a dentist), he helped me get back to my normal self by prescribing only the medication that I needed. I definitely recommend Dr. Lindeman because he is a no-nonsense family doctor with a small practice and time for his patients.
