Honestly the office ladies here are phenomenal. All are so sweet and caring. I am a type 1…read morediabetic. I was going for my second sensor insertion. I was very disappointed. I had originally called the company to make sure I qualified for the bridge program and I did. Upon my almost 2 hr drive to his facility they informed me I was not covered and would have to pay $300! After deciding to just go with the removal, he then said he would do it for $200. I still politely declined and that's when he turned sour. He got very short and I wasn't even numbed when he went to cut into my arm, and it was a painful experience. He had me sign the paper and that was it. Me and my husband were very disappointed with our visit with Dr Wool this time around and will not be back. I would only come back for the nurses. Nothing else. Bad vibes were very present today.

The lady on the phone (wish I'd gotten her name) was SUPER-sweet; giving me all the info I'd need, timing, paperwork, website, directions etc. She was SO sweet. I hung up smiling. It's a rare thing nowadays to find a friendly Doctor's receptionist, most of them are mean with a capital 'B' !! My second experience was calling a couple days later to say "I can't wait a week to see you. Can you please see if there's a way to get me in sooner?" to which she searched and was able to get me in same-day. Now I realize this was probably luck, but i was THRILLED not to have to wait since I was concerned about what was going on with me. Fast forward to the day of my appointment, and man did I continue to be impressed! A NICE office, with sturdy furniture, and comfy chairs. FRIENDLY receptionists. I waited no longer than 8-10 minutes and was brought into the room. The doctor walked in within about 60 seconds. I saw Doctor Witkowski. He was very-friendly. Walked into the room cracking jokes, and introducing himself. He seemed to listen to what I was saying, looked me over, and explained what he thought it was. Overall, I would highly recommend this place. Everyone was great, and I felt very comfortable. They get 5 stars in my book ALL AROUND: receptionists, waiting room, Doctors, cleanliness & friendliness, etc... If you find yourself in need of a surgeon, check them out.

When…read moreI called the woman who answered the phone was completely clueless and could barely understand anything - I had to repeat and spell my name about 5+ times. Then she told me that consultations were done via zoom which I had no problem with. But she told me she was not sure how to set up the virtual consultation. I couldn't understand how they could offer virtual consultations if they didn't know how to set them up? Then she kept telling me that there was a "girl" who sets them up. Clearly there were language barriers. I was emailed from an undetermined email a number of days later, with no heading from the email, no practice insignia, address and not even the person who emailed me signed. She asked me if I was still interested in the consultation and said yes. I was told I would be sent a zoom link the DAY of my appointment in the afternoon. I was also told that even though the appt is made at 5:30pm the doctor may not show up a tithe time and he might be late. The day of my appointment I received a TEXT with another person's name confirming the appointment. I texted them back letting them know it was the wrong person. The person who texted apologized, misspelled my name, and had spelling mistakes in the text. She then told me I would receive a zoom link later on. This is starting to sound like a horror story. Then I get texted saying that the doctor wants ME to email HIM with a zoom link. What kind of practice/doctor would ask a patient to email them a zoom link for a virtual consultation? This is of course contradictory to what I was told would be done. What a complete joke. I cancelled my appointment as if they can't even get a simple consultation right, who knows what kind of results can be obtained from a surgical procedure. No thanks. The woman who texted me told me how they were "too busy" to set up virtual consultations. What a joke. Clearly not up to medical and adequate surgical standards in my opinion. As a physician myself, your staff can make or break you. While I have never met the physician himself nor do I know what his abilities are, his staff is clearly an atrocity. Rude, inept, unprofessional. No thanks. I guess you get what you pay for. Found the deal on Groupon. Things now make sense.

I was a bit concerned when I read the one other review about him. I'm glad I went forward. Mom had her last appointment with him today. He was very caring...she has dementia and he allowed for that in all of his visits with her. Very patient. Because she couldn't stand at her first follow-up appointment, he wrote a script so she could get an x-ray at the rehab facility. He was cautious with his recommendations re weight-bearing, his follow-up appointments were right on time (nice, considering we had to use a Medi-Van. His staff was courteous and professional. He gets 5 Stars from me. She was released today after her second appointment....60 days after surgery. No pain since about 3 weeks after surgery. He'd be my guy if I ever broke my hip. Excellent doctor, in my opinion.
