I was able to get in quickly after a fall at home. After an initial consultation, X-rays taken and I was sent home with a splint and images.

Service and office visit was fine. Went in with flu symptoms. Very quick office, (approx. 5 minutes ) visit with Dr/PA/NP??? where I explained symptoms. Ran a multi illness test (flu, COVID, Strep etc...). Confirmed I had the flu and advised on recommended meds. Shock came with billing, $1,841for the visit which took approximately 30-40 minutes (mostly waiting on test results). Price gouging at it's best. After insurance, out of pocket $559.50. Do not go here for compassionate care! I explained that I was in pain and needed to be seen for a uti, had driven from another urgent care 20 min. away because my insurance was not in network at the firat center. I asked to get a cup and use the rest room as this would be the next steps....instead they got all about explaining that I couldnt be seen until I completed all the insurance paperwork for a new patient. NEVERMIND HOW MUCH PAIN I WAS IN! I didnt have a card readily available as HR was emailing it from my new job. So they reminded me that they were about to close and suggested an ER....seriously ignored a person in pain having a difficult time. They just wanted to wrap up 45 min early. They would have had a patient for ever had some compassion existed but when you are more interested in rules than patient care...you should get a low review. I cut myself very badly on Sunday morning while preparing a brunch for friends. Hubby drove me to AFC Urgent Care in Willowbrook. The reception desk was confusing: hubby completed my paperwork, but the receptionist asked me to have a seat rather than send me to an examining room. Blood was dripping down my arm!! Thankfully there was only one other person waiting, because sight of blood could have caused some consternation. It's probably a liability issue to make someone wait, but the blood was not a pretty sight. Dr Mahmoud was very skilled in suturing my thumb and was pleasant: he put me at ease: greatly appreciated. He did a great job, but waiting in the reception room was much too long and should have been expedited. read more

I am preparing for a big trip to Hawaii, which takes it's Covid guidelines very serious. In order to travel to Hawaii you need a negative covid text 72 hours from departure time. I made an appointment here two weeks in advance and I love their electronic booking system. They confirm my appointment and I was all set. The day of my appointment i checked in, did my test got all the paperwork and was finished in 30 minutes - The office staff is super professional, polite and knowledgeable on what's needed to travel. HAWAII TRAVELERS BEWARE: this place will tell you that you can walk-in but will flat out dismiss you when you show up. I am traveling to Hawaii in the next 48 hours, when I called in they recommended I walk in for the appointment. I drove all the way from Chicago and when I got here they said extremely dismissively put their hands and simply said to try online or go to another testing center (that's not an option). My some twist of fate I got an appointment online and came back. It gets worse. When I got back, there was another guy arguing with them at reception and they were not willing to help him at all. One of the girls even suggested he go to Chicago (not an option) and find a testing center there. BUT when a couple came, and said the same thing reception was like "let me move some things around for you" and out of now where found not one but TWO appointments for them. Wtf?? read more

Pediatrician not available-do they see sick patients anymore? School recommended Urgent Care. My daughter was seen for sore throat. The place was clean and staff was efficient. The NP did a thorough exam and had a nice bedside manner. We needed COVId test for school. Merideth recommended strep test to confirm what she suspected was strep not covid. She was right- within 3 days symptoms gone, a week has passed all is normal again. I'd go back- first time utilizing urgent care. read more

I went in for an ear infection that came from an upper respiratory virus. The "doctor"prescribed me Amoxicillin which I thought was fine until I realize Amoxicillin only treats bacterial infections. I figured I would just try it anyways and see if it worked, having faith in this prescriber. It didn't work. I went back and saw the SAME doctor a week later, only for her to give me attitude and treat me like the whole thing was my fault. And then suggested Mucinex and Flonase. I go to Walgreens and ask the pharmacist if this would be the correct route to go having a Viral infection, and he said NO the amoxicillin wouldn't do much of anything besides MAYBE kill any bacteria from the virus, but overall wouldn't treat it much at all. He then put me in the right direction with Sudafed explaining that it would shrink the blood vessels and help get the fluid out of my ears. I WOULD NOT recommend this location, as the doctor does not care about the people walking through the door or doing their job correctly. Only wants to be "right". Not to mention there's VERY little proof that nasal decongestants help ear infections. DO NOT GO HERE. read more

It is a nice facility but they charge 3-4x what other nearby urgent care facilities charge. The "office visit" alone was charged at $400 and we only went there to get a strep and flu test. They also don't break out the charges on your invoice so you have to do additional research to make sure you are being invoiced correctly. read more

I'll make this short and sweet. Front desk staff was rude and obviously did not want to be there. Very robotic and were aggressive when asking for my insurance card. There were long waits despite being the only patient in the entire waiting area. It took 1 hour to get 2 X-rays and the nurse practitioner failed to do a thorough exam. I needed an MRI, but due to no broken bones per the radiology report she said I was fine. When the bill came in they charged for miscellaneous line items that had nothing to do with the visit. I recommend going to a regular doctors office over this place that doesn't care about people or even pretend to. On a positive note it was clean inside! read more

Great care overall. I took 2 of my kids in to see the doctor at AFC for sore throat and cough. We were in and out in 45 minutes. If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. I will never step foot in this place again. A member of my family or I have been here several times. Out of 4 visits, the billing was incorrect or different from what we were told 3 times. I've been charged when I've been told I wouldn't be charged. Probably the worst customer service I have had in my life. The front desk ladies are extremely rude and uninformative. Having to take 2 covid tests within 48 hours because they didn't put it on the right form. I'm having to pay both visits at minimum $300/visit. When I explained the confusion, I was called a liar by Maria or whatever the front desk ladies name is. She works Tuesday mornings. When I asked for her supervisors information, she hung up the phone. DO NOT GO HERE. You're going to wait a long time, they'll treat you like crap, and you're hoping they do their job correctly. I live in a 60 story high rise in the city and work in an office, so I am constantly exposed to covid. When I told her the confusion, she called me a liar and insinuated that I wasn't exposed, as ridiculous as that sounds. I work in insurance especially with these types of urgent cares all the time. I've never experienced such bad treatment from these facilities until I became the patient. Very sad. read more

Price gouging at its finest. My wife and I went there for a TRAVEL covid test and they charged us two different amounts. My wife was charged $255 and I was charged $95. They claim I was undercharged. The main point is they argue that an office visit and a doctor visit needs to be done to make the test valid. I call BS. The doctor walks in and asks "where you traveling to?" Then hands over the negative test. We had no symptoms, there is no need for vitals or a doctor visit. Do not visit AFC! They were not willing to make this right after repeated attempts. read more

Called and asked if they do drive up COVID testing. Person shared they do but only with an appointment. Was told results would be ready in 15 minutes. Booked an appointment, and when I arrived everything was going as expected. Filled out forms in my car, gave my license and medical info, and was told someone would be out for the test after I complete the forms. When my forms were complete, called and someone came out to get them. Then they said someone will call you when they're ready for the test. When I received the phone call I was told to come in! I then was brought to a room and was told someone would come in to give a test. After waiting a few minutes I got anxious as this is not what I had expected. A person eventually came in to swab my nostrils and told me after I got my vitals checked I could leave. Shortly thereafter the vital person came in and told me the doctor would see me shortly. I said I was only there for a COVID test, which I was getting out of an abundance of caution. She said they didn't do that and everyone sees the doctor. I said nobody said that, and she said "well, we get a lot of calls." I told her I was uncomfortable and ready to leave. She said I could leave but they were still going to charge me for an office visit. This group is taking advantage of the current environment, and need to be clearer with people. We walked into the AFC urgent care clinic at Christmas time when it was extremely busy with travel and omicron related Covid testing. My daughter had Covid symptoms and we needed to know if she was Covid positive because we had guests coming into town. AFC urgent care agreed to test us without an appointment, minimized the wait and were extremely professional despite the pressure. I recommend this clinic. read more

Just went to AFC this morning for a foot injury and the service was unbelievable! I was 3rd or 4th in the waiting room when I arrived. The wait time between each step in the process (waiting room, nurse taking vitals, doctor consultation, x-ray, and final consultation) was never more than 5 minutes, and the total visit took less than 1 hour from when I walked in the door. They were able to x-ray my foot, send it out for a radiologist consultation and get the results back within 10 minutes. Everyone in the office was extremely friendly and helpful. The office is new, clean, bright and spacious. All around it was a great experience, and I will definitely come back here for my and my family's urgent care needs. read more

My pregnant wife got tested for COVID here back in Nov 2020. They came to her car to swab her. It was a rapid test and it came back positive so they brought her in to see a Doctor who asked a couple questions. The clinic is in our network but the Doctor just so happens to be out of network. Just last week (almost a year later) the Doctor sends us a bill for over $250 for Office Eval and Management Services, so essentially to tell her she was positive and to stay home and rest.
