Had to have all my struts done along with tires brakes air conditioner and few other minor things. Rubix was helpful and got me back on the road with a day at a fraction of the cost that the Toyota dealer wanted. I'll be going back because he also does body work. read more

Saw this place while I was working in the area. I had my 07 Prius towed in to the shop battery issues won't start or take a jump.spoke with Rubik he took great care and worked with my budget Thanks read more

200/100 I want to start by thanking everyone at Prius Express for your knowledge, patience, and dedication to providing the best service. When I brought my car to this shop, I brought it with missing parts and the parts I did have needed to be replaced. They literally had to start from scratch to put it back together. Although I thought it might be a shot in the dark to have someone repair my car and that I might have to just deal with selling it and buying a new one, I wanted to give this place a shot and I'm glad I did. My car runs better than it did before and I haven't had any issues. If you have a Toyota Prius, go to this place - they know what they're talking about and they will give you honest advice. Thanks again for everything and I'll see you all soon. read more

My Prius came in on a tow truck, on a rainy Monday afternoon with the shop already full. Rubik said he wanted to let me know what the problem was & he & his team jumped on my car & hooked my 2012 Prius up. After a bit they directed me to the waiting room but said they could fix tge problem and the Prius Triangle of Death in this case was only a warming. Rubik told me the car was ready within 2 hours I was back on the road in my Prius. Helpful, efficient, honest, and reasonably priced...what more could a Prius owner want. I called on the phone and they seemed fine. And when I got here absolutely nobody helped me. I waited in the office and nothing. I asked a member for help and just gave me attitude. I ended up leaving because I go no help whatsoever. Don't go here read more

Good service and good prices. I was recommend to them bunny neighbor who also has a Prius. They've done me a solid favor several times.

I was recommended to come here through a highly praised suggestion recognizing the business efficiency and prices. Andre originally helped me and was able to identify and fix the problem right away in a fast manner. Rubik then proceeded to help me with a separate issue. Rubik was super helpful, polite & considerate. I will do all my Prius business here along with recommending this business. Thank you guys! read more

Great service. Fair rates. Quick turnaround. The fact that they focus on Priuses(Prii) is what made me excited to check Prius Express out. Not all mechanics are familiar with these cars which always made me wonder if they knew what they were doing. Glad to finally find a specialty shop for what is now considered such a common car. Andre the owner is great, straight to the point and very knowledgeable. I've been here 3 times and have referred friends and colleagues here as well. If you have a Prius there's no reason why you shouldn't check this place out. read more

I had to get a new water pump and a sensor replaced on my Prius. They were 1/3 of the price of a dealer and were able to replace the parts in a couple hours. They are clearly no frills, no waiting room, paid cash, and most of the people spoke very little English, but it if want it done at rock bottom prices, this is the place. read more

-Lied about replacing my engine. -Followed up more than 5 times over a year until he actually replaced it. -Got air in cooling system twice. overheated and rev'd like it was dying -Owner and workers always disrespectful. This one employee keeps staring at me with crazy eyes every time I go there -He does this remarkable thing where you're asking him about the repairs he supposedly did, and he just turns and walks away. -Never gives you a straight answer. -Lost his temper and started yelling at me when I politely asked why every time they worked on the car there was air in the cooling system "It's naating" what? "is becos of use" what? "is becos of heater use" really? "is like when footbol has air what you call it? empty" *blink, blink* "google it" If I knew how much energy and self-restraint this guy would cost me, I would have given my car to charity. I wish I could do this Andre character justice and accurately portray his complete lack of psycho-social development. I almost want to recommend him just so you experience this human anomaly first hand. If you are a clinical psychologist please help this man while he lies about fixing your car. read more

I wanted to take a moment and share about my experience with Roobic to affirm how much I recommend them. The auto repair industry is fraught with mixed messaging and broken promises that fuels the distrust we all carry. But I can say that it is my experience Roobic and his team not only go above and beyond but treat their customers like family. He wants us to have our cars running long and safely with confidence. Many say that and then their behavior doesn't support it- but they act that way and it feels real nice to have an actual relationship with a mechanic. I couldn't recommend them more. read more

I was about half way on a 3 hr drive when a bunch of my warning lights went on and my air conditioning stopped. I called and they said I could bring it over. Luckily the car was still running and I was only 17 miles away, so I drove to the shop. An hour or so later I was back on the road! These guys are awesome!!! I highly recommend them if you own a Prius read more

I'm really pleased I found this place..... I didnt need to make an appointment to get my dashboard display replaced and the codes run...probably cost me only 1/3 of what a dealer would have charged its nice to find a place that really knows this car! read more

Quick and friendly service at a fraction of the cost of going to the dealership. Two thumbs up!

They moved back to Sun Valley. They are no longer in Glendale. They are on Sheldon Street off the 5 at 11930 Sheldon Street. I love these guys. Before I only trusted my Prius with the dealer. I was referred to these guys by a co-worker. They take care of many of the Prius taxies. While their customer interface is not as polished as a dealer or a fancy shop, they make up for it with their knowledge of the car and their skill in repairing it. They will keep your car running smoothly at minimal cost. Especially, if you have an older car and don't care about used parts, you will not be disappointed with the bill. Plus, they depend on repeat business, so you can trust their diagnosis and remedies. Also, the owner said they are adding a body shop soon, read more

Had a great experience here. Cheap, efficient and easy going. Less than 1/2 price from the dealership for the same work. Closer to 1/3 of the dealership price. The guys didn't seem to mind that I watched my allocated mechanic work on my car. Something I like to do. Andre the owner is a nice guy, albeit very very busy running around. It's not a fancy place. I don't mind that it's not a pretty set up or fancy schmancy at all because the guys there provided exactly what I needed to keep my car running well. All in all, not super pretty, but who cares? They get the job done well. Will continue to come here for any work I need. read more

This is a very good prius service shop Pretty much everything you need they can take care of, thumbs up the service is good the prices are very fair I've gone there many times for various things always happy read more

I just had another happy experience at Prius Express. At first he just let me go at no charge as the problem I was having the last couple nights seemed to have disappeared. Then on the road the codes popped up on my dash. This time there was something to work with and they told me it was the inverter cooling pump. A common problem on my old Prius and on that made perfect sense for the issue I was having of various systems like AC shutting down. The price was 150 less than I have paid my old mechanic in the past. I can't see myself ever taking my Prius anywhere else. Car is running great again. I definitely had fears of of spending over 1000 for my repair. The total was less than a third of that. read more

Prius Express in Glendale (on San Fernando Rd) is still there! They are about to finish remodeling the office and have cleaned out the work space---The entire place looks very nice. I'm really impressed with how polite and friendly they are. (It is like a fresh air in the Los Angeles county where I find most people are generally very rude.) Also, true to their name, they do the job fast ("express") while you wait. Yet, they are thorough and very honest and reliable. The cost is more than reasonable---you cannot get his rate at a dealership. If you have Prius, this should be the go-to place. read more

After searching for over a year for a place to fix my center console screen, thankfully I found Prius express! Andre is a pro with a solid small staff and has many replacement parts in house. He's a straight shooter and worked fast! I'll definitely be back with my 2006 Prius as these things tend to have small quirks here and there and not many independent service people out there that specialize in Prius! I'd give this place 6 stars if I could. read more

After being referred to this shop by an auto part seller i bought an AC compressor from , i decided from then on , this is the shop i will bring my car for oil change, repairs of any kind . either mechanical or electrical . No more DMV for me. When I went to Prius Express it was fast, easy and service with a smile. Aeylin is very professional and organized with her customer service. She took time and explain all the charges and making sure that I was in and out no more than five minutes unlike the DMV which you would have to be waiting for 5 hours and I'm not exaggerating. From now on I will be using her service to register my cars. read more

Excellent service. Andre is reliable, knowledgeable and cares for his customers. I will only trust him with my car. Thank you!

Courteous, reasonably priced, professional service! The owner, Andre really know his Prius's too. I'm very happy with my experience here and highly recommend them! read more

I have no idea how the fk this place is getting 5 stars, well here it goes: I took my prius in because it kept on stalling on me and would not turn on, after further review online it said it was either the water pump or cables that can make that happen, I took it in because I saw all the 5 star reviews and I said ok cool, I got there and the guy puts it on the computer and tells me I have a few codes but main one is water pump, I told him that I have been checking online and it says to check the cables first, he tells me no its your water pump, well I took his word for it and paid $650 took the car and the next day it started doing the same fkn thing stalling, I took it back to him and I told him that it did the same thing he is like I do not have time right now, while I was there it was not turning on and they started checking the wires and he is like it is the wires but I do not have enough guys bring it back another day, I took it to another mechanic and he told me it was the wires that was fried. He changed it and guess what it worked fine. save your money and go to another mechanic, he doesn't listen to what you have to say, oh and while I was there I heard another customer telling him that what he did was not fixed yet either. My car could of been fixed the first time, if he would checked the wires like I told him. read more

My husband actually found this place as we live in the area and we would always see a ton of taxi's that were Prius's. So we figured we would give them a try and I have not been disappointed. Their prices are VERY reasonable, they are long hours and Andre Tellmian/owner has exstensive knowledge and experience on Prius's and their issues. My car is now 5 years old and not worth taking it to any dealership for service. He offers good information and I don't feel as a woman like he is taking advantage of me. He knows I drive a lot so he actually looks out for things on the car to make sure that I am driving safe. The dealer told me I needed rear brakes over 7 months ago. Andre told me I didn't and I have not had them replaced. So he doesn't "sell" me and I get in and out quickly. I truly appreciate their business. He has also helped with some body work where the front and rear bumper is popping off because the clips are broken and he has given me a very reasonable fix as I expect to walk out having to pay several hundred $$ like I do at the dealership and that doesn't happen here. He is fair in his pricing and I would highly recommend anyone to def look him up. You won't be disappointed. From a woman who doesn't feel taken advantage of by a mechanic! read more
