Francisco and company came to do a "repair" on one of my work vans. The van was having an issue turning over, and after charging me $55 for an inspection (I was notified of the fee AFTER the inspection), Francisco and his worker determined that I needed a new starter. The problem is after paying $500 for a new starter, my van still wouldn't start. After hours of trial and error, the mechanic decided to clean my battery terminals. Once finished, the mechanic determined it was a dirty terminal/battery issue, and not the starter. I could have cleaned the battery terminals for free. I could have bought a new kit for the terminals for $20 on Amazon. Instead, I'm out $500 for a starter I didn't need. I tried looking for a solution with Francisco. I tried to be understanding as I am a business owner as well, and I know mistakes happen. However, Francisco only offered me my $55 inspection fee back. At first, I was insulted. I could have a asked for a complete refund. But then I thought to myself, I'll just take the $55 and be done with this problem. We are going on 4 days, I have been left on read multiple times, and am still waiting on the $55. I tried to be nice but instead feel taken advantage of. I know how costly these reviews are to businesses, I hope it was all worth your $55. read more

I wish I would have read the reviews on this mechanic before even approaching him. Every negative review seems to be the customers fault never his and that odd to start off. When i asked for a quote it went from $1,400 then he bumped it up to $2,650 then again bumped it up to $3,252 and wasn't done yet he either missed something on the estimate or had not done a job like this before because after all that he wanted another $440 because he didn't realize that when removing lifters, cam and timing chain you have to out the engine back on time, thats some mechanic but even then i agreed to pay but only to catch his worker trying to add water into my coolant reservoir like if he didnt know that water doesn't mix with all coolants. The day after he " finished" I realized 3 bolts on the cylinder head were broken when i brought this up the answer was " we dont fix that so thats why the mechanic didnt even bring it up".. after that i realized that my oil pressure had dropped significantly and his answer to that is that my oil pump had suddenly gone bad. Thats same day my car got a check engine for a lean condition and as days passed i got another code for a cylinder misfire then another code for random cylinders misfiring. The only thing my vehicle had was a tick but after these guys worked on it came with way more and worst problems. After notifying francisco of all this he just stopped replying. That is no way to make business. Id stay away from giving them any business, they might be okay for small maintenance jobs but thats about it. read more

Sad and unfortunate when a business/business owner dont take accountability for their poor performance. we had the money that was quoted to us for the job your mechanic, the people you hire dont know how to perform the job you as their owner hires them to do. That has nothing to do with our money. Again you quoted something that didn't get fix. Your employe breaks parts from our truck thats on camera that you don't take responsibility for. instead want to charge us more. Now on yelp you can answer but through text you ghosted us. Horrible all around. Thanks for showing us and letting us expose your business to not hire you! Hopefully this makes your day better! People again save your time and money and go elsewhere , where business, employees and owners stick to what they stand for, definitely not this business! read more

Great service, on time & reliable. Fixed the same day & very transparent with the pricing.

Called to get a repair on my car. The guy who picked up said he would call around and give me a call back in 5 minutes. I confirmed my phone number with him and waited. Half an hour later, I still didn't get a call back so I called him back twice and it went to voicemail both times. I get that someone might not have been available, but he could have had the courtesy to let me know rather than ghost me. If you're looking for someone who is reliable, this is not the guy. read more

I was quoted a "flat rate" price for simple brake flush job. Guy sends a "helper", then got told he doesn't have the equipment or supplies and needs to make a dash to autozone. Then returns and says he needs special equipment and call his "boss" to come. At the end it all it took almost 3hrs for a job that should have been 30-60mins. Charges me for extra work time instead of flat rate. Will not recommend. Brakes still feel soft and spongy. Will have to get the service done again at dealer. Guess I pay thrice for trying to cheap out. read more

Great experience! Francisco showed up exactly when he said he would, explained the suggested repairs needed and fixed everything perfectly. He was SO reasonable and I really appreciated that he didn't try to upsell me. If you're in need of a mechanic who's professional, transparent, and trustworthy, he is your guy. And the benefit of being mobile and coming to you, is a total game-changer for anyone who needs car repairs; but dreads the whole process as I did. Very grateful to have my car running smoothly again! Thanks! read more

This guy is not professional. He will not do a complete job and he won't advise you if there is any additional services needed. We hired this guy and asked him to replace oil pan in our car. The person he sent came in, replaced the pan and when we turned on the car, there was a big oil leak. We asked him what happened, he said there was a seal that needed to be replaced. When we asked him why he didn't fix it completely, he said, "you only hired me to replace to oil pan." In addition, he left with the job half-done and said he would come back the next day however when we reached out he said he was out on a trip. DO NOT GIVE HIM ANY BUSINESS. read more

My brakes started making the squealing noise indicating the pads were thin and needed to be replaced. Bought pads online and needed someone to install for me. My regular mechanic wanted $145 which seemed high considering replacing front brake pads is a straightforward job. Started a project on Yelp on a Weds evening. Auto Fix Mobile was one of the first to get back to me quickly. Quoted a great price and was able send a guy out the next morning. Guy showed up and replaced the brake pads quickly. He even took it for a test drive to make everything went well. The last mobile mechanic I had to replace my shocks didn't bother with a test drive so appreciate Auto Fix Mobile taking the extra care. Extremely satisfied. Will hit them up again for whatever next car project I have. Highly recommend! read more

Save yourself from a problem . Very unprofessional customer service over the phone. Very rude person . And basically the guy who talks to you on the phone is not really the mechanic who comes to the job site. This guys are just clearly trying to hit the jackpot read more

DO NOT USE THIS MOBILE MECHANIC SERVICE!!! THEY TOOK MY MONEY AND THEN STOPPED REPLYING TO MY CALLS AND TEXT. I scheduled brake service, they came out. They couldn't complete the job because they didn't have the right tools. I gave them some money on good faith they would come back and do the job. They ignored all communication since then. I have the calls and text and inbox messages to prove what they did. read more

Would highly recommend Francisco and his team at Auto Fix Mobile for auto repair. After getting quoted high amount dealer and other shops to replace brakes and rotors on my Audi Q5, I contacted Francisco and he was super helpful over text. He explained to me the cost brakedown, estimated time and would look at the brakes and rotors before doing the job. He showed up right at our appointment time and they got to work promptly. Was told by another shop that I needed Brake Fluid flush and he was honest and told me it wasn't needed. They were very professional and worked well on my car. It's so nice to hear my car braking so quietly and no rattle :) While working on my , they pointed out that rubber was tearing on my upper control arms. They showed me exactly where it was tearing and the implications of not fixing. Francisco let me know that he'd get the parts for me and would repair that at a very reasonable cost. The next morning we met up again and that repair was been done. I am so happy to have found Francisco and his team. Will definitely use them for both my cars and HIGHLY recommend to others! Thank you again Auto Fix Mobile!! read more

Avoid at all cost! They did not fix the problem then ghosted me. 2 weeks ago A mobile mechanic was dispatched to address the issue with the spark plugs, as my car was unable to exceed 40 mph and exhibited performance struggles. The mechanic arrived promptly within a few hours and completed the work swiftly--impressive efficiency, indeed. Initially, the car seemed to operate smoothly on the drive home, yet it was apparent the underlying issue remained unresolved; the vehicle continued to struggle. Upon contacting the service provider to report the unresolved issue the following day , they assured me they would seek an immediate solution and asked for a brief five-minute wait. However, subsequent attempts to follow up resulted in no answer. Further communication attempts, including messages on yelp and texts--which initially received responses--eventually led to silence once I provided details of my car's make and model. Persistence in reaching out the following day and beyond, through at least ten calls and five voicemails, yielded no response. Meanwhile, the car's condition deteriorated, culminating in a complete loss of acceleration and eventually stalling on the freeway during my commute home. Despite repeated efforts to contact the service provider for assistance, my calls were met with continued silence. Thanks Guys! read more

Poor communication, appointments constantly rescheduled by the owner, still waiting to receive an invoice for payment

Dealer wanted to charge me an insane price for a brake job. Francisco was quick to respond. Air Fix sent a tech out to my house and did the job in 1 hour for way less than half of what the dealer was charging. I will use this company again and again. read more

I was actually looking up mechanics at midnight when Francisco responded to my query. His shop was too far for me to tow and I thanked him for the respons. The following day, Francisco offered to come out to my place and fix my car. He was on time went to work right away. we soon discovered that the repairs were more extensive than we first thought. I told him my budget and Francisco offered to come out the next day to finish the work which involved removal of the turbo and air con unit to get at the proble. Francisco came through for me, fixed my car as promised and kept within my budget. Thank you Francisco, you are a miracle worker! Will always recommend you to famil and friends. read more

Francisco and his team were amazing! I went in to my dealership for routine maintenance. The dealership slapped me with a repair quote for almost $1300 for a necessary repair! I was in need of an oil change and because of service departments being closed (COVID-19) I yelped for a mobile service. I have a leased Honda 2017 civic and have always gone to the dealership for service, but I was way over due for an oil change. I called and got a free estimate. Francisco showed up on time. Very knowledgeable and professional. Fast and efficiently done, left no mess in my garage. Finding a good, trustworthy, mechanic is so hard. I'm definitely going to be calling him again when in need of oil changes or repairs. I highly recommend! read more

These guys are amazing! My alternator gave out on Friday, found them on Yelp and the next morning Francisco sent someone out to get the work done. My car overheated as I was driving home to my house a few weeks ago and Francisco came to check it out for me. While there he told me that, although he works mobile, my car needed a new radiator and head gasket and oil pan and that it was a multiple day job but that he could take care of it. He seemed trustworthy so I left my car to his care. He said although the job would normally take a week between getting parts and getting it into a machine shop and then the labor that he would try to get it done in five days because he knew I had an out of town trip planned. His estimate after diagnosing my car was at least a thousand dollars cheaper than if I would have taken it to the dealership. He did ask me to pay for the parts up front but I understood that, was reasonable. He kept me updated daily on the repairs. At the end of his work, he noticed my fans weren't working so called and helped me out by just charging for the parts and a tad bit of labor because I had already spent so much which was gracious. I got my car back in time for my trip and a peace of mind. He is now my mechanic for life. I have had such bad experiences with mechanics in the past, it feels really good to have his number in my pocket for the future ... he's a young guy with two little babies and works his ass off, color me impressed! read more

I called in last minute to get my spark plugs, coolant, and brake pads changed and they came through very quickly. I usually don't trust anyone working on my car, but Auto Fix Mobile did not disappoint. All the work was done quickly, without any issues, and all for a great price. They will also entertain your conversations and address anything that may cause problems in the future which is always appreciated. Very kind and respectful guys. Thank you! read more

Contacted Francisco in the evening to repair a cylinder misfire. He came the next morning and got it fixed for $700, replaced the spark plugs. Super happy to get my car back on the road! But a week later, the issue came back. The car was nearly dying every time it was on idle. Called another mechanic, and he said the spark plugs that were just installed were inappropriate for our make. He changed the spark plugs (another $700 gone, plus additional $150 for car rental needed while waiting). My car has been running great for weeks since the second repair. Wish we had gotten better parts the first time. read more

There was no confusion here, you blew me off and as far as im concerned, my brakes were squeaking when you replaced them, and after you replaced them they got way worse than just squeaking and instead of trying to solve the issue you told me some bullshit excuse and never texted or called me back. Its a little suspicious and if you don't even know how to change brake drums and shoes, you shouldn't say you offer that service if you need your father to come help you just to screw it up. The only thing I'm confused about is how you still have business after screwing people over. And also I get my vehicle looked at often enough to know that my "noisy" suspension has nothing to do with my brakes leaking brake fluid everywhere after you "fixed them" read more

Francisco did a really great job doing a pre-purchase inspection for an old used car I was looking to buy off Craigslist. With the amount of scammers/liars on Craigslist nowadays, especially when it comes to used cars, I felt it was smart to get an inspection before handing over the money. However, its COVID, and a lot of places are booked up or closed. also, the car's registration was expired and seller wasn't okay with me taking it to a nearby shop. That's when I called Francisco, the day before the meetup, and quickly set up the inspection for the next morning. He came with me to the meet location and immediately started getting to work, it was clear that he had done this many times. After inspecting the car, he even asked to test drive the car a little bit, and in the car, told me his honest opinion on whether or not the car was worth the money, and gave me a detailed explanation on why, which was really valuable. I ended up deciding not to purchase based on his advice, and I am really glad I did so. He even drove me back an hour out of his way because I had ubered to the meet location (I dont have a car right now). Really friendly guy as well! I asked like a hundred questions (I dont know jack about cars) and he did a great job explaining. All in all, really fantastic job, I will be using auto fix for all of my future car inspections (why go to the shop when he will come to you). If you're looking to buy a used old car and need an inspection done, call Francisco! read more

Also, it did not take very long for the fix they were fast and speedy, I highly recommend to anyone looking for auto repair especially if you need someone to come to you it's very convenient versus towing a car to a mechanic shop and leaving it there.
