WHEN NOBODY ELSE WANTED TO HELP. These guys came to the rescue. I had a dead battery across the streets. Everyone on the street looked at me like I was crazy to ask for a jump. Without hesitation he had a guy go and jump me. Didn't ask for a thing. I owe them some doughnuts and coffee. Thank you guys for being good humans. It's a reflection on the quality of work you do. Thank you guys. read more

Gave me back my car with my tires not on properly. It was making a sound after coasting and driving my car. When I called to complain the owner said they did not even touch them even though I had a second mechanic confirm there was no way it would've been from anywhere else and lasted as long as it did. The owner explicitly stated there was no way they could've done it but my car was driving fine before with no problems I only came for a coolant tube. I haven't gotten tires serviced for months so the second mechanic said there would've been damaged long before and I'm lucky to have gotten it fixed quick. Just glad I'm safe and didn't take it to work. Don't take your car here !! read more

My mom found this place, randomly, for her car. She had an amazing experience with him - great pricing, got the job done in a super fast pace, great communication ...overall, she was super satisfied! Fast forward to my car breaking down, my mom had such a wonderful experience with him that I went on her recommendation. He quoted me an excellent price, got the job done same day and was even available for follow-up questions. My mother and I are both so satisfied that we will be making him our go-to mechanic and will HIGHLY recommend him to anyone in the area! Thank you, Edgar! read more

Super impressed with Active Auto Motors! Took my 02 GMC Sierra 2500 4x4 in for a bottom to top engine rebuild... was obviously super nervous about such a big job but Mifeal made a dude feel pretty good about where his truck was. He kept me up to date along the way and sent me pics to let me know where they were at on the job. Even better, it's now been two weeks and I'll be taking my baby back in to get fresh oil after the build and get anything else checked up on. Mifeal was awesome even after the job was complete and followed up to check on his project even during the holidays. Made me feel like he define you cares. I highly recommend Active Auto Motors to anyone looking for a trusted mechanic! read more

I took my toyota Rav4 2018 to the shop for oil change and they game me a great service. Also, they notice my front mirror where loose and they asked me if I wanted to fixed it and they did. As a woman is very hard to trust a good shop, most of the time since I don't knownrhat much about cars or prices they take advantage of that, selling me unnecessary services or selling other overpriced. I strongly recommend Active, they are honest, responsible and consius. read more

As a young woman who doesn't know much about cars, I'm always wary when taking my car in anywhere. But this shop is fantastic. I had gone to a different mechanic after i was told i had an oil leak, and they told me I was looking at several thousand in repairs because they found four different leaks. I took it here and they saved me so much money. All I had was an oil leak, along with a few other parts that needed replacing. Michael took the time to show me under the hood exactly what he had found and sent me pictures of everything so I had it for reference. He even documented the minor superficial damage but didn't pressure me in any way to get it repaired. He understood exactly what I was there for. Everyone is so kind and I don't feel like i'm being condescended to like I have at so many other places. I highly recommend this place and will be taking my car here for anything and everything from now on read more

Ive been in LA for over 20 years and have never been to a better auto shop . They have been so kind and honest and reasonable in every way .

Convenience of location is what brought me to this Mechanic Shop in the first place. But, Professionalism and courtesy is what keeps coming back. best service ever, Quick, reasonable, efficient, and very friendly. Misael, assisted me on explaining what was wrong with my car and why it was making that awful noise. He, was able to locate an issue a few other shops had failed to diagnose. My F150 needed a timing chain job done. I wanted to over spend and he assured me the parts he uses are just as good without the high price, He was right, the truck has been running great for the past 2 years Zero problems. I highly recommend this place. Great care and attention. read more

I came to this place because it was recommended by a friend. It was a Sunday I was surprise this shop was opened. My car had something wrong with the motor and it will smell like burnt at times. Misael explained me the process and the cost. I thought the prices were really fair and he was really honest about everything my car had to get done but to do first what was more important. A lot of shops don't do this, they want you to get everything in one day and give you a large bill, specially cause I'm a girl they take advantage since I didn't know anything about cars. But he was so honest and fixed my car, to top it off he fixed my back light at no charge. I highly recommend this place. read more

These guys are the real deal in auto repair. I had just purchased a 1999 Toyota Camry and it just happened to over heat right in front of this shop. It was 6:30 pm most shops are closed or would have said come back tomorrow. Masiel and Edgar came out to help me immediately. My radiator had a hole on the top. They said they could fix it by noon on Saturday (they close at noon) the price was very reasonable. My car was ready by noon as promised they even went a step further to replace the Thermostat w/gaskets. They didn't change from the original price like most mechanic shops do. Anyway fast forward to the next Saturday I thought something was wrong with my radiator they installed so I took the car back. Turned out it was the water pump. Again very professional and they told me it would be ready by 6 pm; even though they close usually on Saturday at noon. They were very professional and listened to my concerns. Of course the car was ready promptly and 6 pm as promised. I highly recommend Active Auto Motors to anyone who needs car repairs by real professional staff and they deliver on time. Also, you can get great Tacos across the street if you don't mind waiting in a long line. read more

I just have to say this place is GREAT! Most importantly I trust them! It's so hard finding a good mechanic shop that does honest/excellent work.
