I created a message and sent it out to about 10+ local companies and although Thomas wasn't the first to respond, but he ended up being the best decision we could have made. Another company responded first and never got back to us so I went to the next message and it was from Thomas. After a few minutes explaining our situation and what we needed, they said they were available the very next day. I asked if I could add an additional room and he immediately agreed. Upon arrival, Another One Wipes The Dust was very friendly and professional. We showed them the rug and they started cleaning right away paying extra attention the stains and doing a thorough job. From there, we moved into the extra room that we added and they did a fantastic job on that as well. As they were finishing up, my wife asked if they could clean our upstairs hallway before leaving because one of our dogs peed on the carpet and since they had time, we paid the difference and ultimately couldn't be happier! I used the feature in Yelp to have multiple businesses bid on my job of cleaning the windows to my…read morehouse.  Despite his lack of reviews, I decided to go with Brandon Smith of Clear Shine Window Cleaning; Brandon presented professionally and friendly through your communications.  Although he was not the cheapest bid I received, I decided to give him my business in my support of small, local businesses and veterans---I know firsthand how difficult transitioning back into civilian life can be. Brandon came over at the agreed upon time and on his recommendation, I added on the service of power washing specific areas of the exterior of the house.  I paid him the agreed upon amount and he left.  That night, as I was closing up the house, I realized one of the windows had been cracked.  I texted Brandon and he agreed to come out the next day.  The next day, he came over to inspect the window and took responsibility for what had happened.  He said he would consult with his insurance on how best to proceed and get back to me.  That week, he returned to take measurements of the window.  This was in early May 2020. By early June 2020, he said a professional window company was coming to install a new window only they didn't---they only took measurements.  I gave it a few more weeks and followed up multiple times with Brandon beginning in July 2020; all my attempts to contact him were ignored.  At a loss, I involved the owner of the house who was able to contact Brandon who then blamed the cracked window on my son. I am deeply appalled by the moral and ethics demonstrated by this company, specifically Brandon.  He even went so far as to come into my home, sit at my kitchen table for a chat while I homeschooled my two young children.  Given his blatant lack of character, I count myself and my kids fortunate that a broken window was the only damage he incited that day.  I held off writing this review in hopes that Brandon would resolve this issue but he has not.

Looking back, I should have done a more thorough walkthrough before the cleaner left, and I take responsibility for that. The woman who came to my home was kind, punctual, and polite. I have absolutely no complaints about her professionalism or demeanor. I have lived in my home for seven years and have never hired a cleaning service before. I clean every week, and I feel our home is generally well maintained. My daughter was coming to celebrate her 30th birthday, and I wanted to reduce some of my stress by treating myself to a professional cleaning. I was given a quote of $350, which I felt was fair, so I booked the appointment and also gave a tip I felt was fair. The areas being cleaned were limited to the kitchen, living room, three bathrooms, and part of the primary bedroom. Three bedrooms were not included, nor did I request the shelves in the living room or entertainment center to be dusted. We have some collectibles and even I hate dusting them so didn't want to burden anyone else with it either. When the cleaning was finished, my husband asked if I was happy with the service. Before I even said anything, he commented that the house didn't look as clean as I usually leave it and that several areas appeared to have been missed. For him to notice was surprising because he rarely comments on cleaning. As I looked more closely, I found several issues. The stainless steel stove hood, cooktop, and refrigerator all had noticeable streaks. The floors also had streaks in several areas after being mopped. The baseboards had not been cleaned in the areas the checklist says they will, and the bathroom light fixtures had been overlooked. Ultimately, I ended up re-cleaning many of the areas myself. Again, I acknowledge that I should have completed a detailed walkthrough before the cleaner left. However, for the price of the service plus a substantial tip, I expected more attention to detail. The cleaning took approximately 2 1/2 to 3 hours, and I have been left feeling that I could have put that money toward celebrating my daughter's birthday since I ended up cleaning and doing most of the work myself. Another disappointment was that, before the cleaner left, I asked about scheduling monthly service and was told someone would contact me. That appointment was in mid-April, and I never received a follow-up. At this point I wouldn't move forward with recurring service anyway, but it added to my overall disappointment. I'm glad so many other customers have had positive experiences, as those reviews are what led me to choose this company. Unfortunately, my experience didn't match those expectations. Having someone clean and take care of my floors and bathrooms and other details does a lot for my well being as both my husband and myself work demanding jobs and care for my aging mother. When the technicians arrived on 02/21/2026, they stated the cost would be $150 to deep clean one room. I ultimately paid $135 in cash for one room. The "deep cleaning" lasted less than 15 minutes. The primary issue was a lingering odor and spots in that room, and the odor remained after the service was completed. The carpets are approximately two years old and were in good condition prior to this service. When I contacted the company to request a redo at no additional charge, I was told they would not return or address the issue. The receipt provided does not list a business address.
