Parking situation: Can get really rough. They don't have much space. I came in to get a rental suit altered with a friend. Their service is quite fast; they do stand by the next-day policy. You're definitely paying for it though. It cost me $72 to get a suit jacket and pants altered to get the sleeve length and leg lengths correct (so just some pinning), along with a steam clean. For reference, other cleaners in West Houston will do it for half of that. To their credit, they messed up the jacket sleeve length and did fix it for me within another day and got both lengths perfect the second time around. So, they're worth their word. I have now used Prime Cleaners twice, and the service and quality was excellent both times. Even better, they took my 50% off coupons each time. They don't limit coupons to first time customers. This place has the worst customer service. Particularly the lady who works in the front with the blond and black hair that says she is the manager. Always very rude and snippy with me. For instance, I called and asked what the time cut off was for same day pick up. She told me 9am. I arrived around 8:55 and she gives me an attitude and smart remarks. The adage goes: "Cheap, Fast, Good. Pick two." This especially seems the case with cleaners. Prism is a solid choice, however. Over about 15 years of visiting, they are the best I have found in all three areas. They do a good job and have never ruined anything or left items dirty and covered in residue as others have. They are not the cheapest, but not exorbitant either. The price is fair. Some things that would make a nicer experience, but not deal-breakers: same-day service, 24 hour drop off, not having to remind them of my name every time, and not being required to pay before service every time. read more

Take anything in and it's only $1.99. Went in Thursday to drop off my comforter, never been here and it's a couple minutes from my apartment, was quoted 35, my bf went to pick it up and he was under the impression I paid and instead of being nice the lady said "she absolutely did not" and said the total was 42$ not 35. He had the ticket saying what I was quoted and when my bf said the ticket says this price she gave attitude and said well whoever did it put it in wrong. Only come here because it's one of the few places that clean in-house and do same day cleaning. However the front desk staff, one lady in particular, is always short and rude in her communication. I try to avoid coming here unless I really need something cleaned same day. read more

I have nothing but praise for Prism Cleaners. They have fair prices, never fail to greet me by name and are open at very convenient times. The owners are always on site to help with any issues and they now take credit cards in addition to cash and checks. Just one example of their commitment to customer service is when I recently received back one of husband's custom made shirts and it had a tear in it. About the only drawback here is the parking. I can usually find a place but you have to be careful since other people tend to drive too fast in such a small area. Other than that this has to be the best cleaners in the area. Reasonable prices, quick turnaround, and haven't had any issues (knock on wood) with clothes I have given. Even though the drop off area is small and get seem to get packed, I've never waited long. They are pretty efficient and move the line quickly. Even if you don't know exactly what's best for your clothes they can make a decent recommendation but still better to know what you need done before you go in. I've brought all sorts of clothing here, like dresses, party wear, suits, silk blouses, even blankets. I get my whole family's clothes cleaned here. The cleaning service is fantastic with quick turnaround. The manager is very friendly, and the staff is very helpful. Prices are the most reasonable in the area, and it's a super convenient location. I've taken my suits here for cleaning 3-4 times and every time it comes out looking good, even after a few times when I was dancing at a wedding (and getting the suit really dirty). I did have some pajama pants hemmed up, and that's the reason why it's not a 5 star review. The fabric is obviously stretchy, but for some reason, they used regular thread which keeps breaking. It was cheaper than a tailor, but I'm going to have to take the pants to a tailor to get them fixed after a while. read more

I have been going to Prism Cleaners for a little over a year now 2021-2022. They are quick in cleaning your clothes. My main issue is with a women at the front desk named Ms.Fany. As anyone knows many times when laundering mens dress shirt which is all ironed by a machine sometimes the bottom of the sleeve gets caught in some machinery and gets dirty. This has happened in many different places so it's no exclusive to Prism Cleaners. My issue is that when you take something back to show them that this happened on one shirt out of 20 And to please redo it. Ms. Fany never let's you complete your sentence and always states it your fault. I picked up 20 mens dress shirts all bundled up in plastic. I got home and only one had this machine scuff mark on cuff but apparently it was my fault. I had a 2 silk ladies blouses dry cleaned there on different occasions. One was not properly ironed. I brought it back the same day I picked it up. Ms. Fany immediately stated it was my fault. Then on other occasion they placed a clip at the collar of silk blouse and press the clip right through the other side, silk is a fragile material. Once again that was my fault. I am Not certain how this is my fault as Prism is the one who placed the plastic clip on my blouse. Yet, Ms. Fany always let's you know that the error is never theirs it is always the customers fault! She is rude and truly she should not be working with customers at all. Also the price they advertised to launder mens dress shirts is not what they charge. Change your sign, that's false advertising! Look else where to have your clothes dry cleaned and laundered. read more

This place did a really bad job when it came to press function. When I got there for pick up I had to point out two areas where pants were wrinkled. Of course to Prisms defense they did offer to fix it but upon arriving at home and inspecting all 4 pants found many more wrinkles. Its just a bad business experience when you come home and need to re-iron everything. read more

They left incorrect creases and the pants had a weird texture afterwards as well. Bad customer service!!!I had a terrible experience with them. They washed my dry clean only dress and refused to admit to it. I took my never worn, $500 dress to them to get it pressed only. The girl at the font desk, who spoke with an accent, said she may need to clean the dress so it's pressed properly . I told her all I want them to do is to make the pleats look crisp. She said: "don't worry we will do a great job." When I went to pick up the dress, I realized it looked more wrinkled than before. When I questioned them about it, she said: " it looks like the dress was washed before." I explained to her that I took the tag off the dress and brought it to you, so no one has washed this dress before, and she said maybe it's the fabric and she's willing to press it again. I needed the dress for a bridal party and I was going out of town, so I took dress with me hoping that I could get it pressed elsewhere. The second dry cleaners told me that my dress has been washed and the fabric is damaged. I went back to Prism and they refused to pay for damaging my dress or even to admit that they washed my dress by mistake. I'll never go back or take any business to them again and I advise you do the same. They won't take responsibility for their mistakes. All I wanted them to do was to be honest and apologize. Brought a 1950s wedding dress in. When I got it back after cleaning it was destroyed. Holes throughout the chiffon skirt, and bodice. Buttons were antique with rhinestones inside, half were melted or missing the rhinestones. This was to be my wedding dress. This place was awesome! I've been trying to find a good dry cleaner for a long, long time. The place looks a little sketch when you pull up, but don't let it fool you. I took 10...TEN...pieces to get dry cleaned and after the 15% Yelp discount, I only paid $40.00. They were all slacks, blouses, blazers, and dresses. Last time I took that many items to a dry cleaners, I paid almost $70.00. They were so quick also - I took my clothes in on Saturday morning and they were ready Monday by 5. I had begun taking my clothes to Prism Cleaners because of the good reviews on yelp and the very good prices. I took my clothes there for a few months, but eventually, stopped returning. Without fail, Prism Cleaners destroyed the buttons on all of my suits and dress shirts. Sloppy, sloppy work. Good prices aren't worth destroying clothes. It's better than some cleaners (price-wise, anyways), but can't hold a candle to Eagle Express. Save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else, that is, unless you don't need buttons. read more
