I called two weeks ago to schedule an appointment with Nelson to get an oil change. I arrived 20min before my oil change and went to wait in the waiting room. After an hour I asked if my car was done and Nelson's replied that it had just been taken back. I was confused as I had an appointment and not understanding why my car was being taken back an hour after my appointment, but I went back to the waiting room and waited another hour. When an hour passed AGAIN I went to ask Nelson if my car was done and he said it should be done shortly. When I looked outside I told him that was my car, he stated it was not my car, that it was his boss' car. It was strange because I knew those were my plate numbers, but I went to go sit down AGAIN and wait even more. About 20 minutes later, Nelson came to let me know my car was finished TO ONLY FIND OUT HE WAS GIVING ME SOMEONE ELSES CAR!!!!!!!! It wasn't even the same color as the one I had taken in. Then to find out my car had been finished two hours prior. I wasted 4 hours in your facility and didn't even get an apology. This entire time Nelson was at his desk on his phone unaware of his actual job and customer service. I've been a customer for several years and have never been so upset !!! I will try not to make this post super long, but we'll see. :) I will immediately say what started off as a possible no sale due to the most annoying & greedy salesman I've ever encountered of all my experiences in buying cars, the situation later turned around for our good. This particular salesman was the typical "haggling," lying, annoying, negative, and disrespectful salesman. I won't call him out by name, but if you want to know who I'm talking about, be a female that knows her stuff about cars and financing, and you'll find out. Or if you're a male that came in with a woman, let the woman do the talking and watch how he disregards and even disrespects her. So rather than stoop to his level, I just chalked it up as it being "his culture." After I persisted to speak to the General Sales Manager (Aaron) (in whom we were supposed to connect with anyway), and kindly dismissing this "haggling salesman" by requesting a new salesperson, we then got (Maihan) who was absolutely THE best and made our car purchase much a smoother and quicker experience. Not to mention walking about the door spending $4,180 less than what the "greedy salesman" wanted to charge us...YES FOR THE SAME CAR. I have constantly tried to give this place a chance but today was really the last straw. Every time I come for maintenance it's like charades, no one acknowledges your arrival, and everyone is buried deep on their computer screen. I get it, you are busy, but if someone comes through the door, acknowledge their presence and let them know where to get assistance. If you are introverted you will need to speak up or you will get walked by on. The mechanical services are what they need to be. But customer service is NOT their priority. I came in for an oil change and asked them to check my tire pressure sensor. However, Paul Sonnhelter kept trying to get me to but $900 service which I did not need. I constantly told him that my services were up to date. When i got the car back he still tried to up charge me and did not have anyone take a look at the tire pressure sensor. (Took it to another place and they quickly fixed it.) I even gave him my updated information and he came back to change all the information back to the old owner of my car. Went in looking for a Toyota Tacoma in either the TRD Sport or Off-Road trim. Our salesman was very friendly and patient with the initial process. However, when it came down to discussing prices, we were hit with a $9,995 "market adjustment" for a '22 TRD Off-Road we were looking at, putting the total price at just about $50k... After asking about it, the salesman went to go grab their manager. Manager told us they could not budge on the market adjustment. We walked out and went to a dealership down the road and ended up getting a TRD Sport with no market adjustment and no other BS additional fees. To this day I still think about how Priority really tried to justify an additional 10k market adjustment had kept a straight face while trying to explain it to us. read more

My 74 yr old mother just bought a new Camry and was told by her salesman that the car had navigation. It was late at night and my mother was told to come back with the car and they would explain all of the functions of the vehicle. She was tired and had been there for hours, first mistake she made. She went backfired the car demo and the same salesman told her yes you have navigation you just need to hook your phone up to the car. My mother doesn't understand electronics and was expecting the navigation to be through the car, not the phone. Now my elderly mother who needs navaigatoion in the vehicle just dropped cash in a new Camry and it is NOT OUTFITTED WITH NAVIGATION!!!! These people and this salesman should be ashamed of themselves and we will never ever purchase another car there again. We actually purchased 2 that night. read more

I brought my car here because I was not able to open my trunk. I asked them to see what's wrong and they told me that I had to replace my trunk release cable and actuator. Asking for $1400. Long story short. Cable was not attached to the lock actuator and cost nothing to fix. Just plugged it back in. Nothing was actually wrong. I wouldn't recommend bringing your car here. Here during phase 2 of COVID-19 and employees are not wearing masks correctly. Does not feel 100% safe. Don't come if concerned about your health. It would be nice to see the seating area roped off to ensure distancing, spots on the floor to ensure people are standing apart while waiting, etc. The reception is as chaotic as ever. There is no hand sanitizer. There is really nothing about COVID except to note that it impacted their hours. It's hard to identify what measures they may have put in place to ensure safety. This is the last time I will be using Priority Toyota Springfield. I came in for a state inspection, they took my car out back, drove it to the front an hour later and told me it was ready. There was no new state inspection sticker nor was there any inspection paperwork in my car. When I brought this to the attention of my advisor he was prompt and courteous in resolving the issue, but it resulted in my car having to be taken back again for almost 30 minutes to be inspected (allegedly) a second time. Based on the status of the car and the lack of documentation as far as I can tell my vehicle was NOT serviced the first time. Instead I suspect it was simply driven into a back lot and forgotten about until someone decided it was time for me to pay. Between this and attempted upsells of unnecessary procedures in the past I no longer trust Priority Toyota Springfield with my vehicle and will not be returning. read more

Bought a top of the line Highlander here. Their forced proprietary entertainment system was never maintained, the "rims" were fraudulent. They appeared to be one color but the minute over the counter soap was applied the outer candy shell melted off relieving their tru color. Now my rims look like a snake shedding its skin (not in a cool way). Called Toyota and they refused to help since I am just outside the warranty and they say rims are wear and tear. Apparently, them candy coating the rims with fake skin, me washing them and them falling apart is "wear and tear". GIVE ME A BREAK!!! read more

Drop my car for service on Saturday at 2:45 for Oil change, State safety inspection and Emissions. I was suppose to get a call when it's ready. Did not received any call I was told should be ready by 5:00 PM. I drop off car and took kids to mall just to kill time. I called around 6:40 to find out what's going and person on phone told me service office is closed and not able to tell anything. I called back next day Sunday they were not able to pull any info and person asked me to call back me back in 10 minutes. He told be car is ready and w U can pick up and for the inconvenience they gave me credit back in my inspection.. very nice of him. When to pick car just when they were about to close and drove out and see state inspection sticker was still old one which will expires this month. When back to office and receptionist was just leaving and told me she can't do anything as they are close was not even able to provide me service manager phone as I ask for the number to call on Monday.. very disappointed as my bill said the state inspection was done. This is not acceptable at all.. now I have to deal with this again Monday as it is a working day.. Only God know what's going on there ‍ read more

I just came from the dealership and wasted a good hour of my life. I went in specifically to look for a car for my parents and I was provided some assistance. From this point on, it was pretty bad customer service. We go out and he shows me the row of Toyota Camrys and I'm looking for a specific model. He finds it and says he'll be right back with the keys. After 15 min., he comes back and then tells me the battery is dead in the remote. Alright, I totally understand, things happen. He looks around and finds another car and says he'll be right back. I wait for about 20 min. and I start wondering whether he forgot about me. He just left me in the parking lot to wait. I realized it was too long and start walking up to the dealership. I see him talking to another customer. I wait a little bit and then I see him with a group of folks looking at the new Toyota Camry TRD. He sees me out of the corner of his eye... says, "I'll be right there" and at that moment, I realized he didn't get the key for the car. I tell him it's alright and just left. I look at my watch and realized that an hour passed by without the salesman actually showing me a car. It was a waste of time. I recommend not going. read more

Prior to my current service experience, I would have rated Priority Springfield all 5's. But this experience has been the worst. This dealership claims to make their customers a priority, but goes out of their way to do the exact opposite. My horrible experience started when my service advisor answer the phone inebriated in some way (slurred words and asking who I was after stating my name). At that point, I should have gone to retrieve my car, but again, I'd always had a stellar experience here, so I did not. After that, getting a hold of any staff member over the phone became impossible. Everyone was always busy, and somehow I never received a call back. Thankfully this is covered by insurance and my insurance company paid me directly, otherwise I might never get the car back. It's been 15 days and still no ECD on the vehicle. I have filed a complaint with the Virginia Bureau of Consumer Affairs and hopefully they will be able to return my car to me (in working condition). If not, I fear I may have to involve the police and court system. STAY AWAY so you can avoid the same experience. If I could give zero stars, I would. read more

We have been customer here at Springfield toyota for the longest time . We never had an issue with any of the staff ,until today 10/24/24 with staff name Mike Nelson . I had an appointment at 10am and handover my car. We were asked to wait for 2 and half hour for service as usual and told we will get the text. We waited at the waiting room with my 2 months baby . After 1 and half hr went to ask Mike Nelson to see if my car is ready he didn't even bother to check but straight told me it's not even been 2 and half hr yet . I was like that's fine . And after 2 hrs competed got the video of the inspection after getting the video and waiting to hear from them to call or text us but been 30 mins nothing again went to check and Mr. Nelson said your car will be right up . Waited right there at the front lobby for additional 20 mins nothing. Again asked he mentioned car will be right up, didn't even bother to check . After that he left the counter and once he left thought I should ask the other person he wasn't helpful either. My baby started crying so hard and went to feed him and ask my husband to ask them .. when my husband went there to ask they gave him the paper work right away saying that its a protocol that we had to pay first inorder get the car .. and my husband was like ,"thats why my wife was here with you asking for the car ". Uff What kinda person is he .I was there in and out for 45 mins continuously asking for my car he never bother to give me the paper work or check to see if it's done..total we waited 3hrs instead of 2 hrs and half. Understand its busy but my complain was he just ignored me like that . I even told him I have small baby and he crying. He was just sitting there and laughing .. he was just helping others who he wanted to. Didn't even want to give 1 star because there's no option for less than 1 to select. I was so angry and emotional at the same time what type of human being is he .. my baby was crying so much I even mentioned him and he didn't care . Brought our 2016 Camry for 60k mile check up last Oct.11 2023 and paid $634.54 for the service. The Automobile status report prepared by the mechanic and given to me by the advisor Mr. Nadir tells me that I need to replace the ball joints as it is leaking grease and require immediate attention. Cost to replace it will cost $935.25. Looking for a better price, I brought the car to another auto service. The mechanic checked the ball joint and took pictures of it showing to me that there is no leak and I don't need to replace the ball joint. If I let Priority did the work it would have cost me $935.25 for a part that does not need to be replaced. I do not know if this is a racket or what but I am not going back to toyota again . Not wanting to bash or praise this dealership, just FYI to anyone looking for a new Tacoma right now. They're charging a "market adjustment fee" of about $7,500 ON TOP of MSRP. I went to look at a TRD Sport, listed for $41,600. Called to confirm it was in stock, test drove it. Only after I'd mentioned I'd be interested to talk numbers was it mentioned there was an additional markup. Expecting to see initial paperwork show closer to $46,000, it actually came back closer to $54,000 before negotiations, trade in or down payment. I didn't feel the need to negotiate and just walked out. Again, not a bash on the dealer - just FYI of my experience if you're in the market. read more

Few days ago I noticed that there was a small dent on the passengers side sideskirt. Paint is also cracked as shown in the pictures. Looked underneath the car and the damage was from when the car was lifted during service. Someone called me and they said the "damage was already there". It was most likely from 5000 mile service back in May, which I never noticed. read more

Recently my car had indicated trouble within the motor region. I immediately made a service appointment with Springfield Toyota. From the minute I arrived I was treated like a Queen. My Customer Service rep Narful was so kind and knowledgeable. I waited the expected 90 minutes until Narful came back to give me the suspected cause of my cars problems. It was nothing more.than my negligence to properly put the gas tank cover back securely . I was so mortified. Narful assured me that it was no problem and that they were happy to have found the issue. And they had the AUDACITY TO TELL ME "why would you ever get a used car and especially a Kia" I mean since you said that, buy me a new one then Jeffery. This location claimed that they couldn't patch a tire with a screw in it two years ago and tried to sell me $350 tire. I got the tire patched at a Merchant's near my house for about $25. I really don't understand this place. Sometimes the service is pretty good and other times it can be absolutely horrendous like this past Saturday. I came in this past Saturday to get an oil change and that was it. I understand the weekends is usually a busy time for most dealerships, but it took forever to get it done. It took two hours to get my car back. Additionally, the rep that helped me initially was not that friendly. My wife and I felt like he was talking down to us. While we had his attention we tried to set up something so we could take the shuttle to the mall. We had to sit around and wait 45 minutes for the driver to take us. Finally, I tried to set up my appointment with someone from the dealership earlier in the week, but I tried doing it through their text message system since I really couldn't be on the phone while at work. I was told by s rep that someone would get back to me to set up my appoint. Well, no one ever did. I had to set it up myself the next day, so don't use their SMS service because it flat out sucks. Suffice to say I'm not too impressed with Priority Toyota's customer service. read more

The service advisor provided me with a detailed description of the problem. Solving it required that the car stay overnight, and the dealership provided me with a "rental" vehicle in order that I could get home and deal with an appointment the following morning. I purchased a new Toyota RAV4 Hybrid XSE from this dealership. (1) Based on price window stickers, the MSRP already includes destination fee of $1,095. But the dealer charged me another destination fee of $1,695. (2) The sales manager charged me $1,250 "Rebate", that should have been a discount. (3) The finance guy told me extended warranty is $650, but he charged me $8,500. (4) They did not let me read contract. And they did not give me a copy of contract. (5) There are "Mediation" and "Arbitration" clauses on the contract. 94% of arbitration had been done to dealer's benefit. And it is too expensive for consumers to request arbitration. So please never sign contracts with arbitration clauses. Bill Page Toyota is a better alternative. It has much better customer review scores. read more
