Do not hire this company. They regularly engage in fraudulent, dishonest business practice and will…read morescam you out of money with their bait and switch price schemes. Be sure to read carefully what they provide in writing because it will not be what they told you verbally. They will quote you an initial price and then change the price to double the quote. I have reported them to the Maryland State Department of Licensing and Labor for Fraudulent Business Practices. And am in the process of filing a complaint with the better business bureau. We had a verbal agrement for $125 inspection charge which would be applied to the initial treatment if they did the treatment at the same time. I agreed to the initial treatment for $175 and then a quarterly charge of $125 for regular maintenance. But then they gave me a bill for $300 for 2 services in 7 days. And they refused to do a 1 time service $175. They wasted my time. And my tenant's time. And refused to honor our verbal agreement for the $175 treatment after wasting hours of my time. I have already disputed the charge on my credit card. But please be warned... they will charge your card even if they don't actually do the services.

They're significantly more thorough and detailed. Tim was super knowledgeable--great at explaining, identifying the holes & setting up traps. Fast forward a couple of months, there's much less activity, but we were still finding droppings. They finally called in an expert named Willian & he was just spectacular. He's hardworking, detail-oriented & not afraid to get his hands dirty. Compared to the other workers, he found at least 12 additional openings in the most unexpected areas. He even crawled into the space underneath my deck to fix the holes! I'm not sure if Brody Brothers reads Yelp reviews, but if you do, please do whatever it takes to retain Willian. The guy's a superstar!

Brody Services failed to deliver the solution I contracted them for, misrepresented their methods,…read moreand ultimately banned me as a customer for canceling a contract that they themselves assured me I could end if the problem persisted. Because of our home's location, field mice are expected, but they began entering our home in significant numbers. We used traps and disposed of them ourselves but wanted a professional solution. Before signing a one-year contract with Brody, I explicitly asked whether I could cancel within the first year if the issue continued. Their answer was "yes". After signing, the representative told me that "mice communicate with each other," implying they learn trap locations and warn others. My husband, who grew up in the country, immediately dismissed this as nonsense. I told her I did not sign a one-year contract to be told the only solution was moving traps around. Their first service confirmed my concern: they simply took my traps, moved them around, and placed a few of their own--sometimes directly next to mine. They did not treat the issue, did not seal entry points, and did not provide any professional intervention beyond what we were already doing ourselves. Meanwhile, mice continued entering under the garage door, which Brody claimed they would a replace a liner that should resolve it. Later, they said the part was on backorder. It never arrived. They should have disclosed upfront that: * They planned to rely on trap moving rather than actual treatment. * The garage door guard was unavailable. * They could not realistically prevent mice from entering given our location. * A one-year contract would not add value. Instead, I was misled into a contract that provided no meaningful service. I canceled because they were dishonest, ineffective, and did nothing beyond what we were already doing. Canceling was not an attempt to cause trouble, it was a response to poor service and there was no intent of a bad review as I believe businesses make errors however... Fast forward to today: we have an annual ant issue and wanted a one-time treatment. This is a bit different than a mouse concern and more likely to have an effective solution. I called Brody for a quote (along with a few other pest control businesses), explained that the mouse service had not worked out, and after being placed on hold was told I am banned from receiving Brody services because I canceled a contract early--despite being told I could. I never spoke badly about Brody and even sent them a customer who I will now be sharing this experience with. This is unprofessional, retaliatory, and a clear warning to others to not sign a contract with Brody unless you receive a written guarantee that their services will fully resolve your issue and that you will not be banned if you have sufficient reason to cancel. I was kind, understanding and I also failed to mention, they had a billing concern too, so they had to apply the overcharge to a future visit, but what if I had not caught that overcharge? I was not going to give this review until the representative on the phone told me good luck in the future in a condescending tone when all I asked was for her to pass along my feedback. So this should better get their attention. They were dishonest, ineffective, and punitive when held accountable. I'm no longer able to support this business.

Had been keeping them at bay with a fly swatter and a can of bug spray while I awaited the appointment I'd made with a big company, that was still a week away. In a panic, I called A to B at 9:10 PM on a Saturday, seeing the "24 hour service" advertising, but without high expectations. Antonio was here from across town as quickly as possible, and by 10:30 was fogging the nest in my wall. It was a tricky location, which required a follow up visit on Monday, to finish off the yellowjackets that had hatched since the treatment. Again, he was here as quickly as possible. He's competent & personable, and in spite of the weird timing of my initial request, didn't charge me significantly more than one of The Big Guys would have charged to come during "normal business hours." My husband was stung by one, and he said it was like having a lit cigarette pressed onto his finger. After debating whether to try to go at it with a wasp killing spray, we decided that this job was beyond us. Because it was a Saturday and their office was closed, we left our contact info on All Star's website. Much to my surprise, Abdul, the company owner, called me very shortly thereafter! When I explained the problem, he deemed it an emergency and offered to come to our home the following day, Sunday. He also told us exactly what it would cost (extremely reasonable). He called us again Sunday morning with an approximate time of arrival. His kept us updated by text narrowing down the exact time. He arrived "dressed for battle" in protective gear. He treated the nest several times, then waited for the hornets to expire. He was at our home for about 45 minutes. He removed the huge nest, bagged it, and took it away with him. After being pretty much held captive and not able to be in our front yard for days, this was a huge relief. I cannot say enough good things about Abdul and the service he provided. He was so knowledgeable and very friendly and personable. He explained that his practices are based on his background in biology and are environmentally friendly. We are considering signing up for a yearly contract with All Star. We have been plagued with ants entering our home over the years, as well as mice. Abdul assured us that he would handle these as needed, as well as provide termite inspections with a yearly contract.
