This is one of the best businesses I have ever worked with. Albert and Danil are responsive, fast, efficient and fair -- and the output was perfect. We went with a white french oak on the stairs and second floor -- and it looks fantastic! We get tons of compliments. A few highlights: 1. Easy to work with -- I talked with Albert for literally three years about redoing my floors, and through it all he was responsive and helpful. He was willing to work with me however I wanted (buy the wood from him, buy elsewhere and have him install, etc.). He never rushed me or got frustrated, even though I changed my mind and went dark multiple times! 2. Put me first -- I always had the sense that Albert was 100% committed to making sure I was happy with the job. I had a hard time deciding what wood I wanted, and he was very patient as I explored the options. I even changed my mind after purchasing some hickory, and he worked with me to change the order right away -- no issue. 3. Daniel, Albert and their team, I highly recommend for flooring needs. The quality of their work is exemplary. In our two-story house they completely replaced our carpets/tiles/Vinyl with wood and tiles. They helped us with valuable suggestions, in selecting the wood/tiles/bullnoses/baseboards and also several choice of places to buy them from. They remodeled our fireplace and entertainment center and made it look really nice. We have added new things as the project went on, they patiently did a great job. They first came to our house on a Saturday evening for the estimate and we were so impressed with them and gave them the project to start on Monday morning and we are very happy with our decision. They are detail-oriented and patient during the finishing of the project which is something not easy to find. Their prices are reasonable and it is easy to work with them. Customer satisfaction is their #1 priority. While other contractors we spoke to said they cannot replace the carpet under closet shelves without probably damaging the shelves, these guys did a professional work by installing wood with the closet shelves being as sturdy as they were before. They also did quality staircase wood work. They painted all the baseboards and replaced all bath faucets and took care of the construction cleaning and hauling. When we faced some unexpected challenges like floor was damaged next to an upstairs bathroom, they replaced the wood with reasonable additional quote. Their prices are not only reasonable and also when unexpected things add up they will still quote reasonable price. Other contractors might rip you off there. These guys are knowledgeable in what they do, very friendly and have great attitude. Overall we are extremely impressed with all aspects of the project. These guys deserve more than 5 stars! You wouldn't know it based on their young appearance, but Albert and his partner Daniel are really amazing experienced hardwood floor installers. They did such a great job on our tricky project which required a lot of foresight and planning, measuring and re-measuring. They were totally open to our new ideas. We had them do an install of about 1500 sq feet of flooring + stairs + wood panel wall leading from the floor up to the stairway wall to conceal a hidden door under the stairs + a built-in bench with storage. They also are very attentive of making sure planks are not lined up the same way each time (Not sure how to explain this but you don't want there to be two plank ends to be near each other). We used MAMRE flooring (which are great), and were really picky on which planks went where. Prior to their arrival, I spent the weekend opening up all of the flooring to sort the planks. I wanted the main living area to be free of knots since I was going for a modern look, and sorted the wood planks with more knots to use in the closet or under the kitchen cabinets, etc. Albert and Daniel were both super accommodating. They were attentive to minimizing waste as well. Furthermore, they're very careful and clean, easy to communicate with, and friendly hardworking guys. The result is beautiful and I highly recommend them. I can't wait to share photos once our house construction is done and we can remove the protective red paper. I know that every time I walk on these floors I'll appreciate all of the hard work these guys put in to it. read more

Daniel and Sam were very good. They were able to start my flooring project sooner than expected (thanks to a rescheduling from another customer). They removed the old carpets and linoleum on day 1 and started the laminate installation the next day. Daniel was proactive is educating us about a problem with a luxury vinyl tile we had purchased for the bathrooms and we were able to return the material and purchased a different style from another manufacturer. Thanks to this, we avoided what could have been an extensive repair in the months to come. They installed laminate in the living, dining, kitchen, stairwells and hallways. Albert came recommended to us from the owner of the store where we bought our hardwood. He promptly came out to measure our house to help order the correct quantity of wood. As soon as the wood arrived and acclimated to the house, Albert and crew started their work. It was not an easy job by any means..part of our house is on slab and part of it is on crawl space. The slab portion was not quite uneven. They first evened everything out and then glued down the wood with great precision. They did a clean job with seamless tiling of all the wood pieces. They also installed thresholds and stair nosing for us...leaving everything looking beautiful. One important thing to mention is that Albert is very very responsive. We were not easy customers...and had to call him back a few times to install base boards in different rooms, clean up dried glue and one time he came out and replaced a plank in the center of our kitchen just because my wife thought it didn't match the rest of the wood very well! He did everything with a smile and with a lot of precision! I've already recommended Albert to another friend and would have no hesitation recommending him to everyone else as well. The hardwords floors in our house was damaged by refrigerator water leaking and the water damage control company left a mess by yanking out only part of them and make the restoration difficult. Not many hardwood floor installations know how to deal with a half done floor. Fortunately we found Foreign Floors. Albert and Andreas did an outstanding job by carefully carving out piece-by-piece the hardwoods near the border along the remained good floors and those that are taken out and laid the new floors to make it seamless connected to the remained good hardwood floors. We have made numerous suggestions for change during installation and Albert and Andreas took all our suggestions and made corrections on the way. After Albert and team left we have a hardwood floor as good as before and it just feels like water damage never happened, not mentioning saving us money and hassles from installing the whole floor that would require us to pack and move a lot more stuffs in the house.
