Goby, the technician was able to come out the same day I called, and quickly replace the new printhead I had purchased.

There a few businesses which are over 100 years old in San Francisco and fewer that are over 150 years old in human years. There is a family owned business in San Francisco which started over 150 years ago and still exists on Market street and it's called Patrick & Co. Walking down Market street the vibe of downtown San Francisco is a blend of vintage and modern with a mix of the future. If you are coming here for the FedEx drop-off, may the saints guide you, because the store certainly won't. There are zero visible signs indicating where to leave your packages. I eventually discovered that "service" here is a theoretical concept rather than a practiced reality. I spent enough time standing around waiting for a human being that I nearly developed a patina to match the floor. Speaking of the floor: it is impressively dirty. For a place that sells cleaning supplies, they seem remarkably hesitant to use them. The aisles are packed with merchandise, yet the store manages to feel abandoned--like a cluttered monument to corporate indifference. If you enjoy scavenger hunts in dusty, unstaffed showrooms, this is your Mecca. If you actually want to ship a package or be acknowledged as a breathing entity, literally anywhere else in the Richmond would be better.

Have to get it delivered, and their carrier won't bring it inside, or call or text when he arrives. No, he has to leave it on the sidewalk outside my house. They can't even give a definite day. But I live in San Francisco, I explain. I have a bad back, which is why I am purchasing this expensive ergonomic chair to begin with. I either need it delivered and carried upstairs or I can come get it and then bribe someone to carry it upstairs for me. Then they tell me about the super premium delivery service they offer, which features carrying upstairs, and scheduling. Starts at three hundred. So I cancelled this order and got them to refund the charge, and then I bought myself a pollo asado quesadilla at Nick's Crispy Tacos nearby (now THAT was a five-star experience), and then I found the same damn chair on Amazon, used, for three hundred bucks cheaper, and the United States Postal Service will bring it next week, and I will bribe someone to carry it upstairs for me, problem solved. No thanks to these guys. No wonder retail in this town is dead.
