I would recommend using Princeton BMW for your purchase and servicing of a BMW. I felt Princeton had a significant inventory of models, colors and options. We engaged Julie in sales via the internet. She responded quickly to our e-mails and followed up appropriately with the right mix of phone and e-mail. She was most interested in finding us the right car with the appropriate options at a fair price. She directed us to available corporate rebates on the BMW website. We ending up buying 2 cars from her. Additionally, we recently brought our car in for a minor cosmetic repair (don't ask). I have to go with others on this place. I feel they just want to tie you up and get you for all you have $$$. I went there a couple weeks ago for what I thought would have been a minor issue to a problem I needed to resolve and the service guy looked at me like I shouldn't even own a BMW. I felt discriminated, and I will never go there again. I would rather sell both our BMWs before I do. BMWs are fun cars but if it needs service, this is not the place for you. Calls to service go unanswered. You generally get switched to an operator. They either keep ringing some extension until you get disconnected or they have you leave a message which never gets returned. Pretty unbelievable for a high priced car line that likes to think of itself as service oriented. Service gets 0 stars in my book. read more

I was driving home from the shore on Sunday when the check engine light came on and my 328i started to shake. I managed to get the car to the dealer Monday morning at 6:30 a.m. With no appointment they fixed the car the same day and picked me up at the train station. First this is for SERVICE ONLY. I've had my fair share of issues with my BMW service experiences (see my Devon BMW review) and had reached boiling point with Devon and went in search for alternative options. This place was recommended by a friend of a family member and since BMWs dont need service more than once or twice a year, travelling to jersey was not the craziest thing. After battling for 4 months with Devon BMW with an issue on my 3-series, I explained my problem to the service advisor at Princeton BMW and he said "Say no more. I know exactly what's wrong and I can have that fixed in about an hour and a half" and he delivered. While they can't do PA state inspections and I can't give them that business, I will be doing all my other service needs with them thanks to their speedy and knowledgeable staff. If you need an escape from all the hit or miss BMW service departments in the philly area, I suggest giving these guys a shot. three comments based on today's experience on wiper blade replacement, which lasted over 2.5 hours, with pre-arranged appointment 1. service receviing guys are LAZY. I parked the car in the middle service lane, which in the right direction of traffic. I was asked to relocate my car to the right lane, although they could do it in 1 minute. They guys also LIED to me, saying "nobody did that before". 2. you had better talk to the service manager immediately, or ended up my situation in which they started to look at my car after I had sit there for 2 hours. 3. service quality was good, and they tried best to fix the 2-hour delay immediately. read more

I lease my car from BMW, and I've never had an issue with BMW or the service before. This dealership had the worst customer service I have ever been exposed to. I am a young girl, and I got a flat tire the other day when I was 1.5 hours away from home. I was lucky enough to be able to make it to the dealer. I arrived at 2:45 only to be told I could not be helped in any way because they close at 3:00. I explained that I was over an hour away from home and I had no other options, I was practically in tears, and they did not even say sorry they just said they couldn't help and sent me on their way. This not only was this horrible customer service, but they just could not care less. read more

I purchased my first BMW very far up north 4 years ago and have had it serviced at Princeton ever since. My service advisor, Luke Stryker has always been extremely helpful and knowledgeable. When it came time to upgrade I met with Mike Webb. Not only is he an all around good guy, he is the least salesy car salesman I have ever dealt with. He knows what he's talking about and the lease and purchase price were exceptional. The whole process takes way too long, but that is no fault of the dealership. My car is awesome and I'm happy. So happy that two weeks later when my fiancé whose been looking at new cars asked, I said let's go see Mike Webb. Keep in mind that with the residual value on leases coupled with the best maintenance/warranty in the industry BMW's are much more affordable than people think. We again went to Princeton and after driving a number of cars and again, zero pushiness, leased another gorgeous vehicle. Princeton BMW has the worst service I have ever experienced. If i could give them a 0 rating i would. I have changed service advisors twice, and they were both awful. When I go in for any service or drop my car off to get fixed, no one wants to help me, look at me, or pay attention to me. Anytime you call you get someone's voicemail and they take forever to get back to you. You can never get a loaner car unless you plan on dropping your car off in a few weeks of making the apt. Worst dealership ever! Their cards aren't even that great.... you pay so much money and the car has a lot of problems, and the service at the dealership is extremely poor. read more

Been coming here for years and today we towed our car away from here. By far the worst customer service seen. 5 series broke down and was towed here with $2500 worth of work. Sales manager was so rude when I asked them to cover the towing as BMW roadside did not get to my pregnant hungry tired wife for 2 hours. Manager was extremely rude even worse than the service guy. On top of that they tried to charge me for a coolant flush when the job that needed to be done already supposed to include that. I researched up on a car I liked on the internet and emailed them that I would like to "SEE THIS CAR" 3 DAYS AHEAD. The internet sales manager said yes. I talked to a floor salesrep who said yes please come in. What happens when I show up after driving from Edison for an hour? The car is not ready. The windsheild was missing and there seemed to be a ton of work required on it. The salesman then pitches that he will work with us on a good deal if we come in on the month end date 2 days later in the middle of the week. Keep in mind that they know I have to come in from Edison. and late in the evening because I work in the city. Because I happened to like the color I said lets talk about it and after over an hour of talks they come back with an interest rate of 7.9% for the part of the price I was planning on financing. And this "DEAL" was only valid if I gave them a deposit on that day. when the car did not even have a windsheild to test drive it. Anyways I walked out on the "DEAL" from them and bought my car the next day from a dealership closer to my home for a better deal and only 4.30% rate. thank you. I would be very wary of dealing with people who have no respect for others time and no understanding of what their responsibility is towards their customers. read more

I just leased an X5 40e from Princeton BMW and the level of service my husband and I received from everyone we interacted with was exceptional from start to finish. We were greeted by Ashley and told her we wanted to speak to someone about the x5s with Hybrid technology. She asked Hong Fung (sales person) to help us and have to say he was a pleasure to work with. He was very knowledgeable about the technology, is funny and extremely patient. He took his time explaining the details about the cars and the incentive they are offering. We ended up leasing the car from Princeton BMW again because of the exceptional level of service we received from Hong Fung, Allen Cansing (Sales mgr) and Craig Brauer (Finance mgr). They exemplified professionalism and made the car buying process extremely enjoyable. This is the 3rd vehicle we have leased/purchased from this dealer and have yet to be disappointed. My experience with Princeton BMW hasn't been the best. Most recently I needed to take my 328i to the service department for an alignment. Some aspects of this visit were very good, while others were severely disappointing: Good: - Online appointment system with reminders; however, it would be nice to get an online quote for service before confirming the appointment - Loaner car was nice; process to reserve it was easy - Service Advisor Chris was very professional, helpful, and got me in and out efficiently as soon as he saw me - I was greeted and asked what I needed first when I pulled up and then as soon as I walked in - Clean facility with a nice waiting area - When I called for a quote, the associate was very friendly and helpful Disappointing: - I arrived early for my 0740 appointment (0715) and while my advisor arrived at 0730, I wasn't seen until 0745 and he said he didn't know I was waiting. The gentleman who greeted me knew I was waiting and kept checking on me; where was the communication to the advisor that I was waiting? - I told my advisor that I needed to get stuff out of my vehicle before I left. When I went out to the parking lot, I saw my car being driven away. I ran after it waving my arms and the driver got faster and sped in a loop around the parking lot with my car, which only needed to be driven about 100 yards from where it was originally parked. I continued running after it and finally caught up and told the employee I needed to get my belongings. He just said "I really like that stick shift!" It should have been obvious I had a backpack and handbag in the passenger seat, and a uniform in the back. Again, there was a breakdown in communication somewhere, not to mention how unprofessional this employee was. - My vehicle came back to me with about 10 additional miles on it. Where did they take it?! BMW is known for providing great service to its BMW owners, which is to be expected as much as we pay for their vehicles. I've lived in 5 different locations as a BMW owner and this is the worst I've experienced...maybe it's a NJ thing. read more

Ok, I have to preface this by stating that I had written a very horrible review after my last encounter at this dealership. I swore that I would never return to this particular dealership, but I needed an oil change and I didn't want to wait to take it out to "my guy" in Hightstown. So I took my car back to Princeton BMW and was greeted by an awesome guy named Elliot. Elliot was super friendly and polite, while maintaining his professionalism. He had me speak to one of their service advisors, who was also fairly decent. When I went to pick up my car, they had wiped down the interior leather (seats), as well as the dashboard and console! Even my floormats looked clean! I was so happy with the way she looked, I fell in love with my car all over again! I was SOOOO pleased with everyone I encountered today, everyone was very friendly and efficient. I hope they all keep up the good work! read more

I live within walking distance of this dealership, but I hate taking my car for service because of the rudeness of the service manager. I need my car serviced now, but I feel a little intimidated and I actually went online to find another dealership, however far away that may be, but I'm not taking my car in for service at Princeton BMW. I really feel that the service manager makes up his own pricing, just to dissuade me from bringing my vehicle in for service. I had called to get satellite radio installed and perhaps a modulator, if needed. I had been told that it would cost between $300-600, but when I gave the person on the phone my name, suddenly, the price went up to $1,000. I don't enjoy bringing my car for service, but if there's something wrong with a vehicle that I purchase AT Princeton BMW, I expect that they would bend over backwards to make sure that the BMW they sold me is in excellent condition. Since I purchased my BWM in March, I've been there at least 3 times. The one time, the service manager told me there was nothing he could do and to "go talk to your salesman"; so frustrated with them. Mr. Angeloni is the best; Lew, not so much. Gotta give the service manager a thumbs down for customer service. In general, the facility and employees are good, but once you've made your purchase, try not to come back except for maybe scheduled maintenance. read more
